Hi, I can mail a box off this week too, but they will need borders as well. Where should I send them?

I have been busy crocheting some squares, now my elbow is giving me trouble (like tennis elbow) from holding my right arm in the same position too long

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
LIZ

I was blown away by receiving a hugaghan in the mail, it came at a time when I was at my lowest. There are no words to tell how it encouraged me, I cried tears for quite a while (tears of joy) There are so many good people and great friends in the world and most of mine are my bc sisters. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and have a box of squares I have knitted and would love to send them to someone and be a part of this worthwhile project. God bless all of you. Is it ok to send them to Madison? Much love and hugs to all of you.
-
Thank you spar. I hope this project keeps going beause there are still sisters out there who need our support and hugs. I have a box of squares to mail, but they have not been bordered yet. Where should I send them?
-
I have a box of squares ready to get in the mail. I was having car troubles yesterday but hope to get it out today or tomorrow.
-
Spar .. I'm so happy you received a hugathan. You richly deserve to be comforted and kept warm with our love,
Bren

Hi all - there is a woman named Irina who is stage IV and been having a really difficult time. In case she has not received one of your beautiful hugathans, I think she really could use one now! There is a post about her in the stage IV forum.
I should learn how to crochet so I can help you. Such a wonderful gift!
-
I can take squares that need bordered.. jenni you know what must also be in the box
-
If you need Irina's address - please let me know.
-
Thanks MB. I will make sure they go in the mail Monday morning!!
-
yep purple i know exactly what needs to be in the box ... teehee !
-
I am new to this. I found some yarn and my old crochet needles. I started my first square (7x9 inches) Is that the correct size? If someone would be kind enough to PM me the address to where I should send the squares, I'll be happy to help out with this project. My sister aslo wants to help make the squares.
Thanks.
-
welcome veggy ! yep 7x9 machine washable/dryable medium weight yarn .....
purple i'll try to get the box out this week ....
hugs liz and madison ! hi to all the hugaghan gang ... just got home from trip around the U.S. so still unpacking .... but was fun ....
-
I'm guilty for not popping in and I'm so sorry. I've been working on hugaghans and adjusting to my new job and hours.
I am so happy to see everyone here. We do have a few names and are working as quickly as we can.
Laura....unless Madison has Irina's info you can send it to me.
jenni.....no fair! I need a box too.
veggy.....it's so nice to see you here. When you have some squares ready just let us know and we'll get you an address.
I'm off to lay another out. I'll post the recent pic tomorrow.
Hugs and thank you all again so very much!
-
I am also guilty for not popping in. Have been in and out of state helping with a grandson and having back issues.
I'll check the list to see if Irina has received an afghan.
Veggy, welcome
Hugs one and all

Hello everyone!
I have two squares done so far. I was hoping to have more completed by now.
-
I just got an email from AC Moore the Red Heart Super Saver yarns are on sale through Saturday for $1.99 - regular price $2.79. If you need to buy any more yarn, now would be a good time to get it.
Veggy, glad to have another set of hands making squares. I usually get about 20-30 squares done before I send them. I make sure that it is a big box.
Madison, glad to see you back on the boards, did you get my box I mailed a couple of weeks ago?
Sheila

veggy way to go ! i think the 'perfect' hugaghan has a square from 42 different women so you are already at two hugaghans !!!
-
Thanks Jenni_ca. I have hugged the 2 I already made. I will blow kisses in the package before I send it. This is a great idea.
-
A box 'o squares is on its way to LIZ! Thanks girls for keeping our project going.
-
I'm up to 6 squares.
-
Good job veggy! Every little square helps! ; )
-
I picked up more yarn today.
-
Sorry, I haven't been here in a Long time, but I have been working on a lot of squares---Liz and Madison, I promise to get them in the mail soon. I have a lot of mine, and some of Brenda's bordered, and ready to go !
-
veggy - yarn shopping is fun now - i never could finish a big project but 7x9 i can do
i will try to get them in the mail soon - had to take time out to do some more testing (onc is talking to surgeon today about a biop) and the wind is blowing in from the east so it is over 90 degrees therefore NOT a good time to be picking "you know what needs to go in the box" .... lol
-
It was cold and I was cuddled up in my hugahan and it really hit me how good people are. How much love and caring goes into each and every square. I truly felt surround by love and it seemed to give me strength. Live is rough right now but know the future will be better. I just had to thank you all again for giving me back my faith in people and life. I love it and I love all of you. You all are my sisters. hugs.
-
Hello sisters, just checking in. I have been sewing a lot - basically need a new wardrobe after losing weight this summer - finally! Will get back to knitting soon I promise. Stay well.
