Arnie Jr. glad to see you can dish and take getting ribbed with the best of us. You're gonna fit in just fine here.
Although I hate to take the mom away from Mrs. Arnie, especially after all those 9 months of morning sickness, stretch marks, the terrible two period, the "oh mom, rolling the eyes teen years", the "you can't date, you just got out of diapers" years, the "you want to do what" times. No, no there's just too much connected to that three letter word, so how about something like "bio mom" for arnie and I'll just be mom.
Coonie, know what you mean about getting so much more done offline but then when I do that I miss everyone. Anyway we missed you alot and are glad you found your way back to us.

I was so tired yesterday, I had to leave work early. I couldn''t figure out what was wrong. I tire easily but not like that. I came home and went right to bed. I fell sound asleep. I got up about 8 PM to feed the dogs and take my night time meds. I use one of those organizers to sort my meds. It holds a week's worth - AM and PM. Well, it looks like I took my PM meds yesterday AM. No wonder I couldn't stay awake. However, in addition to sleeping all day yesterday, I still slept all night and didn't get up until 9 this morning. So far today, I've done a load of laundry, gone grocery shopping and to the post office, made a macaroni salad, broke down a bunch of boxes for recycling and loaded the dishwasher. Now, I'm ready for a nap. Can you believe it?
-
I can Jane! I've never had so little energy in all my life! The nurses keep telling me it's the chemo.. so rest when you need to or can sweetie
((((((hugs))))))) janet

Jane just pace yourself sweetie.....Even though I didn't do chemo, the sugeries and the SE's from the AI I am on just wears me out if I don't pace myself.....
KAK OMG! You are a photobucket genious!.......
Dreamwriter you shouldn't have to make your bed!.....Make that nurse do it for you...She works for you you know.........Glad to see you here by the way.....

Hope you all have a great afternoon...I amgoing to have a salad and watch tv for awhile.......

-
Jane how awful for you on the meds mix up. How dangerous that was driving like that and so glad you made it back home safe and sound. No wonder you felt bad. (((hugs))))
Hollyann that is quite a bike ride you had. I just found out they are starting a biking trail in our neighborhood that will eventually join up to a park that is near to us. I may have to start riding myself.
Julz, thanks for the song but how did you get the link to it here?
-
Yikes Jane.Glad everything is ok and you got some good sleep time. I have never been good with taking meds. Either forget altogether or think I've already taken them when I haven't so I write everything down. I do this even with my kids meds.cause I'm terrified I will over medicate them. Can't blame this on chemo brain cause I've had this problem my whole life.
Hollyann 16 miles is GREAT! My sister and I have started walking again and we were bragging about walking 3 miles. We are such slackers though we have to stop all along the way to watch the squirrels and pet dogs and pick up rocks or pretty leaves. Course we have my two girls and her grandson tagging along.
We went to a b-day party for my 2 year old nephew today. Kids had a ball playing with all the cousins. Amazing how fast they seem to grow when you don't see them everyday.
It rained here last night and my son and I sat out and watched the lightening show. Absolutely breath taking. Been a long time since we really had rain and the smell and the cool air was awesome.
Well laundry is calling my name guess I should answer. Night ladies.
-
Had such a terrific day, here, too.
Had such fun w/my camera. We went and toured a winery & had fun with their hospitality of wine tasting. Since it's cherry season we got a bottle of sparkling cherry wine. It was delicious.
I did a couple loads of laundry -- so that's worth a few points, isn't it??
Oh and Lucy!! Congrats on the bike riding. I'm now up to 465 miles -- so I've got a head start on ya, but I'll feel ya breathing down my neck and ride a little faster. It's a great activity to do together. I usually end up riding by myself. You beat me today, cuz I only rode 12.5 miles.
Hugs to each and all.
xx00xx00xx

Faith is that 465 a year, a day, or a month? I could do it if it were yearly.
Morning bkc.
Omelets for everyone.
-
Tea anyone?
-
Deb hope you are up and better soon. We're missing you.
-
I love omelets!....
Faithie, I am going to try to do 40 next weekend if I can get my huby to do the Silver Comet Trail .....I have been trying ot get him out there for the longest.......I got a load of laundry done this morning and am going to dust in a few..........I have been awake since 5 am........
Jane OMG! You are so lucky you made it home safely......I remember when I was taking Ambien I accidently took one in the morning like that......Scary stuff!.....My daughter told me after I started taking AmbienCR that i would drive her to the store and to her friends and not remember doing this.......Needless to say I don't take Ambien or AmbienCR anymore.....
Well must be off to do some more work.......I really need to vacuum too........
Oh and the pain I was having the other day is slowly fading...Hubby thinks I have been crocheting too much because I had the same pain before from too much crocheting........I hope he is right......Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts to help in my healing.......I love you guys so much...bbl
-

Was at church last night (we go on saturday nights since the sunday services are packed) anyway during the service there was such a sweet time of worship to the Lord and I prayed for as many of you as I could remember from this thread.
-
Thank you, mom2, Now i know why I slept so good....
bck, YES lawnmowers do come in boxes!~........Buy one from Sears and tell them not to assemble it....They charge assembly fees anyway so why not just save a few bucks and get more cleaning done in the process...........
Debbie
Hope you feel better real soon!........

Deb is fighting a bout of early pneumonia so keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Lets post some pics to cheer her today.
hoping you "lick" that yucky pneumonia soon Deb.
-
Arnie I didn't mean to diss anybody...I was being facesious about the trailor thing.......My brother and sister both have beautiful trailors big as a house but we all in our family still do trailor jokes......And yes I am a redneck Arnie!.........Born and raised in Eastern Kentucky in the hills!.....Don't miss them one bit either....LOL Call me Arnie...I miss talking to you......
Debbie hope you get well soon and lick that pew-moanie right out of you!.......My great nephew just had a bad bout with it and it sucks having that in the summer!......
-
You girls are so funny.
Hollyann they don't call them trailers anymore unless you have an old one and elected to keep the wheels or you happen to be a weather man. You know they never say yep that ole tornado came along and ripped up a whole block of brick homes. It's always a whole trailer park was taken out, just like the tornado was looking for trailers. I work in the manufactured home industry ( the politically correct wording) and we build homes that would put some sight built homes to shame. But we still make the trailer jokes to.
Barb, no we watch the storm from our covered deck. I love storms and you just don't get the full rush of the storm sitting in a safe garage. My DH thinks I'm nuts and says I don't know when to come in out of the rain but I love it.
-
I cleaned yeaterday and now house disorganized again. When grands are here it happens. lol
Tomorrow chemo so I need to do what I want be able to do this week. Oh well it will still be here waiting and waiting. lol
I live in a nice doublewide and happy with it. No offense Holly.
Susan
