Jaimieh - I have a Corgi, too. I could brush her 3X a day and still come up with more!
-
Alright Nancy......you're gonna be de-ported!!! Yahoooooooo
That's the greatest feeling in the world. I have mine in a ziploc bag. Everytime I see it, I thank the good Lord above that I made it through that episode of my life!
-
Bulletin, bulletin, news, news,.......I will clean TOMORROW (right Linda?)
-
Darn it Ladies I got my vacuum back today good as new. That means I no longer have a dust bunnie excuse.
-
Sharon.
-
My theory on housework is, if the item doesn't multiply, smell, catch fire, or block the refrigerator door, let it be. No one else cares. Why should you?
Erma Bombeck -
Yeah, you have an excuse - you don't want to get it dirty.
Sharon51, I'll join you and clean tomorrow. My lounger needs me today.
-
I like that one Patoo and I am going to use it.
-
I bought a fur buster brush but can't find where I put it last but interested in how you clip a beagle?

I put a load of laundry in the washer a few days ago. Either someone else put it in the dryer for me, or it is one mildewy mess. I'll check on it tomorrow.
-
DD called me at work today to tell me the washer wasn't working. I told her to call her father. When I came home, I asked him if the washer was working and he said it was. I asked what was wrong with it but he didn't know. He just said it started working after he banged on it a couple of times

Hi ladies,
Just popping in to say hi. My brain is on over load and I couldn't possibly remember everyone so heres a big (((((((Hug))))) for everyone. What a week this has been. My DH goes away for a few days and the sky starts falling. I feel a little like Henny Penny.
Good news today though. Went for my appt with the surgeon and he says my open wound on the chest wall is almost healed. It started about 8 inches long and 3/4 inch deep and it has healed to about 2 1/2 inches and 1/4 inch deep. Said it should be completely healed by mid July. I will be so glad to have that out of the way.
Another good bit of news. The cell phone the jerks left when they robbed our house belongs to a twelve year old boy. The sheriff looked up his mom on his address book and called her and said they wanted to return his phone that they had found. She gave them the address and I guess she was pretty surprised when the sheriff showed up. So was he when she went to wake him up at 11am. Long story short they got our stuff back. Now how long it will be before we actually get it back is anyones guess. They found a bunch of other stuff that these kids had stolen from other people to. As far as they have told me there were 4 boys involved the oldest was 16 and the youngest 11. Can you believe 11 years old? I've tried to think what me and my brothers were doing at that age. And I realize we were doing nothing. My Mom would have beat me half to death if we had ever even thought of stealing anything. And these boys are out committing felonies.
Anyway no house work for me today my sil came and cleaned up everything while I was at work and the Dr. Then she ordered pizza in. I knew my brother did good when he married her. They will be together 24 years this Saturday.Happy Anniversary John and Lynn!

Not that it's much of a help, but I do feel a little better knowing that they were kids and not some toaster-crazed seriel killers waiting for an opportunity. Chances are, you'll be able to sleep safe tonight. Being grounded would have been the least of one of my punishments.
-
Thanks for sharing your good news bkc. Praying for you to continue to heal nicely. I'm like you that at 11-12yo I wasn't even old enough to think of stealing and if the neighbors didn't beat any of us who misbehaved, our parents would - and maybe both neighbors and parents. Back then the whole community did raise the kids.
Jane_M, maybe your DH is on to something. Wonder if I kick my vacuum before I go to bed will I wake up to clean carpets. Okay, have to admit that I did mop my kitchen floor. Got up to get something to drink and the floor was sticky (DS spills but doesn't see it!) so had to mop. Didn't want the rest of the floor to feel left out so, yes, I mopped the whole floor, even moving chairs and throw rugs. Wore me out so I'm going to bed. Nighty, nite!
-
Patoo, you better sleep in late and take tomorrow off from housework.
Nighty nite!
-
Geesh how depressing was the news today? Both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson...although Michaels death was more of a shock....I hope they both Rest in Peace..................
