Hey just a quick post.... ((((((((((((hugs to all in need of one))))))))))))))))
They think Mr. Arnie might have a hole in his heart. The test today was a "bubble test" and the Cardiologist thought he saw bubbles the tech didn't...... soooooooooooo they are doing a TEE test in the a.m . They'll go down with a scope via his throat to see the heart close up. Thanks for thinking of us... I love you guys.

So sorry to hear that Arnie, but glad they found it. I hope things go well tomorrow for you both. I will keep you both in my prayers. Hang in there. They are going to take good care of him.
We love you too!
-
Hugs Marnie and Mr. Arnie. Prayers are sent up for concrete diagnosis and plan of action.
-
Lordy, Arnie!! At least they're being thorough & that's good. And hopefully they will have a solution as soon as they have a firm fix on the problem.
-
Hubby took me out for an ice cream sunday at McDonalds tonight and on the way back we switched so I could drive since he offered to run into the store for me for something we needed. On the way back I was talking to him and suddenly a little something caught my eye right in front of the van, I put my brake on to slow down but then heard that awful thump!!! I hit a baby possum!!!! Hubby and I both just groaned and rode home in silence. Wish I hadn't even gone out now. Made it worse it was just a baby one too.
-
Hugs to everyone who needs it Arnie, Mr Arnie, Deb, Mom anyone I forgot
. The girls are sick so have been home with them all day couldn't get an appointment for them until tomorrow so will be home again. I am exhausted. They did nothing but fuss and fight all day. One telling on the other for every little thing. Nothing would satisfy them and they cried for every little thing. I know they are so cranky because they are feeling bad but they are driving me nuts. Finally they are in bed asleep.THANK YOU GOD!!!! I think I need a drink or my DH to come home at least.
-
Praying for you Arnie and Mr Arnie. Hope that all of you have a good nights sleep and tomorrow starts a good day.
-
Hugs and prayerst o Mr and Mrs Arnie...........and one question, how do you stop bad luck? Well actually this is good luck...went and picked up hubby, it's pouring down rain, water laying on the roads...we're on our way home on I275, he's in the fast lane doing 65mph..the truck started hydroplaning, we spun around in a huge circle, crossing over 2 lanes of traffic and spun again before we landed on the side of the expressway...and there were cars coming too! Thank God I didn't have to use the bathroom..As it was, it scared me so bad I couldn't breathe....took a few minutes before I could even breathe!
So let's see, Sunday it was the tree on the fence, the patio table, yesterday it was my car, today this, gee can't wait to see what tomorrow brings............NOT.....I'm staying home!
Hugs
-
Deb, Your angels are working over-time, for sure. Thank heavens you have an active group watching over you. Hope that you're breathing deeply.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Deb))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Mom, sometimes silence is the only antidote for a situation.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Mom)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Arnie, thinking of you during this early morning, hot-flash, wake-up call.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Arnie & Mr. Arnie))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Good morning everyone.
The sun is out, it's 42!! Yikes!
-
Good morning Houseworkers LMAO....... 'houseworkers' ya right!!!!
Glad to hear they are getting to the root of Mr. Arnies health issues. Hugs to Mr. and Mrs. Arnie.
Hydroplaning.......gadzooks........someone was sure watching over your shoulder Deb!
Bkc, hoping the kids are feeling better today!
Mom, it's upsetting when that happens but thankfully you didn't swerve and perhaps cause even more serious problems. Kind of ruined the evening though. Hugs.
Gentle hugs to all and may it be a housework free day!!!
-
Forgot which country this resturant was in but thought you would get a kick out of the sign.
-
I can eat an awful lot in one hour if I head straight for the shrimp and the expensive stuff! I laugh when people do salad, soup and buns at the beginning of a buffet. They're hoping you get full!
Deb, looks like your luck IS turning. Pun intended!
Mom, that breaks my heart too! I hate when I hurt one of God's creatures....
bkc, you're going to need the medication from the doctor, not the kids!
I'll be praying for you both arnie!
Lot of emoticons this morning, not as many words. Very efficient but boring posting! Sorry!
-
After being on a cruise ship for two weeks a person can actually get sick of buffets.
-
Got to go ladies I am off to see my breast surgeon this morning need to book a date to get rid of the other one. Then I will be like you Barbe I do not want any recon either.

Good luck mum! My back and neck are enjoying the weightlessness! The rest of me is enjoying the coolness and not having to wear a brassiere!
-
With you in thoughts Mum.
-
Hey Bunnies!!! It's so good to see all of you........even if you are running over possums (my cousins) and driving sideways down a road in the rain.....Deb!! girl you better stay PUT until your luck changes, huh? Of course, don't stay put near any trees though.........wwhhhheewwww
Mum...it's so good to see you back. Hope you had a wonderful time on your trip. More pictures please!!

MOM......I'm praying for you today too. Sure hope you get some answers soon on your reports. I can imagine how you're feeling. I think I'd want somebody else to look at the slides too.

Good morning ladies. Gosh here I am complaining about the girls waking up at 5am and all of you have so much going on. I should thank my lucky stars that they are healthy over all and pretty darn good kids most of the time.So hugs to all of you.
Coonie that is an excellent idea. Actually I read in the paper about an injured Marine who has no family and is very depressed so the girls and I are planning to send him pictures and a letter today. The girls love to send pictures and get mail. Their NaNa always sends cards and a pink gum and yellow gum (their favorite colors) so they are always looking for NaNa gum.
I cut the girls bangs last night and Felicity said "Mama, I can see you now!!!!" DH came home last night but had to leave again this morning. They all woke me up trying to teach Dad how to play hop scotch this morning.
Started giving Felicity breathing treatments yesterday and she is much better this morning but oh is she being a stinker part of that is the meds though. They got up so early that they should be ready for a long nap about lunch time. Think I may take one to.
Good luck to all of you today.
-
Awwhhh that's a great idea about the Marine!!!! Maybe that will keep them busy for awhile:)
Elaine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending thoughts and prayers with you today!!! PLEASE let us know as soon as you can. Praying for GOOD NEWS!!!!!
I sure hope MaryRose is feeling ok after her last round of chemo. I've been thinking about you MaryRose.....about your hair. Do you still have it, or are you sporting that cute little crew cut about now? If so, just think of how much cooler it is, especially during the summer. I went "bare" around the house and it really felt good. Just thinking about you!!!!!
Arnie!!!!! come let us know when you find out something on Mr. Arnie, ok?
-
Got the call finally two days later. The doctor said let me look, took two seconds and came back with "it was just dcis". Couldn't they just have taken that 2 second look 48 hours ago????? I even asked "no invasive" and he replied just dcis. So its the report that was wrong.
Barbe now I know I need to have my glasses changed cause I couldn't see anything on the sign till you posted then I went back and now I can barely make out what it says.
Linda our visiting grandma is having my little one staying over there at nights and the house is just so quiet with her gone. Then during the day she is at her sports camp so it feel so strange to have all this time without her here. Then the older dd will be off on her trip soon too. Think I'm getting a taste of the empty nest thing.
mumayan I love the buffets getting to get little tastes of everything. That is if the cooks on the crusies are good to begin with.
Sharon and lefty,I don't know about you but I think I'm gonna dive into that nice breakfast that faith has laid out for us. Looks yummy.
Bkc I feel for you on the kiddies being under the weather. The cranky is pretty hard to take but understandable. Its just rotten you have to wait so long to get them in.
Coonie you are always so wonderful at keeping track of everyone. So good seeing you back healthy and on here again.
Now we need to get Arnie and Deb back to posting their amazing pics.
Kak love the car, want to trade it for a mini van.
lovin someone sent me a clip on this standup grandma comedian who made a joke about mothers saving the anesthesia for childbirth for when the kids became teens cause they would need it more then. She was a hoot. Wish I knew her name.
Deb big safe ((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
-
Mom, that's good news about "only" DCIS....but why did the other report say invasive!
You DO need your eyes checked cause that's the second time you've mentioned something like that. Imagine what you're missing!
-
good morning ladies. I have so much to do and I am so tired. See the onc this afternoon and will get scan results. Was trying to explain the DH how tiring scans can be (at least for me) there is so much siting around after drinking goop, or getting injections of glowing stuff, and then having to be so still, which is sooo different than just laying there (I tend to be fidgety when laying down). He trys so hard but just doesn't get it.
We are having HUGE party on Saturday for dh's 50th, ds's 21st and dd's 18th birthdays and dd's graduation from hs. Some time ago I mentioned that I felt like I had lost control of this party and dh & dd turned to me at the same time and said "you never HAD control". The more I thought about it the more I like this- I just have to show up. The three of them have done everything, and thankfully it is not going to be at our house (but my sister & bil will stay with us in addition to a bunch of college and hs kids) so I have to do some basic cleaning. Thankfully my sister and bil don't care so much about the clean house thing--she will most likely want to help. I am so tired right now. I think I will forget the errands for this morning and take a nap.
Hugs and prayers for Arnie & Mr Arnie, MaryRose, bkc (& girls), mumayan, mom, and anyone else I've forgotten. Prayers for good test results, quick recovery, quiet days, peaceful minds.
-
Mom YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT NEWS!!!
-
Good morning! Yesterday I worked, so wasn't on the boards until late. I thought about you all.
Mom, I recommend another opinion on the biopsy.
KAK, I love the picture of you in the car. It reminds me of a trip my husband and I went on about 5 years ago to the Grand Canyon. We rented a red convertable sports car and had a blast! It was like a second honeymoon!
Arnie, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the best news regarding Gary's heart.
BKC, I hope your kids feel better soon. Yes, take a nap when they do. Take care of yourself as well as you do your girls!
Hugs to all!!!
-
bkc..Can you give me the marines name and the addy you write him to? We ought to adopt him as our threads official brother! Everyone could write him.........bet that would make him happy!
-
Ok so now I am wondering if I've taken this computer time too extremes. Our very gentle natured italian greyhound mixed dog Sophie has just come over to me sitting here on the computer and started doing that pathetic puppy whine and looking at me with those sad eyes. She is usually only does that if she needs a potty break or to eat and since those were already carried out I was wondering but then she jumps up on the bed and takes her lets play stance. So she does this pretend growl and bark and starts running around in circles on the bed egging me on to play a game with her. Now this is the second or third time she has done this. I'm pretty impressed she is learning to communicate so well. She is turning me into a pet lover. Wish I could get a video of her doing that. Now she is just lying on the bed with her paws extended by her face and looking straight at me with that look that dog on Sharon's avatar has. Too cute. And to think I was the one not wanting the kids to get a pet!

Great idea Deb about the marine Deb.
