Liz - Another box is on its way to you.
-
Liz ~ lovely afghan! Thanks so much for the picture.
Madison ~ I hope all goes well for your mother; prayers are going up for you and your parents. *hugs*
raro ~ So glad you're having fun. I love making squares; I like to see how the same yarn can look so different depending on the stitches used.
Have a great day, everyone!
Artemis -
Sisters, hope you are well. I have accumulated a good many squares but I was trying to get some more ready in other colors so there's more variety in the box (I use a big skein and just knit till it's gone.)
I like all the blues in the latest picture.
-
Hi everyone,
I mailed two boxes of hugs today. I have another laid out ready to sew together.
Laura.....got your box today. Thanks hon!
Thanks to each of you so much.
Hugs

Artemis,
I will be looking for the squares.
I am working on an afghan while at the hospital with my Mom
Thanks -

Another box will be on its way.
We were without electricity, for about 14 hours, due to a storm yesterday. No computer, radio, nothing! Sooooooooooooo...I crocheted by candlelight! lol
Hope you're all doing well.
-
Artemis, thank you....I received your squares....beautiful
-
I am mailing this afghan today
Your squares are all wonderful. I love them all.
Thank you so very much!
-
LauraGTO ~ crocheting by candlelight sounds so cozy, but I'm sure you were glad for the electricity to be back on, lol. Cheers to you for being such a dedicated Border Patroller!
Madison ~ I'm glad the squares got there ok. The new afghan is so pretty! The smiley face is too cute, and I'm loving that brown and orange granny because it makes me think of candy corn ~ yum! I hope all went well with your mother.
I keep forgetting to tell y'all about my flea market find: a box full of yarn for five dollars! There were bunches and bunches of partial skeins, so of course I thought, "SQUARES!!!" when I saw them. Woot woot!
Have a good day,
Artemis -
Madison.....gorgeous as always. I'm working on bordering a few squares and then will have one ready to sew together. I've got to stop spending so much time laying them out. lol
Thanks so much to each of you.
Hugs.....Liz

Hi everyone. I just found this thread through Laura. she gave me directions on what to do.. so I'll be joining in on the fun.. I don't go anywhere right now, but do have a few scap balls of yarn to get me started. I'll mail my squares with Laura's for now (she lives a mile or so away)... Not sure how creative I can get right now as chemo is taking its toll.. but this is good to help my neuropathy.. and something I love to do.. my baby can only have so many sweaters.. LOL..

Wow, another nice one. I love all the different patterns on this one. You guys are so creative. Do I see a square with a yellow happy face? Love it. I have some squares that need bordering just need to get to the post office. I haven't done much knitting with temps being so hot but will pick it up again in the fall. Thanks ladies for keeping this project going.
-
at camp this week and I hope to get some crazy squares finished.. hmm still trying to figure out how they go together...lol but soon I will have them done and I'm sure the pattern will fall into place...

odalys - weather here near the pacific ocean in calif is "june gloom" ... fog in a.m. sun in afternoon but at least the fog keeps the temps down ...

Thought I posted yesterday but it disappeared! I have a box ready to go but they need to be bordered by someone. Please let me know who wants them.....
-
anyone need any squares ???
-
Hi girls.....
I'm good with squares right now - send them to Madison. We share a lot so if we need some, we just let the other know.
I've finished two afghans and will post pics in awhile. Madison has one ready to mail also. We are (fortunately) getting low on names. If you know of someone who needs a box of hugs, let one of us know. We do need all information in order to mail them.
Thanks everyone! Have a grand day. Liz
