Sounds like the sisters are going strong. My box of squares is sitting here. I have been working on a couple of "me" projects and my goal is to finish them Jan 31. So Feb 1 I should be back on afghan squares. Stay well everybody --

I mailed this afghan in December. The individual who received the hugaghan does not have internet access at this time so I'll share her thank you letter with you soon.

Thank you all for your help.........
We have started putting these tags on the hugaghans:
(excuse the stitching.......I was in a rush to get to work)

I have been to my DD's home a few times during this last month.
My DD has been on bedrest but it does look like she and the baby will make it to 36 weeks, which will be next weekend. I think all will be okay because the baby is already over 6 pounds (to term he would be over 9 lbs). He should not have to spend very much time in the ICU unit (we hope and pray).
I'll be with her and baby David for a few weeks. DH will be home so anything you should mail will be received.
I will work on an another hugaghan as time permits.
Hugs and thanks to all

Prayers are going up for your daughter and grandson.
The TLC label is lovely and gives the hugaghans an even more personal touch.

Madison, good luck with the birth of the new grandbaby. My son was only 6 lbs at birth (full term) and he is a good size healthy young man now.
I think I see some of my squares in the photos you posted Madison, glad that they worked. I have been busy with other projects (mother-in-law needed pants hemmed and no-sew fringe blankets cut) and haven't gotten to do any more squares. I will get busy soon.

Hi girls,
I finished an afghan and will get it ready to go tonight. I'll post a pic later. I'm at work right now. I have another ready to be sewn together and bordered. I hope to start on it this evening.
Thanks again to everyone who helps. You rock!

Hi, Everyone ~
Just popping in to say that I finally got the hang of the Granny Rectangle, and I'm pretty jazzed about that ~ woot woot!!I'm also excited about the yarn I bought yesterday. Mr. Artemis was with me, and I had him pick out a few skeins so that I'd have some colors that I normally wouldn't choose.
I love this project!
Hugs to all,
Artemis -
I just got a call from the local cancer center, they have run out of the fun fur chemo caps I crochet for them, I guess I will be adding that project to my list of things to do. I will try to work in a few squares with all my other projects. (I can never have just one project going at a time)

Hello Ladies,
My heart is dancing with joy. I don't know how to thank you. I received my BEAUTIFUL hugaghan today. I have been stuck in the house with low blood counts and today as my 10 year old son sat beside me, I lost my first braid. (I had my hair braided for our Christmas vacation and was determined to keep them as long as possible LOL). He looked really concerned as I told him I would lose my hair for the 4th time. I told him not to worry, mommy is doing all she can to keep fighting and be here with him.
We just returned home and I was SHOCKED and pleasantly surprised to have a box from my wonderful sisters in survivorship. It brought me to tears. I had to call my parents and share the news of the gift of love. Thank you so much. I am laying here with the kids, my laptop and my hugaghan. TRULY, I feel the presence of each of you!!!
Please know that your generosity is very much appreciated. I will share a picture shortly!! I immediately had my sister pull out the camera so I can share this special gift of kindness.
Again... THANK YOU for this blessing.

Oh Dana! I'm so excited you got one! I have not been able to contribute as I had originally intended (you know what I've been going through the last few months), but this is certainly on my list of things to do, once life settles down a bit more. And Lord KNOWS I've got plenty of yarn to play along!
