Good evening dust bunnies (well it is evening here in the UK, probably not where you are). I hope you are all having a good day.
Welcome Jaimieh, Viv & Leslie. It's good to see you here.
The weather here has been warm and sunny the last few days, so Coonie (or any of you dust bunnies) if you fancy coming to visit me this would be a good time
Nick and I went swimming in the outdoor pool again this afternoon. It was quite busy today with lots of young children and their parents. It reminded me of being on holiday and hanging out around the pool. I loved it!
Apart from that I have been doing some work in the garden, which I really enjoy, although it got a bit neglected for a while earlier this year. Yesterday I was working outside until 9.30 pm. I should do some housework but I have managed to avoid it so far.
Tomorrow I have an appointment at the hospital for a fill in my TE. Then I will start chemo on 1st July.
Sending lots of healing vibes to all in need.

Coonie, Love the new avatar. Are you really a racoon??
Leslie, welcome. Now that you are addicted to us, you have an excuse to NOT clean your house. You will be too busy reading and posting here. Enjoy!
-
Linda.......I sent you a PM......but yes, I am full blooded racoon......LOL
Hey Jayne.....I'm glad you're enjoying your time. Boy, the 1st is getting here quick, isn't it? I know you'll be glad to get started so you can get "ended".....
I'd rather work in the yard too than do housework. It's really too hot here now to work outside, and my computer is just too handy for me to do any housework:)
Did you see Shiny for me and give her a hug? hehe
-
Hi Ladies... I just wanted to say my house needs a cleaning and while I sit here at 4pm in the afternoon... still drinking coffee... I doubt it is gonna get done.....
Happy Day to all of you!
Laura
-
Laura, no problem! There's alway tomorrow, or the next day, or never.
-
no joke Linda...no joke!
-
Hey Laura........welcome to the thread if you haven't been here already. If you have, forgive me 'cause my brain doesn't always work right.....LOL.....this is a fun group!
-
Hey Laura good to see you here and Leslie I can tell by your posts that you will fit right in.
Just got back from the doctors with dh, they gave him something for the migraine but it made it worse instead of better.
They are going to schedule him for an MRA what ever that is.
The inlaws are suppose to be coming for dinner tonight but I may have to cancel for his sake. He's sleeping right now so I will see how he feels when he wakes up.
Jayne I have given up on my garden. It took so much work and now everything seems to be dying. This farming stuff is much harder than I thought. Guess I'll just go to the farmers market tomorrow since it doesn't look like there is going to be a crop this year. Good thing I don't do this for a living.

Thanks for the welcome ladies... I am a lurker all over the site.. and a frequent poster on a few... have made some really great friends.. I have lurked here.. and see this is more of a hang out for friends.. I sure like that...
.... thanks for the welcome!
-
Estepp - I think you're just stalking me! Whereever I go you show up sooner or later. So, if I start to clean my house you have to come and lurk here and clean.
-
Okay. Cobwebs. What are cobs? Why do they lurk in corners? Why can't I see them to kill them?
-
I like the idea of cleaning.....tomorrow.
Because as you know tomorrow never comes.
-
How funny patoo... maybe I am a stalker... I have been known to be a little off........Watch out...
However... if you clean.... I still won't .... ROFLOL
-
OK.......yeah.....let's all clean TOMORROW.......haha
then tomorrow.......we can say tomorrow again:) I get it Lori....great idea!
Hey Laura......I think Patoo would love for you to stalk her to her house and get out the cleaning supplies
-
Mom, gentle hugs. I hope this gets sorted out ASAP.
-
Mr. Mom..........get well
-
They also come out when there are only males around because they can't see them.
-
Huh, males also can't see the crap around the sink faucets in the kitchen or the crumbs on the counter....a kind of colour blindness do you think?
-
Thanks for the welcome coonie - I'm not sure I fit here....but love keeping up with all of you and your avoidance of anything related to housework! I posted, not realizing that I had never posted here - and was too busy cleaning to respond to your welcome! We've had ALOT of company a couple weeks ago, and then company for dinner on Sunday - so I was busy on Saturday! Now the cleaning is done and the upkeep can begin! I'm glad to have most of my energy back since surgery, and glad the big cleaning is done, so I can coast for awhile!
My son is slightly color blind - mostly red shades - but I agree that he must have another kind that they don't usually test for! He has trouble seeing leftovers in the fridge to take for lunch, and has actually walked over some things he ask me to get for him! Insists he never saw them!!!!
-
Hi all
Woke up this morning and still the housework fairy didn't come overnight.
Obviously not wishing hard enough
Cheers
Viv
-
That's because she came to my house, took one look and said I'm outta here. Then she went home, put up her feet with a glass of wine and chilled for the day!
-
-
2hands4me WELCOME and welcome to all the other new ladies!!
Mom, Please take care of Mr. Mom, I know you are. I hope the new tests gives you some much needed results.

-
