-
morning all. welcome to all, hugs and prayers to everyone in need today. Mom is still in hospital but doing well. bad thing is docs believe it IS cancer and are waiting for biposy results of nodes to confirm staging. Seems ok about it too soon to know many details; her 1st goal is to get gastic tube removed and get home.. I'll check in later, off to visit herat hospital in a little bit.
HUGS to everyone
-
-
Ewb give her a hug from all of us here. Big hug for you too. Not the news you wanted I know.
-
Oh...so sorry for everyone going through junk today. Is it a full moon or something?
Elaine!! I must have missed something about your mom. I didn't realize she was in the hospital. And they think it's cancer? Bless your heart......and hers! What happened......was she having symptoms or just some test run? My thoughts and prayers will be with ya'll. Please keep up updated, ok?
Oh......and where is that Arnie? I REALLY miss her. If I had her address, I drive up there and make her get that computer going. I hope she's ok. I know that chemo is kicking her hard. Just hang in there Arnie. I promise......it WILL get better. It may not seem like it now, but it does. You'll be back to playing with Trent and Lilah before you know it......and us too
MaryRose.....hope you're doing ok too. I feel so bad for you ladies going through treatment. It just feels so hopeless at the time, but I promise it gets better. It takes awhile to start feeling like your old self, but you finally do.
Has ANYBODY heard from Lursa? I wish I knew how she was doing. I miss her too.
Thinking of Kathleen today too. I hope she's getting the help she needs in the hospital. Maybe she'll come out a new person.
It's so good to have all the newbies here. You'll have a blast. Just keep chiming in until we've learned who you are. There's a big group, and sometimes we all get pushed out of the circle, but just ease you way back in and say, "Hey.......don't forget about me, I'm here too"!!! We're all here for each other.
Mom.....how is DH's eye today. And your tooth? I hope both of you are feeling better.
It's time for a check in from Shiny too. I hope you're doing good my Shiny girl.
Let's all remember Julz. She's going through a little something with her family and needs our prayers.
Haven't seen KAK in awhile either. She must be busy working and creating beautiful things.
Faith too......riding that bike........to get another half pound off!!!!!!! Great googa mooga Faithie.......girlfriend, you better have some awfully HUGE muscles after all those miles you've clocked......hehe
Linda.......still hot and dry here. Been waiting for the rain and cooler weather from you, so you must not be blowing hard enough. I did get out and plant two crepe myrtle trees before it got so hot. Then I jumped in the pool to cool off. Took me a morning swim.......sure felt good. Can't swim in the afternoons because the water feels like a hot tub!
Sharon.......I guess doggus has you tied to a chair in the basement, huh? Hey, My DH has asked me to ask my out of the country sisters about your health care. Our president is trying to change healthcare in America, and it has some of us worried, and some excited. Since we're self-employed, we have to pay through the nose for coverage, and then it doesn't cover some things. Just wondering how things are in other parts of the world.
OK........I've rambled enough......big hugs and love to all the bunnies!!!
-
Coonie! We were trying to "track" you down too.
-
Gots to give my doggie a bathie which I don't think she's gonna lovie but if it helps her to stop sheddie then I'm gonna be happie.
-
I'm here Mom....I'll be popping in and out. I've got tons to get done today. Inside and outside. Not too much outside because of the heat, so I'll be inside most of the day.
Thinking of you all! Has anyone seen Sharon this morning? She must be really cleaning her house today. I can just see her now with that windex bottle in hand........going from room to room.....squirt and wipe...squirt and wipe...
-
So do I, but know what I'm going to do about it? I'm getting in the car and going to the farmers market to buy some of those big plumpy ripe tomatoes, thats what.
I'll let you know if I see Sharon there.
-
pick some up for me too! My plants are all rotting from the rain!
-
Nancy, thinking about you today... Just wanted you to know,....
-
Morning all,
Very dark and cold and early in the morning here. Have raging headcold and can't sleep so thought I would get up and see what's happening with you guys.
Had a thought yesterday ...maybe the housework fairy needs treats like Santa Claus...so left out milk and chocolate cookies for her.
She still didn't come and I just ate the cookies!!! What's a 10kg weight gain since bc anyway.
Think no housework for me today
Hugs
Viv
-
ROTFL.....that's a good one Viv. I think I'll try that too!! Milk and cookies.......hehe
I'm doing it TONIGHT!!! I'll let you know what happens
-
I am NOT cleaning today.
-
Praise Gawd!!!!
-
Vivvy, hope your head cold goes away. I hate those!
How about we all clean tomorrow??
-
Nope to that Linda. hehehee
-
Well, I'm gonna try what Viv says about the housecleaning fairy. I think that might work, so I'm waiting until it does
-
Sharon, do i have to remind you that tomorrow never comes? Tomorrow, we get to say, let's do it tomorrow!
I think the fairy sounds good to. Send HIM over!
-
Cuz I care about all of you, please read my post titled "Cannot Believe it!" under the comments, suggestions forum..well it should be in the active topics..gotta run to rads, be back later!
Love ya all
-
Oh Linda........it's a "she"......you know "he" fairies DON'T DO HOUSEWORK.......LOL
-
I would think that they would, and do a great job at it!
-
Well, maybe you're right. Here's one....he doesn't look too happy, but that may just be an act.
-
Viv I use to get terrible headcolds but found out about Zicam and now use that although lately they say it causes people to lose their sense of smell. The lady I saw interviewed said it did it the first time she tried it but I have been using it for years now and have been fine. I'm going to keep using it so I don't have to suffer with the things.
I was hoping that little tooth fairy would have my house clean by the time I got back from the farmers market.
Sharon, one day I'm gonna go all the way back and see if I can find any posts where you WERE cleaning Lol.
I think you are our queen of the thread for posting that you aren't cleaning. Of course I could be wrong there might be one or two somewhere.
Gives me a chuckle when you post it anyway. Wouldn't have it any other way either.
-
Deb on my way to read it.
-
BKC - I feel awful for you and your kids. Can't post a pic cause I'm at work, but I'm lobbing some evil Karma at those guys.
-
Do any of you remember any of those REAALLLY LOOONNNG whip antennas? My DH ( who was a DBoyfriend at the time), had one on his car.
When do you all consider it to be your "cancerversary?" Is it when you found the lump? When you had the mammo? When you had the biopsy? or When the doctor said, "It's cancer."?
-
Mom if your dog sheds you gotta do what I do an clip em'
Yup, I clip a beagle mix and a corgi because I was tired of the hair. It makes it easier to clean up after my crew I have 3 dogs. I am joining all of you in thinking that tomorrow will be better for cleaning. I might not be allowed back on the PC you ladies are a bad influence...lol.... but I did take the kids bowling and feed them lunch so I'm not doing too bad.
Gotta concentrate....LAUNDRY.....
-
Now I'm 5 pages behind and I've only taken a day away from the screen......
Hugs and prayers to all in need.

Holy Dust Bunnies !!!! I miss one morning and go off to doctors and herceptin and have 3 pages to catch up on. HUGS for everyone. Thanks for the good thoughts and the beautiful rose. I cannot possibly remember all who are having bad days, pains and other issues of suckiness. Smiles to those who are NOT having them.
I am confirmed with last Herceptin July 16 and port removal July 20. DS will be there to bring me home. I may have to clean my apartment sometime before then so I can PAH TEE and celebrate the end of treatments.
Time for a nap - I was on the road at 7:15 am and am wiped out.
