Hollyann, I'm glad Goody received her hugaghan. I couldn't open the link, but I know she was comforted by the gift.
I mailed a hugaghan yesterday. I'll post a picture later today.
I did get some squares from CY's Mom. I also received some squares from Brenda...I love the colors.
Liz, I bordered some squares from Brenda and CY's Mom and I'll put them in the mail to you this week. I did get the box of squares you mailed......thank you..........they are great.
Thanks to all of you.......
hugs from a very wet, soggy Sunday in the South

I love knowing that our boxes of hugs provide comfort and love to all we send them to. I'm hoping to be able to start putting one together this week. I am very busy at work this month, but am planning on bordering while running the board during football games.
Madison, glad you got the box. I'll talk with you later.
MB..... I do need to get that item to you for Tim and Angela. You take the time you need with all you're doing.
Thank you all so very much for all your hard work and support. We couldn't continue this without each of you.
Hugs, Liz

Happy Birthday LIZ!!!!......
Goody oh so glad to see you post, sweet sister!......I have missed you so much!......
-
Liz, a little late - but hope your Birthday was Wonderful. Happy Birthday.
Goody, glad that your afghan arrived and brings you much comfort. They seem to have a way of doing that.

I would like to thank the ladies who directed me to crochet websites to crochet afghans for my sisters. I did start one using the filet square and then making my own pattern as I do not like granny squares. However, once I have the two afghans completed (I have 2 sisters with bc), I would be willing to make squares for anyone else in the sisterhood. I know receiving a prayer shawl from my DD was very comforting during a very stressful time.

OK .. hoping to send out boxes of bordered squares... BUT.. anyone else who wants to border.. I have about ohh a million ..(lol) left from pinkstock that need borders.. I would share ... hehehehe.. saving a box for Barb...
hugs to all... and so glad these arrive at the perfect time...
love you all

Liz...Beautiful as always!.........I still haven't gotten around to finisheing any squares for you......Sheesh!.....I can't seem to finish anything right now!.......
Madison not sure where you are but here in Alpharetta GA it is getting quite chilly.......And tomorrow it is only going to be around 67 for a high.......You can have this weather if you like....I prefer about 72 my self....... -
I actually got a 14 oz skein of verigated yarn this weekend and have been crocheting like crazy. I made 6 squares so far and can probably get another 3 or 4 blocks out of that skein. I forgot my coupon Friday when I went but I got the 40% off coupon from Michaels out of the paper yesterday and may go this week and get a 16 oz ball of 'unlabeled yarn in solid colors' that they have in a bin for 5.99 a lb and with my 40% off coupon it will be less than $4.00 a lb. the skeins are marked as acrylic and since we don't need dye lot numbers it won't matter. I will work on some 'fancy patterns' to do the plain yarn up in. My wrist doesn't hurt too much after crocheting all day yesterday. I didn't get to AC Moore to see what specials they have in their yarn section.

Madison & I along with the help of so many other ladies, continue to make the Hugaghan afghans. We are again asking for recipient names and mailing addresses so we may provide them with a box of hugs.
If you know of someone, please send either of us a PM with their information.
Thanks,
Liz
