I bet he gets rid of mice - he's got the tools to do it. Large sword etc. I'll speak to him when he next comes around. This guy George sounds intriguing too. I bet he'd be really glad to coem and do your dusting and stuff.
I forgot to mention, also he brings mocha cake.
-
Hmmm...Johnny makes me a little nervous...can you ask him for references?
-
Mocha cake???? Sign me up!
-
Crikey MizSissy - I didn't think of references. He wields a mean duster but hey - you can't be too careful can you. I will ask him to show me his credentials next week.
Mocha cake distributing now via virtual mocha - mail...........
-
Hey I'll take Johnny Depp but I might not give him back....I love his movies.
KAK take the car for a test drive. It would be fun. When I went to Hawaii I rented a mustang convertable for a day it was great.
MOM.....hope things get straightened out with the test results.
Coonie so glad you are felling better and are back with us.
Shiney make sure you rest up from the jet lag. (HUGS)
And (((HUGS))) to all those who need it that I have missed.

WOW!! I found it. I found us.
When they put the site down for maintenance this thread got relegated back about 10 pages.
I was determined.
Good thing, cuz now we have Johnny Dep to attend to details.
London-Virginia, don't think we've met, but I sure like the way you think!!! Welcome. (If you've been here forever, and are just back after a long abscence then welcome back. LOL)
Swiss cheese for brains, now more than ever.
((((((((((((((((((((((((EWB))))))))))))))))))))))))

Lursa and Mary and so many others, that need hugs (((((((((((((((((((((dust bunnies)))))))))))))))))))

Just getting a little me time for the moment. The mammography clinic called earlier to say they had talked to the surgeons nurse (ie nurse Donna ) and they said they would "take care of it". When I asked her what that meant she wasn't sure. Great, that gives me confidence. Kind of like "we'll take care of it, anyone got an extra bottle of white out or we'll take care of it you only have dcis and we just got mixed up on the invasive part....".) Think I will have to ask for my slides to be sent elsewhere, have lost my trust in this group.
Enough about me, I am thinking of all of you too that are going through the mill. These rough times come but its good to know the gang is here pulling for each of us.
kmc, we know you can't type alot yet but I hope your arm is not too painful. I never understood about how bad injuries could be till my daughter broke her ankle one time and I watched it change colors and swell and all.
Barbe the treatment might be the same but if there is any invasion even microscopically the staging goes from 0 to 1. Dcis there is virtually no risk of mets, stage 1 not likely but always a risk. Just want to know what I am dealing with.
London so loved the story out of the blue like that. I am totally not a fan of Mr. Depp but for some reason just the way you weaved your story was like being a child getting the thrill of hearing a fairy tale for the first time. I think you must be an author or if not should be one.
Have been on the run all day so I am worn out and going to head to bed for a little nap.(((((((hugs to all))))))))
-
Mom, gentle hugs back to you. Praying it all turns out ok.
-
This was my effort at dinner tonight. It did involve turning on the oven and opening the box.
-
Jane, a girl after my own heart. Looks good to me. Bon appetit.
-
hello faith - nice to meet you. I keep getting a bit muddles on jumping threads too.
Sorry about your test hassles mom - completely nerve wracking for you.
LMDuncan, you'll have to wait till Makras has had him over I'm afraid!
gentle hugs to all -
-
Yikes Faith! Don't you use the "Favorite Topics" option?
Mom, that DOES make a difference! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{ mom }}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I join in your concern!
I DID WINDOWS TODAY! Sorry, got a bit excited, but I have two walkouts in my livingroom and finally cleaned the windows. They look so good! I done good
-
Hey there. Nothing for me today except a grumpy kid, moody and hormonal also!!
-
I use favorites and my stuff is all mixed up. This was at the bottom of my list and said no one had posted since Feb 1, 2009. Very strange.
-
Does anyone have a cup of energy I can borrow? Geez I'm wore out..Took him to work, went to Rads, got there early so had to sit an hour before I got my rads! BUT these nice women changed my appt time for tomorrow and Thurs to 10am so I can just use his truck in the morning and go, come home and he can drive himself to work. They even made the doc see me today so I wouldn't get out late Thurs when I normally see her..Then stopped at the grocery...came home, made my bed, cleaned the bathroom and I stilll have dishes in the sink! Still gotta do a net tonite, take my brother in laws chain saw back, wash clothes and go pick him up at 10:30! And then cook dinner! Someone save me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
-
Feb 1, ahhahahahahhaha, we couldn't possibly be quiet for THAT long! hehehehehhe
weird....
-
Wanting to know how Mr. arnie did today!!!! Anyone hear?
Elaine, glad to know you get the whole CT before your appointment. Let us know tomorrow please, I'll have all my parts crossed for you!
-
Deb here is my suggestion for dinner tonight.
-
Hugs Mom, thinking of you!
-
Thanks everyone, I'm handling it better today. Have even quit carrying my phone around with me. Yesterday (when I thought someone might actually call me back) I was even trying to vacuum with the phone in my hand.
)
-
Just worried that next time Johnny might show up with a really kool yellow and purple jock strap he knitted himself that wants you to show you...after he bakes the mocha cake, or cookies...or whatever!! What a line about the hoover!
-
Mom ya think that %^&*@! would say Honey I know you're wore out, we'll just stop and get somethng but nooooooooooooooooo, I gotta cook! I ought to stage a sit in..............
-
Just not fair Deb! Tell him he better take you out or else he's gonna have to deal with a hornets nest full of mad dust bunnies. Not just plain mad, but missing boob mad.......oooh scary!
-
{{{{{{{{{{{ Deb }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
{{{{{{{{{{{ Mom }}}}}}}}}}}}}
Arnie, where are you! I'm getting worried.....
-
I tried sending her a pm too Barbe. Hope we hear soon.
-
Here Deb.........try this
-
I PM'd Lursa last week and haven't heard back. Some people don't realize when there is a PM so I'm not TOO worried......
-
I wonder where Lursa is. Hope she is OK.
I painted mykitchen walls this morning. That's housework, right? I either had to clean the walls or paint them.
-
London, I admit I AM a fan of Johnny Depp and if he showed up at my door, I'm not too sure I would have been focussed on the vacuuming...
(((((((mom)))))))) I agree. I wouldn't be feeling a lot of confidence in that group right now either. I had a not dissimilar experience with my former med onc, emphasis on the former.
Deb, I felt tired just reading about what you had to do today! I like mom's offer & I will gladly join in to teach your DH ('D' can stand for any number of adjectives besides 'dear,' by the way. I'm just saying....) a thing or two about how to treat someone who is being treated for cancer. And I myself wield a mean rolling pin!!!
Coonie & Lori, I didn't get to take the Sky for a test drive -- started RAINING again -- #$*&%@!!!!!! AND, when I took my car to the body shop to have the front bumper replaced from where a car smacked into it 6 weeks ago, I discovered that someone smacked the rear bumper sometime last night or this morning, evidently when it was parked during one of my many errands or patient visits. So I had to file ANOTHER collision claim on my new car!!!! At least it was already AT the body shop, and I already HAD a rental car to use while it's being fixed. Crikey. But, thanks to Photoshop, I did manage to capture a photo of me tooling down the road in a brand new, specially decorated Sky. And Deb, I'd be glad to take you for a spin in it to your next rads appointment.
