Amazingly enough, I am still taking my 24 hour pain med, but I am not IN pain (if you know what I mean). I don't want to NOT take my pill cause then I might be in excruiating pain, but it seems all your good wishes worked!

Thanks! Maybe I passed it???? Yell

Great Barb!! I hope you did.  I would continue with the meds if they are making life more manageable.

    Bye, Bye, Mick!!

    Good news about grandson!

Hugs and prayers for anyone in pain, treatment or just down in the dumps!

Funny White Castle story. Pregnant w/dd; it was a hard pregnancy, morning sickness was actually all day sickness for 7-8 months blah!!! I deliverd ds about 3 1/2-4 weeks early so docs expected I would be early w/the 2nd. I help on to that as a lift raft, it kept me going thru all the really icky days. Well, as you can guess, I got to due date and no baby....I was devistated. Ob suggested that I have a few sliders. He said his experience in Chicago was that a few sliders would usually induce that elusive labor! DH was very sweet and offered to drive an hour to get me some(would have been a 2 hr trip). Just couldn'y bring myself to try that. Tongue out

For some reason I'm thinking that White Castle's corporate office is Columbus, OH??

I could be way off base, but we have them ALLLL over the place at home.

Not my personal cup of tea, thanks anywho.

Great to see about your grandson, Deb.

Speaking of 'grands'...... can't remember if I've even said anything on this thread, but our Denver Duo have reached their due date, today, for their #3...... they don't know the sex -- never inquired on the first two, like the surprise. Just received a cryptic message via FB, that maybe today will actually be the day? Of course will let you know.

    Hugs and encouragement to all.

    xx00xx00xx00xx

    Praying for the thread-at-large: check.

Thanks all, at last check he was home eating Sherbert....

I went for a little retail therapy today and remembered why I hate shopping!  Went to 3 different stores and all the same thing, IN THE WOMENS DEPT, low rise jeans...now come on, I ain't obese, but I could stand to lose 20-25lbs, ok maybe 30 but thats beside the point..why on earth would that be the only style jean that they would sell? I don't know about the rest of you but I look horrible in those. Sheesh who wants to dress like a kid? I want to be in style and all but not if I'm going to look bad.........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ok done venting now.........

No White Castle in Texas either...or at least none that I've ever seen. I hope they are better than the ones in the frozen food section. Those are awful!! If I ever see a real one in my travels, I'll have to give it a try. All I remember about the frozen ones is that they were all onions. I like onions, but holy cow!!

And Deb, I'm 47 but I LOVE my low-rise jeans! I'm so short that they are actually the first jeans I ever could wear that fit me right. And having a slightly lower rise is so much more comfortable to me. I do wear long tops with them so no one but me knows they are low rise. Glad the grandson is okay!!

Barbe- I only picked up bits and pieces of this...but you have a stone named Mick (I get it!) and you passed it? Yes, pain meds for you!!

Doing some laundry. That's it for me today. I did go to the grocery store also. That should count for something. Got the chemo runny nose that just won't stop running. Ugh! And someone asked somewhere...think it was here...I am most definitely in the Mr. Clean club now. Hair is gone. I'm learning to live with it. Not well, but what ya gonna do?!

    Hugs to all!!

Sharon, started to send you a pm back and then something came up. Got it and thank you.

Deb I found some great ones that are Gloria Vanderbilt that come to my waist. I hated that low rise phase. Saw more butts than I ever wanted to see.Undecided And who would miss that hiking the pants up that everyone had to do on a continual basis......Good riddance. It did convince me though that 99% of the country has belly fat cause it was plainly visible with those jeans.Tongue out

Thing with me is I'm high waisted, so a pair of those low rise pants uh, politely put, go rite up the crack! LOL..............I think the stores ought to carry both kinds, especially in a womans dept!

UH OH! Sorry Texas about the jean thing, but at least you have the decency to pair them with a top that covers the dreaded crack.  But I see your point that they may be the right fit for some.
