OMG sisters..had to log on quick to share!!!
I got a call from Mike (the guy from Monday)..he wants to go out again. Then I got a text from Marlon (last nights date) and he wants to go out again too! what to do?? advice..date both??
omg..when it rains it pours!! I am tickled!!
-
SEE, WE TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Go for it, Lisa. You know if it were a man asking the same question the answer would be.....dah! date them both!! Have fun!!
-
Lisa, Don't put all your eggs in one basket, go ahead and date them both. There is no committment to either one of them stopping you. If something does happen to bloom with one of them, then you can easily drop the other but see if you can still stay friends (just in case). You sound just like a school girl wanting advice from her best friends in the matter of the heart.
Sheila
edited: I called the doctor's office back and the girl in the office said that the clinic has my name and number and they will be calling me next week to schedule me an appointment. It took all week to get this far. My upper arm has quit hurting from over-use of the muscles, my hand just is swelled in spots.
-
LISA HOT ! HOT! HOT! LOL
Yooohooo Karen where are ya sis .... we waiting for you to get back...xx hurry xxx
Sheila I love reading your posts xxxx
I love you all and am with you in spirit ... xx
-
Sue, glad to see you here today before I leave. Hope you and all the wonderful sisters here have a wonderful weekend.
Another note Lisa, make sure that you don't plan both dates on the same day or call the wrong number and call him the wrong name
.
Sheila

Lol! Sheila - good advice to Lisa! And I like what Linda said too! Wow, Lisa - I think that's so exciting and great - 2 gorgeous men to choose from!!
Karen - how did the MRI go? I hope you come back soon and let us know. Hugs to you sweet girl.
-
WOW 2 Days off and so much missed, thank you all for all yourr support - I'll get past this stupid boob envy soo (I HOPE), I never had them before - really (very small B cup),
Jaclyn had her appointment Wednesday and I have her convinced to get a second opinion, they want to do a LEEP procedure on 5/12 to try and get 'better results"?????? LEEP from what I have read is just to treat B9 Abnormal cells, well her path report is Malignant????? So I am confused, her GYN said if they did not get good results this time then it would be hysterectomy and rads at least???????
I had Alexcis Wednesday night and Thursday to give Jaclyn a bit of a break, it was fun - but very busy. Have to share this pic, we don't give Margo table (people food) I went in the house for something, Alexcis is out back with her eating some ice cream - I come back to find this.......
-
How precious Cathi! I donm't know who is cuter!
Hoping the best for Jacki. Hang in there.
-
Cathi, that's a lovely pic! Sweet!
God bless you and your family
-
Oh Cathi! What a priceless picture....definitely a keeper and very printable! It tells the whole story without saying a word. Both of them ! hehehehehe
-
BTW, I think I remember Cathi and Barbe?? talking about bathing suits. Well someone did, I think. Today I was reading an old Oprah Mag and found an article on swimsuits for breast cancer survivors. It's a company called T.H.E. and a website: the-swimwear.com
I have not checked it out but wanted to pass the info along. Hopefully it will be helpful to someone!
-
Thanks Barbe - I don't know if I have told you yet -but love the new pic of you - HOT-CHA-CHA!!!
Well off to bed early, we are putting some things out in the early AM, community wide garge sale weekend, need to get rid of some stuff we don't use to make room for more stuff we will buy and never use - guess I have some cloths to sell -
-
Linda, without even looking, I can tell you T.H.E. probably includes protheses! For some reason it has not occured to any company to make a flat top for larger women. Of course there are small cups and sizes, but those don't fit my broad shoulders. I just cut the foam boobies out to make it flat...sigh.
Thanks Cathi for the feedback!
-
Barbe - The article said they do make protheses. Is that good or bad. Sorry, I am stupid when it comes to these things. I only had a lumpectomy. They also make bathing suits that can be worn with protheses or your own bra. I don't know much else about them.
-
Linda, I don't wear prosthetics (foobies) by choice. So I need a top that will lay flat to my chest without gaping (and giving someone a sight they didn't expect to see!)
-
Thanks for the education. So your kinda like me? I have always been a barely A cup AKA have never had boobs in my life!! I hope I didnt offend you. I don't mean to. Doesn't someone make bathing suits for people who don't wear prosthetics? I need to google now....
Sorry Barbe, I was just trying to help.
-
Not a problem Linda! Any help is good....
-
I've been googling and can't believe I can't find anything for ladies who choose no reconstruction! I'm appauled! We need to start out own company and make swim suits and anything you need! What about dresses, shirts! Ugh!! I'm so sorry that nobody has done this What a shame! I'm so sorry if I brough up a bad subject, I just had no idea you could not get proper clothing that you need.

Hello everyone!
So good to see you all here. Now , please don't be offended if I don't remember to respond to someones post. I love you all , and you are all in my daily prayers.
First , Wren , did you steal my "Charlie Brown cloud"?
When it rains it pours , and Wren you have been soaked!! With all this , and you still are optimistic! You are such a kind soul. And what a wonderful DH you have! He really loves you. That tattoo is proof! I love to here a husband do something for there wives , that the would never normally do. Sounds like a keeper to me. I glad to hear you are feeling better. Its sounds like you were in a lot of pain and discomfort. I LOVE red hair. But howdy dudy red , not so much! But it sounds very pretty now. I love strawberry blonde. Wish I could wear it well. I think as young girls , we have pinker nipples , as we age, have children , hormone changes , they get darker and more brown. So If yours are red , thats just a darker pink.Think of yourself as very young!!lol
I sure hope your daughter is OK. That sounds so scary. Hugs to her. She is in my prayers. Well , again , kudoos to your hubby. Its a wonderful thing you get to look at that tat , and know , without him saying a word , how much he loves you and how much you mean to him.xxxx
Hi Cheryl , I was just wondering how you were doing. Haven't seen you post in a while. Sorry chemo sucks so much. And a cold on top of it. We are all walking with you on the yellow brick road. You will make it! And we are always here for you. I'm not sure about other threads , but we have always been able to come here and vent our hearts out! No one judges you , or gives you a "private pm" telling you how you should feel or not feel. So please , if there is something you would like to vent , get off your chest , discuss , or just need to know someone is listening and cares , please do. Feelings of abprehension , scared , mad , sad , we all can relate sometime or another. I am a pretty optimistic person. But there have been times when I am mad , sad , depressed , and I have come here , and these ladies are always here for me. And we will be for you too! Hope your cold and pain lessen , and you start feeling better soon. Love you Cheryl.xxxx
Uncle Bill!
! Soooo good to see you here! You made my day! You just keep on doin' the chemo UB. I know it SUCKS , but it will beat bootface back into oblivion and make many tomorrows for you and AE. I know nine yrs is a long time. But 30 more yrs. with AE and knowing all of us
is worth it! And as you are there for AE , she is there for you in this rough time. Believe me , it is definately worth it! You two rock! And number one on my wish list is for all of us to get together. Just think of all the great stories from you , Lisa , and me alone about "the good ole party days! We can compare black outs and how many brain cells we actually fried!lol
For now , you just rest and focus on one day at a time. God loves you , AE loves you , Dilbert loves you , and all of us love you. xxxx
Hi Lisa!!!! Wow! Look at you! You go girlfriend. You got them lining up! I shall varcariously , live through you. lol Honeygirl , let me tell you something , as I have said before , I have met you. You are a beautiful woman. Inside and out. If they don't call , let them fall! No second date? Leave'em at the gate! Believe me , if they are not interested , then they are not all about what you are looking for in a man. NEVER , for one instant think , its because of you. And I think you are going at dating in a good mind set. Because you are leaving all options open , if they don't call , you are moving on , and I think that is what you have to do , in order to find Mr. Right. I must say , I have a good feeling about Marlon. I hope you have fun on your next date with him.
Hope you are feeling better. I'll tell ya , I have had so many more pains since I started tamox.. I know it has put me into chemical menopause. That and the damage from chemo , I ache alot. Hang in there. If we don't make it to ninety , we do know what it feels like!lol Sorry , sick humor , I go there once in a while. Love you Lisa , oh , and yes , you better share all the juicy details like Barb said!xxxx
Hi Sue
! Sorry you're feel like $hit. It seems like we are all feeling a lot of aches and pains. Thank you chemo! Remember , thanks to chemo , our bodies have "aged" more than they sould have at this point in our lives. So the aches and pain will be with us.
I loved your pics on facebook! You are such a sweetheart , I know those employees love having you as a boss. I just wish your company was more accomodating to you. When you finally have had enough , and you move on , they will surely miss you!
How are the boys doing? I hope they are fine and doing well. Hope you did take the day off. And are feeling better. Love you Sue.xxxx
Hi Sheila , So sorry to hear of your swelling. I hope it is not Ly. I can't believe all you are having to go through to get an appt! Man. I hope they can get you in soon. You sound like you have a great hubby too. Hope you are feeling better soon.xxxx
Hi Barbe! Hope all is well with you. Would love to be your friend on FB. Hope I can find you!
Don't let a rotten apple spoil it for you here. This really is an awsome place , and the ladies here are awesome. Its a rough road for all. Some more than others. What ever happened , I hope you will always come here. You are a fun and loving sister. I appeciate you alot! Laughter is the best medicine! Love you Barbe. xxxx
Hi Jane , I hope you are all cuddly , and cosely with little Blossom and your hot water bottle! Sounds like you had a busy Easter. Hope it was a good one. Have you done any drawings lately or are you to busy with the house? You need to get some "me time". Take care , love to you and your family.xxxx
Love you my down under friend.
Hi Cathi , how are you honey? I didn't see a post from you about your daughters path report. Did she get it yet? Praying for a good path report.Love the pics. No wonder Ed loves you sooo much, you are one beautiful chicka! Inside and out! Hows little Margo doing? More pics please! Love you Cathi.xxxxx
Hi Makraz! I will post more pics on FB soon. How are the boys doing? They are so cute. You have such a beautiful family. Hope you are having a good start to the weekend. xxxx
Hi Judie! Connor is such a sweetheart. But I know what a handful that age can be. I always had my son "wind down" with a good book. I think the act of reading to them helps them calm down for a good nights sleep. And a "routine schedule". And why am I saying this to you... Not like you haven't done this before!
How are you feeling? Sounds like you had an awesome Easter. So glad. Have fun building presious memories with Connor. Love you Judie.xxxx
To all my sisters here , love you , and have a great weekend. xxxx Mel
-
Mel - how creative and thoughtful of you! You rock girlffiend!! I hope you are feeling better today and got to enjoy some of this awesome weather. I'm sure it made it into the 60's in NH too! My DH and I were going to go for a (Harley) ride after work but my DS, 10, had a meltdown so we played basketball with him instead. I so wanted to go for a ride, but parenthood interrupted! I hope you ae having a good night.
-
Thanks Makraz!! My aches and pain have actually felt better tonight. Thanks for asking.
Wow , "ten yr. old melt downs" haven't experienced that in a while! But sure do remember those. Don't worry , tomorrow will be a great day for a harley ride. Your a good mom and dad to know he needed your attention. I am having a good night , hope you are too.
-
Linda -Thanks for the site info I'll check it out, I have foobs, but 99% of the time don't/can't wear them, like Barbe said, flat tops are hard to come by - (big or small - broad or narrow shouldered) I am searching high and low, for something that is somewhat attractive and comfortable, I can't quite describe my chest, of coarse it is flat but on my left side (rads side) I have healed poorly, it does not look awful but it is what I call concaved (dented some), so I always want something cut a bit higher, I truly didn't think it would be this hard, oh well thats life.
Mel your the BOMB - XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX Feel better.
-
Mel, I know it was the right thing to do but I still want to go for a ride. Wahhhhhh, I feel like a 10 year old!! Not really, I feel like a 63 year old but I'm only 43! It's been a really long week, teenage son giving me a run for my money! BIL needing help with an addiction, I can only stretch so far! Thank God DH and I are solid, otherwise, who knows!
So glad you are feeling better tonight. Any news about the fires? I think I told you I rent a cabin for 2 weeks every summer on Squam and I would be devestated if they ever burned. My boys love to go to Meredith!
-
Makraz , so totally know what you mean about feeling like a 63 yr. old but are only 43! It really sucks doesn't it? But hey , we look great for 63 and 71!
Oh those teenage years... But just want to say , it will be gone in a flash. My son is 26. And it really seems like yesterday I was going threw those "challenging times". How you react to him now , will send him a message and he will say to himself one day , "wow , I was really a ____ , and mom and day still cared! And he will remember that when he has children of his own.
Addictions. I know how that goes. From my own to those I love. It is a hard thing to deal with.
Hey , I have an idea. You and hubby need to jump on the bike , right to a spa , and get twin massages! Just what the both of you need. Ahhh, laying on massage tables next to each other. OTHER people doing the massage! What a wonderful treat! Do it!
Makraz , I'm not sure , but I think you have me mixed up with someone else , as to where I live. I live in Northeast Ohio. Not sure about the fires you are talking about.
-
Oh, Honeygirl you are right!! Sorry about that!! It's the other Cindy that I'm confusing you with!! SO sorry. gott go to bed! See you all tomorrow!
-
Thats OK Makraz. I've done that before. Hope Cindy is OK. Good night.
-
Whoo hoo, Lisa! Those men have good taste!!!
My MRI went off without a hitch. Won't have results until the middle of next week.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Love and hugs,
Karen
-
Glad it was no problem Karen....we will wait with you!
Mel...as always so DARN good to see you here!!!!! Let's plan another lunch soon!! xoxo you are too sweet about the dates. But..you know...I am not every man's type of woman, inside or outside..and that's ok...just want to find ONE good one...that truly loves me for who I am.
Thanks ladies about all of your sweet comments..but I think you all may be a little biased about me...after all you are my sisters!!
Cathi...I agree with you mama..she should get a second opinion! Two many questions.
Sheila...I will try and keep the names and dates straight. LOL...I am definately more attracted physically to Marlon. I am just going to take it all in, slow...and listen to my inner voice..something that has never been easy for me to do!
Back to work ladies...enjoy your day!!
Taking my g/f out for her 51st b'day tonight.
xoxo
Lisa
