You have every right to be scared! From what I've heard from other ladies, I don't recall them having a productive cough with sputum. That does sound like a virus. I'll pray for you that it is.

Grace....sorry first of all that you find yourself on these boards because of the nasty BC!
I don't think it sounds like anything serious..but you would be wise to ask those questions on the met's boards. They are all much more knowledgeable than most of us concerning mets and it's symptoms.
All the best to you! If you feel like joining our friendly group, we would love to have you!
xoxo

Hi Grace!
Sending you some big , gentle hugs. I was diagnosed at the age of 49. And your path and mine are almost the same. I am now 2yrs. out. It is very scary at times. Especially in the beginning. And we still have our moments here. Every ache and pain makes you think "oh no , is this mets"? So far my aches and pains have not been mets. Hang in there. It does get easier , but it does take time. Please feel free to join us here! We have a beautiful , loving bunch of sisters and one bother here. But I agree with Lisa. The best place to as about met systoms may be on the stage IV thread. But please come back and join us! Hugs and Prayers to you always , Melody

OK Uncle Bill , Whats going on?! If you are serious , I agree with Cathi. I'm sure she was making a face thinking , "where did the yrs go"! Or she was just joking. Plus she came here and told us not to believe you. But you didn't hear that from me!lol
And anyway BARBE , I believe I have seniority over you! He is mine! Pick me! Although , I think Sue , Jane , Karen , Judie , all have seniority on me!lol
OK you two , kiss and make up. And quit laughing at us!
UB , sorry though , that chemo is kicking your butt. But it means it is kicking bootfaces butt too!xxxx Mel

OK everyone , its time to belly up to the bar!

Since it feels like a sultry , summer day here , I am gonna start off with a gin and tonic , with a twist of lime!

Mel - Looks perfect! I'll be joining you.
Congrats to AE and UB!
Grace - I have HUGE hugs for you! My dx was similiar to yours to. Have you had surgery? SNB? Pathology reports? Keep us informed. Im sure we can all offer you some help!

Hi All!!!
First off- (((((((((((((((((((((Grace))))))))))))))))))))))) - I am sure what you have is a virus but check around the site - maybe you will find an answer. You just landed in OZ, things get better as you travel the yellow brick road - I promise. Stop by any time and let us know how you are doing.
I just wanted to let Cathi know she was right - that was EXACTLY what I thought when UB mentioned 26 years. I feel so OLD!!!
Ok, now my time to complain about him! He just got finished watching the Red Sox kick the Yankees butts and he is so happy he doesn't want to lie down but go on the computer instead. So that means I have to leave. grrrrrr.
Love you all - I shall return!!!
AE

Thanks for the Drink Makraz! I tried to just add all of my friends here to my top girls list , but something happened , and it said to try again later. Oh well ladies , I tried.
-
And I'm so sorry the chemo is kicking your butt, UB. God, I hate chemo!!! Big hugs!!!
-
I tried to do the same thing, Mel. It gave me the same response!
-
Just stopping by for a quick cocktail with you ladies. Having my father home has meant so much more work for me, but I hope things will ease up once we have regular aides during the week. Weekdends will only be one 8 hour shift of help. He's a little goofy and so very docile. He used to have an opinion about everything. Now, he mostly just shrugs when you ask if he needs or wants anything.
So what's that drink of the house?
-
Thanks Linda!!!!
-
Good question, Nancy. Whatever it is, I hope it's a stiff one! We're having permitting problems (again) for the new house. I'm so stressed!!
-
Gosh, I can so relate to your stress regarding your dad, Nancy. I saw how hard it was on my mom when my dad's health was deteriorating. Hang in there! Sounds like you need a stiff one too!!
-
Hi Nancy! Glad to hear your dad is home. I'm sure you are very busy with him. Maybe being back in his surroundings will help him. He maybe depressed after all he has been through. Keeping him in my prayers.
OK Nancy , So far , gin and tonic ,and a nice cool vodka cranberry! What ever you like!
-
Oh Karen honey , what ever you want , better make it a double!
-
OK ladies , I don't know why , but I can't down load pics! I had some awesome ones for you , but its not letting me here.
