-
Sorry, Sue. I just can't keep up with your schedule. I'm relieved that you don't have to go in tomorrow. You need this extra week to recoup.
Love and hugs,
Karen
-
That is totally ridiculous, AE! 1:00???? Crazy!
Hugs,
Karen

Yes, Lisa, Portia is still into theater. She auditioned for a play two weeks ago and wasn't cast. She was very disappointed, but I was relieved. The theater is a 40 minute drive from here, and the rehearsals are in the late evening. It doesn't make sense to come home, so Chase and I have to hang out for two hours. I'm so tired from radiation--it would have been very hard on me.
As for our weather, it was HAILING here today! It was snowing pretty hard and then hailing in Seattle too. They showed the people in the stands during the Mariners game on the evening news. They were getting pelted with hail. It was nuts! Stupid weather!

Morning Sisters xxx

Love you all xxx
-
Sue - I just wanted to tell you that I am thinking of you and praying that all your pain and bleeding will stop soon. I wish you could take some time off!
Nancy - that is so good that your blood tests were ok and it sounds as though, even after one tx, bootface is starting to cringe and shrink. Sending you lots of healing thoughts too.
AE - am thinking of you - I hope the biopsy wasn't too painful. Gentle hugs and prayers for a benign result. That is not fair that they made you wait for so long after your mammo for the surgery - as if you haven't had to wait enough already!
Lisa - I loved the video. Olivia is so gorgeous and she looked so relaxed and happy - she is a natural! With a wise mother like you behind her she is sure to do well and stay beautiful on the inside as well.
Karen - I would love to meet you in Sydney! At the moment I am about an hour's drive north of there. When/if I move to the mountains I will be slightly further away. (The contracts haven't been exchanged yet on the house so we can't be sure it is ours until then - hopefully that will be this Thursday).
It's disappointing for Portia that she didn't get into that play but I am sure there will be others that will be even better. Besides, it would have been far too much for you - all that driving! No, the timing was just not right.
Love to everyone,
Jane, xxxxx
-
Thinking so much of you AE ...Hope all is going well ... x x x
Karen ...what is it with your weather...its extremely strange.... I hope your rads is still going OK ...I am dreading mine...
I dont wanna go the chemical factory nxt week BOOOO HOOOOO ....I am starting to get stressed already...mainly my vein!!!
I am going for a bath and try wake up for a bit....my bones are aching so much and I am worried bootface has come back .... xxx
I LOVE YOU ALL ....
And I will be over to the US when I am better!!!! I will come and travel for 3 weeks if it means seeing you all!!!
Much Love xxx

I'M HERE!!!!!!
I was lucky - I think my bs had a cancellation and was able to get the biopsy done earlier, so I was home by 1:30! They gave me some pain med's and I promptly fell asleep when I got home. Now I wait for the results.............
Thank you all for being there with me - it meant tons!!!
Sue - can't wait till Sept. - we are going to have a blast!!!
Love you all,
AE
-
I'm relieved that you're home AE. How lucky for you that someone cancelled. That happened to me with my bladder surgery. It's just so much better having a procedure like that in the morning. That way you're home by early to mid-afternoon, in your bed, and resting.
I'm praying for b9 results!!!!
Hugs,
Karen
-
Sue, don't worry about your achy bones. I know it's natural to immediately think "mets", but both chemo and rads make you ache all over. You're kicking bootface's hiney!!!!!!!! It never saw what was coming!!
xoxoxoxo

Hi Sue
! Hugs to you sweet sister. You are always in my prayers. This is such a hard and SUCKING road you are traveling right now. But real soon now , this horrible part will be over. And as soon as you're white counts come back , you will feel soooo much better. Love to you.xxxx Mel

Hello everyone- UB here! Valerie is at work and told me how to access this sight. First, I want to thank everyone for your well wishes for her and myself. She had her biopsy yesterday and I had an opportunity to speak with the dr. while Val was still in the enchanted forest and the dr. said she was confident that the biopsy would be negative. Finally some good news.
I am mentally preparing myself for my third chemo treatment tomorrow. Not an easy thing, as all of you know.
Sue, Valerie and I are looking forward to your visit in Sept. Hope you are feeling better. Val said you haven't been feeling well lately. Hope everyone is doing well. Anyway, I just wanted to jump on and say, Hi!. Talk to everyone soon.
UB aka Bill

HI EVERYONE!!!

Uncle Bill!! Thanks for giving us the update on our dear Valerie!! I hope and pray that the Dr. is right and it is b9!! I have had a good feeling all along...so I think that is exactly what you will be hearing!! Give AE hugs and kisses from all of us!!
I will think of you tomorrow as you go in for another tx. You poor thing...you have been through enough!
Take care of yourself and Val!! We love you both!
Jane..crossing my fingers for Thursday...I hope it all goes well..and you get your house! Thanks for the sweet words about Olivia and myself. You are so kind.
Karen, It probably was a good thing Portia did not get a role in the play. Things work out for a reason..that would have been so hard on you. There is something better right around the corner for her!
I am at work...so keeping it short!
Love to all my ladies here!!
xoxo

Hello everyone! Just a quick one to let you all know I'm thinking about you. I've had a busy day---took Portia and three of her friends to the mall to find a dress for her 9th grade cruise and dance. She tried on almost 30 dresses and ended up buying the first one she tried on! It really looks nice on her. She's so busty--we had a hard time finding one that she didn't hang out of. I'll post a picture of her in it one of these days.
Love to you all,
Karen
-
Wow, how the days fly by! I read all the messages every day, but just don't have a lot to say sometimes. The energy here is positive and healing, regardless. I love you all!
Just wanted to comment on the crazy weather around here.
One week ago:
Then last Monday driving across the I-90 floating bridge, there was a massive hailstorm. Finally, today, my long lost friend, Mr. Sunshine, arrived to play. Here is the sun setting over the Olympic Mountains as seen from my kitchen window. The mountains have been completely lost in clouds for weeks. Perhaps there is hope after all!
Shirley, you traitor!!! You promised if I fixed your toothpick I could come along. You sailed off without me!!! See if I ever rescue you again...harumph!
Seriously, have a wonderful, wonderful cruise...
Judie

UB - thank you for updating us. I can't wait for confirmation that AE's biopsy is b9! Will be thinking of you as you have your tx tomorrow.
Judie - what beautiful photos! You have a wonderful view from your kitchen window.
Sue - how are you feeling? Are you still having nosebleeds? I am so happy that you are planning to fly to the US - that is a lovely treat to look forward to.
Karen - would love to see a pic of Portia in her new dress!
Hi Ulla! I haven't looked at that video yet but I know I'm going to love it!
It's very autumnal here and feels quite chilly tonight. I love it! I have just been out looking at the stars and they are so bright and clear. Daylight saving ends on Saturday night. Maybe I will find it easier to get out of bed then! Winter doesn't officially start until June.
The contracts were exchanged today so the house is ours! I looked at pretty things today in the shops and fanasised about feathering the nest.
Hugs to all I have mentioned and to all I haven't. I just realised it's midnight and I must go to bed! I have been at my night class and had such fun that I came home all excited and can't wind down!
love to all,
Jane, xxxxxx

Melody - you have a talent for posting the best pics! Thank you for your good wishes re the house. I will have to work out how to post a picture of it. It's just a simple little place and the pics on the net don't really do it justice - it just feels like home when you walk into it and I love the garden - full of lavender, elms, a weeping cherry, fruit trees and all sorts of plants I have yet to discover.
Well, it's Friday here and it soon will be for everyone else in the world. It's pretty quiet on this thread - guess everyone is busy and tired from the week's work and stresses.
Hugs to everyone,
Jane, xxxx
-
Jane - Congrats on the house!!! I'm so jealous - I love to decorate!!! Can you post the URL so we can sneak a peek at the new place???
