Xpectmiracles, I love my boys...these German Shepherds are the smartest most loyal dogs I've ever seen...I used to have dobermans...but have come to the conclusion that they are missing an important part of themselves, their brain!
Ya all sleep well...19 left, 18 after tomorrow.......it's gotta end soon!
-
OMG BKC..that's scary..would hate to have that happen to me!
Estep, just remember you're here, that's what counts the most!
Welcome Gramof3...only 3??? And you do know the rules here right? We only talk about doing housework, you're not allowed to actually do it! LOL.........these girls have more excuses for not doing it then Heinz has catsup!

Nancy - I got my daughter a necklace with the phase of the moon on the day she was born. My computer crapped out and I'm using a loaner, so I don't have the website I got it from (it's in my bookmarks), but you might be able to Google it.
This REALLY is my car (not actually MY car, but the same color, make, model, etc.), except my car also has a sun roof
-
bkc, you don`t think they were after the air conditioners do you?
-
Welcome Helen, I'll have to try that link tomorrow when no one is sleeping. I hope it is her she was so funny.
-
bkc so sorry you had to have all that happen especially when DH was out of town. Not a good time to have to have the windows open either. Hoping you have someone staying with you tonight.
Jayne beautiful car and love the color too.
Deb and Barbe I"m keeping your hours tonight.
Estepp, funny how emotional times like the one year anniversary can be. Mine is coming up soon too and I'm not sure how I feel about it either. Praying for the peace that passes all understanding to fill your heart tomorrow and chase away any anxiety about it.
-
Nancy here's one more rose to add for your hubby from all of us.
-
Bkc - Oh my gosh how scary to have a breakin, and on top of that the A/C down, I know how that feels ours was out with temps at nearly 110 with the humidity, we were able to get by with a freon boost but need a new unit as well VERY SOON - UGH. Stay cool and safe.
Well my wonderful hubby bought a new vacuum after the other caught on fire, darn him -LOL. I don't even know what it is, he gave it the first test drive, so I am good with that for another week.
Off to a business lunch today, not looking forwward to the ride nor sitting around for 2-3 hrs . YUCK
Wishing all a wonderful day - XOXOXOXOXOXO Cathi

But first, BKC........girl that is so scary. I hope the girls weren't around to see that. I bet if they were, they wanted to sleep in your bed. You tell your DH he better get home fast!!!
I'm missing Arnie, Lursa, MaryRose.........and the others in treatment. I hope everyone is doing ok.
Big hugs to all the bunnies today!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning ladies,
Oh we did not sleep well last night. Coonie, the girls did sleep with me last night and my son slept on the couch. He said because the jerks trashed his room but he was up at every noise as was I.
Barb, they didn't even touch the ACs. They ripped my sons computer, dvd, stereo, etc and just trashed his room. Tried to take the microwave and the toaster. They got away with non of these things but had them piled up on the kitchen counter. Did get away with a few dvds and my sons gun that his Grandfather gave him years ago. Didn't even look like they made it to my room. But what they did leave behind was a cell phone! Left it sitting on top of my girls dresser. We heard it going off and it scared the crud out of us all. Went in there with my son carrying a baseball bat and found it. Didn't touch it but called the sheriff and they came back and got it. Officer said they could find out who it belonged to but I was terrified all night that they would come back for it. Sheriff must have been worried to because they were on my street all night and called at 5am to see if everything was ok.
Anyway waiting for the guy to come change out my door now and put new locks on. Guess I will have to call Hubby this morning and let him know what is going on.
Hope you all have a good day and I will check in with you later. Hugs to all who need it.
-
Another one for the "stupid crooks" file...left their cell phone...LOL...Just keep your doors locked bkc, even during the daytime...I keep mine locked even when I'm home...course the two big dogs help me, but still..shame ya have to live in fear, but that's todays times...let us know what goes on, if they catch them, whatever....
(((((((bkc)))))))))
-
bkc how wise you were not to touch that phone! Can you imagine what those robbers faces looked like when they realized they had left that behind.
Just too funny. Hope they make them pay for all the damages and an extra $4,500 for the emotional duress they put your family under.
-

Good to hear Mom!!!! Glad you're doing good...
Hollyann, we all decided to adopt this one guy, here let me type the info up...
His name is Sgt.Daniel Thornhill and he has a Bday soon I think??? He lost both legs and was burned on 56% of his body while fighting for our country in Iraq. He has been at Fischer House for one year and his parents say he has very few visitors or other correspondence and is very depressed.
