Kak, I could see that was you in the background but wondered how you did that little trick too. At least I think that's you in the background.

    nighty night all.

I haven't posted for a few days.. had major setback re Special educational needs tribunal.. the flipping judge got her paragraphs wrong and her facts wrongs3x in her ruling. So now, after a 20 minutes meldown from moi yesterday on realizing what she had done, clearly with very little care or attention and at the cost of my health and my little boys expense, not to mention to actual EXPENSE of the tribunal, she goes and gets loads wrong! eg: "explains why she upholds or refutes arguments then quotes the wrong bits of the doc to delete or include in the special needs statement..(which is legally binding) until I got through... channels possible 2 nd tier tribunal other hearing, ohhh who knows. give me strenght!

Anyhoooo, I have calmed down, but needed one of my old anti emetics to get me to sleep yesterday. Thinking straight again, and positive again, no sense letting the judge beat me, although she is costing me my energy which I would love to shower on my kids. Enough of that, For the record, I am trying to keep up with housework. I do cook clean, tidy (what I can) daily, but never seem to get past the basics due to the above and related issues.

Regardless, do feel blessed, grateful and fortunate for all the abundance of good in my life, you ladies included of course! Despite pain fatigue and endless challenges, it IS  a fantastic terrific priviledge to have my life and I do cherish it. Amen.

Huggs and love to all. thinking of you girls.

    Things Hugs Can Do

It's wondrous what a hug can do,
A hug can cheer you when you're blue.
A hug can say, "I love You so,"
Or, "Gee, I hate to see you go."
A hug is "Welcome back again!"
And "Great to see you!" or
    "Where've you been?"

    Fun Bear

A hug can soothe a small child's pain,
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug!  There's just no doubt about it ...
We scarcely could survive without it!

A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why God gave us arms.

Aw, MOM!!! The picture of the little girl pouting just about killed me! Too cute! Ok, from now on to avoid any confusion I will refer to my mother as Arnie and you I will call Mom :)

Makraz...I know, I have serious issues. I want a clean house so badly that I am willing to overwork myself day in and day out to achieve something that is impossible... this is one of the many reasons that I joined this Housework Support Group. Ok... I think I am ready to take the first step... ahem.... My name is Jamie, and I am a Clean-a-holic! There, I feel better already. lol hahaha

To everyone else...  I don't really understand what the deal was with Mom and Arnie today, but this is what I did...

Ladies I have found the secret to getting a clean house without lifting a finger!!!!!!!

Buy a new gadget (in this case a new flat screen TV) and tell DH we are NOT opening the box until we declutter. give him a day off and WHAA LAA!!!!! I come home to a clean house and dinner is fixed!!!!!!

He is so very proud of himself and I have nothing to do! We are both happy. Think I'll buy a new mower next week. Can you get that in a box?

To all of those with young children- I learned a hard lesson today. Yesterday while at the dollar store I had purchased one of those toilet bowl cleaners that hangs on the rim of the toilet and cleans with every flush... seemed simple enough, right? Yeah...

Today when I got home from work my babysitter told me that there had been a problem with the toilet... apparently Trent had come out of the bathroom saying that the water was really high and won't go down... when my babysitter tried to plundge it nothing happened. She filled me in and then booked it out of my house... hmmmm

I tried to plundge the toilet myself with no success. My son then informed me that it was "raining" in the basement and that he MAY have flushed something he shouldn't have down the toilet. Great.

Looong story shortened (slightly) the toilet bowl cleaner had "fallen" into the toilet and instead of grabbing it out or getting someone to remove it- he flushed it. I had to call DH home from work to come fix the flood in the upstairs bathroom and in the basement... he actually had to take the toilet out and fish down in the pipes to remove the stupid thing. Yeesh.

Aaannny whoo... small kids and things that hang on the toilet = BIG MESS!!!

WelI yesterday my 3 yr old (almost 4) grandson and I did laundry.  He helped sort by colour, put the detergent in the little drawer and put the money in the appropriate slots.

I had to lift him onto the driers so he could put the money in.   He got lunch with grandma and his aunt.  My daughter and I folded.

I got breathless trying to make my bed.  Got sh*t from hubby and new nurse.

Daughter was made to put the clothes on my bed so I wouldnt have to bend to put them away.

Hey arnie jr, I wonder if you have recourse from the guys who made that thing, unless of course it is an "off-brand" from the $$ store and has no real name on it. That is just too wrong! What kind of idiot men would make something to hang in a toilet that can block and flood a toilet? Doi! And the Darwin Award goes to......
