Cheryl: so sorry, my daughters best friend committed suicide over a year ago. She is still suffering the loss and is in counseling. You are in my prayers. Brenda -
Hugs Cheryl. sorry about your friend saying prayers for the ones left behind and the strength needed to carry on!! -
Thank you for your wonderful prayers and thoughts. My girlfriend voluntarily went into a psychiatric hospital on tuesday. She has realized that she really needs help. That is step one in the process. I am basically her care giver, her two boys are really not much help. Please pray that this works for her.
Hugs to all, Cheryl
P S I wish I was back in Vegas w/ all my Sista's -

Cheryl, I hope you're taking care of YOU in all this. He was your friend too and it seems you went directly into caregiving mode. Wish we lived just a little closer -

Just a quick update to my friends...... I hit a deer coming home from work a week ago. Today my awesome hubby signed the contract for me to get a Jeep Wrangler 4x4 as I have to get up those canyon roads in snow blizzards. It should be here in a couple of weeks.
Of course my car was totaled! I lost the right side of my vehicle all over the interstate. I have back spasms here and there but other than that - all is ok. Hit the deer going around 70 mph. It was dark so I couldn't see it ahead of time to even slow down. I feel so bad for the deer - it was huge buck with a nice rack.
Everything else is as usual. Jazzy has been great and I am still LOVING MY JOB! -
OMYGOSH JANCIE!!! Glad your ok other than the back spasms!! Crazy...Thank GOD!! Congrats on getting the Jeep Wrangler-sounds like it will be beeter on getting you around! HAPPY you have a GRRR-EAT JOB & Lovin it & Jazzy is Great too!!! {{ HUGS &

Hugs Jancie , glad you are OK. The new vehicle will be great I am sure - take care
-
Yikes Jancie, that had to be so scaryCareful if you've never driven a Wrangler, they do take some getting used to...no going 70 for a while unless it's daylight on a straight road!
-
So glad you are okay, mostly. There are easier ways to get a new car, you know...... -
SheChirple, you are tooo funny.
Jancie, so happy you are safe. I hope the back spasms go away soon. Pat and I hit a deer a couple of years ago and that was scary. Happy to hear you love your job and Jazzy is doing great.
Hugs to all. -
hey, everybody: getting ready for next year! Started reconstruction last week. ...should have new cute boobs by time the time we get together! Beatmon -
Beatmom - does that mean you are going to "show and tell" -
Beat - Hope you're healing well. Sending hugs your way! -
Good luck Brenda. Looking forward to seeing them...I mean you...in September -
Good luck, and best wishes for a speedy recovery and nice, young perky ones!
I have one more surgery before we all meet again, next year. Stage II DIEP. Maybe we'll compare results! -
Brenda, I hope you are doing well. Good luck with your reconstruction.
SheChirple, good luck with your DIEP procedure.
Hugs and Prayers all. -
My Stage II is not scheduled yet. I had phase I in May, 2013. My PS, based on his experience, and my complication rate, has suggested 9-12 months between surgeries. Given that I still have one unhealed spot on my incision, I guess he's right. Yes, 7 months later there is still one spot, about the size of a dime. It was actually healed but re-opened due to underwire bra wear. Doh! So, now I'm strictly in sports bras, and binders for the truncal lymphedema. Spanx are my friend.
By Vegas next year I should have had Phase II and be fully healed, ready for tats!
