I mailed an afghan to Brigetti in Ontario Canada a few weeks ago.
Brigetti just called and asked that I personally thank everyone that contributed to the making of the afghan.
On her behalf I would like to thank all of you for your support and help with our hugaghan project. Brigetti is still undergoing chemo and will start radiation after chemo ends.
I wish I could convey to all how appreciative and touched she sounded on the phone.......
Hugs, Madison

Hmmm....it's quiet. TOO quiet. Hope everyone is well. I have bordered some squares. I gotta admit it's not as much fun as knitting them. I'll keep going until the black yarn runs out though. More rain tomorrow so I guess I'll get a few more done.
-
Donna,
We're still making the afghans. I think Liz mailed one out this week. I've started on another afghan.
I had to make a baby blanket for my daughter's friend's baby who has been having some health problems.....
We so very much appreciate all that is done for this project.
Hugs to one and all

Oh my gosh, your Nov 3 Hugaghan came to ME! I don't know how you got my name etc., but bless you all who contributed to this wonderful gift. I can barely type throught the tears. I got the results from my PET the same day I got the afghan. It was "mostly" stable. My lymph and T5 mets are the same, but a rib and lumbar-sacral site showed up active (hence the dagnabbit pain) but not really significantly so......SO the plan is to start Ixempra on Tuesday (w/ Zometa), although I guess that could change w/ the new PET? The waiting...we all know the feeling. But I digress. I feel SO honored to be the recipient of this most glorious afghan. It'll go with me to the scary first day of Ixempra...looooooong....infusion. I continue to be amazed at the number of people who are willing to pray/wish/hope for my wellness, without even really knowing me. It is truely, marvelously, a miracle. I pray, wish, and hope for all of you as well. My love to all of you, dana

You know, that just really didn't express my gratitude.
-
Dana,
I'm so happy you received the hugaghans. We are all sending you our thoughts, prayers and well wishes....
