Mena called me this AM & wanted me to post a few things:First & most important to her is that everyone knows she is hanging tight & emotionally/spiritually/mentally she is doing OK. She is being kept as comfortable & pain-free as possible.Second-she wants all the sisters who created her afgahn to know that they could not make her happier if they were in her room hugging her thru the nite! She LOVES the blanket & sleeps under it feeling all the love EVERY single nite. She is extremely grateful....beyond words! She was very anxious that everyone know how much she appreciates it!!I know she feels our love & prayers. May God continue to bless us with her example & presence......If anyone wants to send a card you can PM for her addy.........more as I hear.Be well & stay strong

Sorry I haven't checked in for a bit. I mailed a box of hugs and am working on bordering more squares. I'll be glad when it cools off here a bit - crocheting and bordering cause major hot flashes. LOL
Laura, look forward to getting them as always.
Jule, one step at a time.

Hi everyone,
Laura, got your box last night. I haven't opened it, but I know they are wonderful! Thank you so much. I've been a little slow due to neck issues, but am chugging along.
Big hugs and always lots of thanks to each of you!

Naniam, I taught a 3rd grader at church to crochet I think I have some patience. My mom is donating her left over yarn for me to make squares.

HI,I just found your discussion. I love to crochet and now that it is getting cooler will work on a baby blanket. A young couple in our neighborhood just had an adorable baby girl. Since they didn't know if she was going to be a girl or boy, I made a 3 blankets one in pink, another in mint green one in blue.
I also finished a complicated blanket in ivory for a wedding gift & have it tucked it away in the closet.
I have lots of bits of yarn for small gifts. I made a pair of "sneakers" with the baby's initial on the side. They are very cute, but the first pair was a pain to make.
Where do you all store your yarn any good ideas? Right now most of it is in my mom's hope chest.
Happy crocheting, Shedua

Hi girls,
I bordered squares while riding this weekend. I hope to have enough done soon to make another hugaghan.
I know there are many projects that others do but the hugaghans are dear to Madison and I as well as all you guys who help make them. We continue to bring hugs, love and support to those who receive them. Thank you all so much for your help and support. We appreciate each of you.

Hi,
I'm back in the square business. The wedding was wonderful. I worked on a hugaghan on the way back from Georgia. I was able to meet Shopmama on the way home. Pam is absolutely beautiful and so warm and loving.
Pam also gave me some squares. They are great and I have already used one in the new hugaghan.
Liz did express my thoughts perfectly. The hugaghan project is dear to Liz and I and to all who make the squares. We have sent love and hugs all over the world and will continue to send love, hugs and support.
Thank you all so much for your help. It is always like a wonderful gift when we receive your squares.
Hugs, Madison
