AE , hugs and love to you! Congrats! Thanks be to God.

OK , stubborn sister Sue. It appears you are waiting till tomorrow to tell the onc about your ses. Sue , I am not going to keep nagging. I do need to say out loud to you , from what you just experienced , it sounds like your bp is low and you may pass out. Working and staying busy so your mind doesn't drift to bootface , is gonna land you in the hospital. Your body is so worn down right now. Missing a week of tx is not going to make a difference in your tx process. I am going to go light a candle for you Sue. I'm gonna pray that God will hold you tight in His arms and let you rest and find comfort.xxxx
-
Sue I am praying for you too. Your body needs to rest.I won't say anymore but I agree with everyone here. Lots & lots of love to you.
AE!!! b9b9b9b9b9b9b9!!!!!! Awesome!!! So happy for you! Big hugs and congratulations! Hi UB - hope you are feeling ok and having some good moments.
Nancy - I loved your story of your son's makeup artistry - what a talented boy! Did he end up in an artistic career? You write so well and I get such clear mental pictures of what you are talking about. I did laugh when I 'saw' you come through the door with your son stretched out playing dead! Lol!
Sheila - loved hearing about Penelope's shedding! She must adore all the extra brushing and attention! Your house must be so clean with all that vacuuming! My dear old dog used to shed all year round - and she was a shorthaired type.
Lisa, I know what you mean about downsizing. I have a very big yard and I just can't keep up with it. When any of my sons are around they mow and do what they can but mostly it's just me here. (My dh is usually only here on weekends and we prefer to spend quality time together rather than working in the yard). We are both looking forward to the small and pretty garden in the mountains which will be much more manageable. I will enjoy doing some gardening there but all the hard work has been done with terraced garden beds and only small areas of lawn. Of course, the main problem will be lack of storage but that will force me to throw out a lot of junk and have a minimalist look!
Wren! That is so exciting about your replacement surgery! A beautiful new you and an end to the discomfort of the fills... my best wishes for a great outcome.
Oh, and welcome to whatsup - tell us your stories too! I do love reading about the lives of all the diverse and wonderful people here.
Well, must get my head out of cyberspace and into some nitty gritty - the dust is calling for the vacuum cleaner and my assignments need attention - not to mention the washing up!
Love to all of you - you wonderful people!
Jane xxxx

AE.....THANK GOD!! SEE...WE ALL SENT OUR PRAYERS AND GOOD VIBES...WE KNEW YOU WOULD GET THE B9 NEWS!!!!!!!!! YEAH....I AM SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!! I HAD GOOSE BUMPS WHEN I READ YOUR NEWS!!!
I understand about your fustrations with your Townhouse. I don't know if I could live without storage...although that would mean less "stuff"! I may opt for a small home with less yard. Time will tell. I just know I do not need the square footage I have here.
Sue....darling...I won't repeat everyone else's sentiments...although I feel the same as they do. You need to take better care of yourself. Like Mel said, you sound like you have very low blood pressure...are you dehydrated? We know you are over worked. If they say, no to chemo tomorrow..then let it wait till next week...but in the meantime, please, please take care of YOU!! We love you!!! (((((Sue)))))!
Karen that picture of the cat...too funny...he almost looked like he was fake! Definately not happy about his outfit! haha.
Sheila...I can relate to the shedding...well..not now..because Oliver does not shed (thank God) but my labs did...and springtime was the worst!! I bet Penelope loves all the attention.
Nancy...I would have passed out to see my child on the floor..with what looked like a real wound! What a clever kid! haha.
Well..headaches are gone!! It was lack of food I think! The sun was shining here today...I had the doors open...while I was cleaning. It felt so good!! Finally!!!
I have a link that you can click on to watch Olivia's McDonald's commercial. My daughter Alise found it...so I will send it...hold on...
I hope it works....
xoxo

Lisa! I loved the video! Olivia is so cute. She did a great job , I thought she was a real Mcickydees employee! The is so cool. I will look for it on local tv. Glad your headache is gone and you are feeling better. Yes , we have to plan for lunch.xxxx
Sue , hope you are fast asleep. Hope you're feeling better soon. Good luck tomorrow. Much love and hugs , Mel
-
Oh Karen , that cat pic is hilarious! He does look mad! Boy , the things we put are fur babies through.lol
-
Thanks Mel. Yes...we have to plan!! Check out your calendar...and we will schedule a Sunday! I know this Sunday it's supposed to be cold again
.
Well...I am going to relax now....I have a sore back from scrubbing floors...my back has not been used to that lately! haha
Have a good night my dear friends.
xoxo
Lisa -
Karen, loved the cat! The look on his/her face! Lol! Why do we do this to our pets?! When I was a little girl, I always took my dolls' clothes off and put them on my cats. They didn't really seem to mind though. I used to put them in a big old baby pram and take them for walks, all dressed up. My last dog used to look great in red!
Lisa, so glad your headaches have eased. I had one last week - a real stinker. I checked out the Macdonalds ad. Wow, Olivia is just so beautiful! I won"t be surprised if she is discovered by Hollywood soon!
-
Lisa, Olivia is absolutely gorgeous in the commercial! She did an excellent job. Hopefully, there will be more commercials (and maybe TV or movies) in her future!
Hugs,
Karen
-
Praying for you sweet Sue!! I am at work..thinking and praying for an easy time today for you! Love you!!
Thanks Jane and Karen...wouldn't it be great if Olivia's dream came true?!! I told her..then she could take care of her Mommy!! hahaha!
Love to my dear, dear friends. I will check in later today from work. I have to be somewhat careful, since they are monitoring our internet use more.
xoxo
Lisa
Another beautiful sunny day here!!
Jane...you mentioned putting your cats in a pram and walking them. I remember my mom calling our baby buggy a pram..it was huge...your mention brought back such sweet memories for me..thanks!! xoxo

sue, you should have had your blood count checked sooner! Please rest up. your body needs the rest.
AE - great on the b9 results. I guess the b9 chant helped!
Lisa, I was able to see the commercial, It was great! It is nice to think that our children will be able to take care of us. My son promises that when he comes home he will pay me back any expenses I have incurred taking care of his business while he is on deployment.
I also need to get to work.
Sheila

Lisa- Olivia is so pretty - I couldn't help but stare at her hair - its so healthy - and I am so jealous as my hair will never be the same.
Sue - see what happens when you don't take care of yourself, missy!!! So what did they say about your mouth & nose??? When do you go back?? Don't worry about rads yet - get thru the poison first!
Gotta get back to work,
bbl,
AE
-
Sue, I'm so glad they tested you first. Hope you can rest up!
AE, so happy to hear B9 for UB!
-
Hi all my dear sisters.
YEAHHH AE and UB, way to go!!!!
Sue, lovey, you are NOT going to die. It is hard not to think of this, we all did, but with no lymph nodes and as agressive as they have been with the chemo, you are going to be just fine, live to be an old lady and go to a rest home and call a sweet nurse "mama". So there.
No, it does not hurt a thing to skip a treatment, almost everyone has to for colds, flu, low blood counts, a million reasons. This is no big deal so stop worrying.
We are just about to enter the Amazon, the ocean is brown, 5 miles out from the silt. tomorrow is our first Brazil port on the mainland. We were at Devil's Island yesterday. We saw Tapirs, monkeys and peacocks. I will post when we get to the port.
There is a Dengue Fever epidemic in Brazil, everyone says, Oh don't worry, it is in Rio. Yeah, one plane flight away! haha
Love to you all, Shirlann
-
Lisa, will that play in the Cincinnati area? One of my brothers live in Florence KY, just over the river from Cinn.
Shirlann, I am just still in awe that you are posting from the cruise ship..and going up the Amazon! Don't bring home any shrunken heads, please, or weird diseases. But a cure for BC would be appreciated :-)
Sue, I'm actually glad they didn't let you have your treatment. You really need a slight break. Rest up, take care of yourself...pamper yourself with a bubble bath and nice cuppa.
I'm socializing tonight with some co-workers. One of my longtime friends is leaving next week, so we're taking her out for a drink. Pepsi for me and wine for them. TX #2 on Thursday so I'm starting my detox...gotta keep the liver healthy.
Jane, Jack outgrew the make-up phase, but not before he became fixated on The Phantom of the Opera. I can't tell you how many times I had to endure being "Christine" and having my little phantom whip off his mask to reveal his scarred face, LOL. But because the Broadway musical had just opened that lead to his interest in music. The next Christmas, he asked for the show's soundtrack and libretto.
Now, that has stayed with him. He has a natural talent for music and picked up playing the piano by ear, and then learned to read music. I managed a year of lessons for him when he was in high school, and he took that further than I expected. He doesn't have a piano now, but he does have an organ, and he plays the piano whenever he comes by my house. I am just amazed. I had lessons when I was a child, but I never played with the ease he does.
Unfortunately, he's still floundering around looking for his niche. He'd like a career in film preservation. It's his passion, finding and restoring old movies and then permanently archiving them. But there isn't really a school that has a degree in that other than a graduate program in Rochester, NY. He's not really a classroom type of person...really disliked high school and the semester of college he tried. So right now he is supporting himself with some movie-related stuff he sells in the internet and Mom's credit card, LOL.
Back to work!
-
Shirlann...good to hear from you...I too am amazed...to think you are in the Amazon sending us your messages.
Sue...what did they say about your counts? Are they doing anything for you? U do need to rest.
Nancy...the commercial is only playing in Northeast Ohio...because of the Cavs.
AE....Olivia has colored her hair a few times...I keep telling her...it's so pretty..leave it alone..or you will ruin it. Our hair will return to it's previous state...it just takes time...I can't wait until this curly mop goes back to my old hair!
Back to work...
Lisa
