Well our trip maybe canceled. My MIL's Dog is really sick and she doesn't want us to bring our dogs SOOO we may not get to go after months of waiting to get out of dodge. I just told my DH that he needs to tell the kids (I am not telling them). So if we don't go to Florida we are off to Delaware for however long we feel like it
.
I am going to get kicked out of this group
I did some cleaning today but won't you know the laundry is still not done. I also cleaned a bathroom and then stopped but it smells nice...lol.... So I did my one thing today.
-
Jaimie, you are all set for the next week! Have you read about banking cleaning??
-
LINDA! Here's our weather for the next 7 days..ONLY ONE day with rain, the rest all hot and muggy! ugh

Deb,
Here (above) is my 7 day forcast which actually looks better since we had 22 days of rain so far in June. Can you believe it! I like your weather better! I'm moving south!
-
Ok you two I've got one of those too!
-
The heat wouldn't be bad Linda if the humidity would drop but it's been high too...today there was a smog alert it was so bad...You can't go out and do anything without sweating to death...ugh!
-
Nancy, Harrisonburg is about 2 hours from DC. It is in the Shenandoah Valley.
Deb, I love your dogs. They are beautiful! We had a rotweiler/shephard mix dog named Sirius. Unfortunately, he died right around the time I found out I had cancer. I miss him!
Welcome, Leslie!
Mom, that is probably an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) I hope the pictures they get with it gives you some answers.

Hi ladies,
Gosh have you all been busy. Our central air went out early this week and our AC guy told us we need a whole new system. Could have burnt the house down. So since we don't have $4500 right now I went out and bought 4 window units and had DS and his friend install them. DH is in Utah this week and he called today to see how things were going. Nearly burst my eardrum when I told him what I had done. These things always seem to happen when he is gone and so I just do what I think is best. It has been 101-102 here all week and one night of sweating our buns off was enough. Told him I couldn't decide if I should go to a motel or buy the window units and the window units were cheaper. That calmed him down a bit.
We got home at 6pm today to find someone had broken in through the back door. Don't know if they were scared off or what but they tried to take some electronic equip. left it sitting on the bar along with the toaster. Is that weird or what? What the heck would they want a darn toaster for? Nothing damaged and nothing else taken that we could find except for a few dvds but we are all a little nervous tonight. No sense in calling DH to give him this piece of news and have him worrying to. But I will sure feel safer when he gets home. Police said it looked like they used a pry bar of some sort to get in. Said chances of catching them are pretty slim and they most likely wont come back but we have had alot of break-ins in the area the last few weeks. They think it may be kids. I just know we all feel a little creepy tonight and DS is jumping at every sound. I'm more pissed than anything
I sure hope everyone else is doing ok. Will have to read back to catch up with everyone. Plenty of time sense I doubt I'll sleep much tonight..

Is there room for one more? I am a housework refugee--please give me shelter from vacuum cleaners, mops, dusters and Pine Sol.
Mom--back about June 16 or 17, you mentioned a clip of a grandmother comedian talking about saving anesthesia from childbirth...it sounds like Mrs. Hughes. This link is for "Mrs. Hughes at the Ice House"...she's really funny.

Good nite all! Helen

Trying to catch up on all the day's posts, but my brain is on overload. No housework tomorrow as I go for onco visit and herceptin tx. And since it will be at least 90 degrees, a take out meal sounds good, even McD drive thru with a milk shake to pretend it is "healthy" food...
Today would have been my husband's birthday - he died over 6 years ago. I went to the cemetery last Saturday and put roses for both Father's Day and his birthday. I lit a candle on this website:
www.gratefulness.org and one for everyone on this site. HUGS, Nancy
