Saske, yes it is. I like to imagine it is my home away from home. We are arriving on Thursday and Jennifer is coming in early Friday morning. When r u arriving?
Shechirple, we have really enjoyed wyndhamn timeshare and never had a minutes trouble.
Can't wait to meet everyone. You all will have to just tell me where to go and when.....if You can pry off of the slots!
Cleaning my house like a crazy woman. Daughter having a football game party here Saturday while we r there. -
Jancie - this is going to sound nutty, but can I watch you put on your false eyelashes? I have stubby little lashes, but never figured out how to put on the false ones and have been semi-interested in it.
-
Neeners - of course!!! I have found some good tips to make it so much easier.
If you go buy a pair (you can get them at Walmart for $5) I have the glue and I can help you with this.
-
Well it is Vegas time for the 5th reunion of the Ta Ta Sisterhood!!!! So happy it is here. I am almost packed, mani, pedi done, blonde hairs done, credit cards in purse done, cash in hand done and last but not least will pick mom up today. (Can't forget her) We fly out at 7:00 am tomorrow.
Vegas here we come!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see everyone!
Safe travels to all, Hugs

Jancie - went an looked at buying fake eyelashes a couple months ago for an event I had and got so confused (small, medium large, short, long, regular, thick) that I just walked right back out of the store without them. Would love to try them sometime......which to buy?
-
I asked my hubby if he could buy me false eyelashes on the way home from work. I was mostly kidding; I'll pick some up tomorrow after I get my hair done. His main comment was, "this weekend is going to be bananas". I'm excited and nervous! False eyelashes? Cowboy boots? A bunch of pink crap? What in the world is happening to me? Hahaha. I can't wait to meet everyone
Two more sleeps here.
-
Anniese - I buy the ones at Walmart for about $5 per pair. The brand is Salon Perfect. You can see them as far as how long they are - how full they are and you just decide what you want to wear.
This time I got some ColorEnhance Eyelashes so they aren't black but are supposed to enhance my blue eyes. They have some violet color in them.
Do not buy the kind that have adhesive strips. They are too difficult to put on. I use the type that take eyelash adhesive and there is an art to it but once you have it down - simple!!!
I don't buy the packages that have individual 2-3 hairs that you put on - that might be fine if someone else is doing them.
Salon Perfect #33 Black - these are really "full". I might have an extra set that we can put on you.
-
If I have time tonight I'll try to run by Walmart and get two sets and then maybe you can show me and my sister the trick to putting them on correclty! Thanks for the information Jancie!!!
-
How long do they last?
-
Neeners.... Crack me up..... you'll love this group.......... EYELASHES......... lol... too funny. Never thought about it.
OK LADIES.................... Some of us are IN VEGAS NOW............. SOME LEAVE TOMORROW............ SOME THURSDAY.................. Some FRIDAY............ GOD SPEED on all you travels............ Be safe........... and know...............
WE ARE ALMOST HERE......1 sleep for me....
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
whispering in the corner...(I want to learn how to apply eyelashes too! Barely have any left.)
XOXO CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!!! Safe travels all!
-
Sounds like there is a coffee and a wine room. Jancie can start the eyelash room
<--- see what I did there? Vegas is so close EEEEEEE!
-
I had false lashes for dd's wedding, put on by a pro. I'd love to try again too!!!
-
I need major help on putting on false eye lashes!! I could definitely use some tips.
-
I am more than happy to teach a class on fake eyelashes. Yall just buy the ones that do NOT have adhesive strips and I can take care of the rest.
Neeners - if you take care of them you can use them at least 10 times. This means do not apply mascara to the eyelashes and take them off at night using make up remover. If you sleep in them - they get all wonky and you pretty much have to throw them out.
-
Jancie, ya"ll are cracking me up....I just pictured all the ladies with false eyelashes coming in after a night of dancing and drinking...and in the early morning hours....trying to take off the eyelashes...or just wearing them to bed and them getting all wonky...Lol...will miss you...don't get hurt this year...hugs
-
That's if we still eyelashes to take off!! Lol!!
-
Hi Beatmon, we get in at 9:00 on Thursday - if you are going to Gilly's we can probably meet there and arrange for drinks in one of the rooms or poolside time - I know my one cousin wants to do some shopping Friday - she said Ross's was calling her name - don't have those here in Canada. Look forward to meeting you!!
-
Finally I am packed. It is 11 pm - still have to shower and then be up by 6:00 am or maybe 6:30 am. Not going to put on a face as it will be too early in the morning. Have my traveling clothes out and ready to go.
I might have packed too many clothes. Hope my suitcase doesn't weigh too much - I always worry about that.
So excited that I get to see Heymoose and MaMaMoose at the airport tomorrow morning!
-
Saske: we get in Thursday morning also. Probably neither one of us will be able to check in that early.ill pm u my name and number. We will have a car if u want to go to the grocery with us! Is the Ross close? Never saw it. The 2 outlets are pretty close. Beatmon

Guess what? Our pharmacy actually had false eyelashes. Woo hoo! I bought a few extra for any of you sisters who would like to try it. The really funny thing was when I went to pay the cashier asked me if I was a makeup artist. I really rarely wear anything beyond occasional mascara and lip gloss, so that was extra funny.
-
I almost bought some eyelashes today but thought I had a pair at home...turns out I don't so I'd love to take you up on that offer Neeners!!
-
Sure thing!
I'm currently in a cab on the way to the airport. I'm very tired, excited, and slightly nervous. I can't believe a) I'm voluntarily leaving hubby for 5 nights, and b) I'm meeting 50 strangers (but soon to be friends). -
we can't wait to hear how things went!! Please post photos!
-
365 days till TA TA SISTERHOOD 6TH REUNION 2014 ...Mark your Calendars girls-last weekend of September & hope those that didn't make it this year, will be there next year!!! You were all missed!!
Now to get on FB & try to see & collect the photo's that have been posted during the weekend
!!
Take care Chow GOD BLESS
{{HUGS}} XOXO Susie

Could you all move or re-post the photos here!?!?
We want to see and hear stories!
-
I don't think you can post pics from iPad, and i didn't get great ones
Luckily my brain took good ones! It was an amazing trip, my first with this group but definitely not my last. Combo of crazy, loving, silly, funny, moving, beauty and just plain awesome. I'm still glowing from it. (Either that or some weird room I sat in at the spa!)
-
I am back home but came home with bronchitus. Yikes!!! Started the antibiotics right away and am starting to feel somewhat normal.
When I get time I will post more but just wanted to say hi and thanks to everyone who took care of me.
-
Dear Mods, the reunion was wonderful, as always, and we had a great time. There are some of our group who, for professional or personal reasons, do not want pictures of themselves on the internet. However, you will see plenty of stories I am sure...
-
I want Eyelash updates???? :-)
