Man! I love the bathing suit.
-
Arnie, I think I would totally lose it if I heard the bagpipes, saw the candles and all the ladies walking. That would probably be what finally brought me to my knees....
-
I am wih you Barbe, bagpipes make me cry. But yet I love to hear them,
-
I'm with you both! What a sight and sound it must be.
-
Well, I've been to a police funeral, a friend!, where they played Amazing Grace....I will never forget the waves of distress that flowed through my body!
-
Allo!
Hi everyone! Hey there Barbe and Sharron if you are still around! (just read your latest).
I have been trying to catch up, scanned through about 4 pages really quickly. From the looks of it every body on seems to be having quite a positive week.
My hands are wrinkled and stink of cleaner, so I have racked up many "points". I thought I could do a real catch up, been super busy with Family stuff. Kids are off school today and I just heard my DD say " i need a shower now" AKA I am ready to get out of the hot tub (enflatable), so I guess my minutes on the couch with "you all" and.. my Gin and tonic..(hey, I deserve it! and it is diet tonic!) are nearing an end.
Cathi, that suit is georgeous!, now if only I had your legs.. oh well. I did tell the recon surgeons to "keep going" and "donate my thunder thighs" to ladies less fortunate, but alas, no luck..grrrr.
Got to then to my kiddos, I'll check back tonight! Hi Coonie, Faith, Makraz xx everyone.
Mum2tow, heeehaa! re your wonderfully tidy clean house but thanks for clarifying that the thread is not under pressure to close, this is too lovely a place to visit. THANKS FOR CREATING IT, AND POPPING A CUTE LITTLE WHITE PICKET FENCE AROUND IT WITH A WELCOME SIGN ON AN OPEN GATE.. I can see us all there round some big white painted patio, sipping PIMS or iced tea and having such a laugh.. I wish.
Hugs girls, Take care of you all,
And for those that are not having such a peachy time, hang in there. Bestest vibes coming over.
xx Shiny

Barbe,
Have gotten the same feeling when I have heard my DS play Taps at military funerals or other occasions. It sends shivers thru me!

There must have been a delay in my seeing your latest latest posts, soory if I seemded insensitive, but honestly, I didn't see your posts about funerals until after I posted.
Hugs,
Shiny

A line of clothing to Make you and your purse smile!!!!
-
Shiny, step away from the machinery! Sit down and really enjoy you G&T! hehehehe
-
Oh what the heck...what's a little afternoon gin and tonic every once in a while! Enjoy it!!
bagpipes and Amazing Grace- guaranteed to make me cry.
I called the clinical trial nurse and told her I was going to participate in the trial. She was thrilled and I feel better now that I have actually committed myself.
I'm doing laundry. Too pretty outside to actually clean anything.
Cathi- you look wonderful in that suit!!
-
Gawd! I can't help it....
Names for a store:
How 'bout "The Girls are Gone", mastectomy boutique?
OR....OH!!!OH!! I GOT IT!
How about "Hot Pockets"
Or...."Off Balance" instead of New Balance?
Okay...it's early. Still on 2nd cuppa.
Wish it were afty here so I could have a gin & tonic!

Lursa's on a roll! You go girlfriend!
I used to have a quilting store and I called it Sewin' Love. Had it for 4 1/2 years.....
-
Hot Pockets! LOVE IT!!!!
-
Hi Lursa,
Ohhhh am feeling it! hehe. I so rarely drink since treatment, and even before since kiddo enduced sleep diprivation.. I am actually feeling quite tipsy! Anyhooo ladies am taking your advice. Lursa, you can have a virtual one for now, i'll make it for you and have the real thang later!
BTW Lursa, I remember your moan about the lonely black banana.. How about you put this to the kids
Every time they leave a blakc banana in the basket you put it in the freezer, when you have 4 in there, whom ever meets you in the kitchen next has to bake you a banana bread with them!
They will have to eat them to avoid having to bake and if they don't you'll get a nice treat as the banana bread is best with brown frozen bananas (seems to make them a stronger flavour).
ok ok
over and out and back to my GIN!
XX TTFN, weeeee I feel spinny!

We need some people for the "graphic" department- put it all down on paper , and then theres PR, and accounting and on and on - drop the mops ladies theres work to be done -LOL
-
Maybe we should call in the big guns..........
-
TY TexasRose. I'm still cogitating.
Barbi, wish I was more interested in sewing. My Mother-in-Law..well, Mother-X-Law (I still love her!) when she found out I was pregnant with her first Grand Son, bought me 2 patterins and material to make maternity shirts. LORDY! Took me 3 months and she had to take the machine to the repair shop when I was through.
Them was the end of my sewin' days.
TY shiny, for the drink. Can I have another. I haven't had a drink for 6 months! What a great idea about the bananas!
Nearly have used up my post limit again, so I'll be lurking if not posting
xoxo

OH! I'll be in charge of the banana bread! LOL!
-
Oh Lursa, you crack me up! What the heck did you do to the machine? hehehehehehe
I did wall art, not clothing sewing....I'm NOT qualified to sew a collar. When I tried it, I put the sewing machine needle right through my middle finger/nail! I had to go to the ER and get it taken out. The needles to freeze my finger were worse than the sewing machine needle!

Afternoon all. Been under the weather and haven't checked in - I had three pages to read! I don't know what is wrong with me. I seemed to be feeling better Saturday. Sunday went to cousin's son's First Holy Communion felt fine. Went to his house for lunch and bam! sick again.
