Good morning bunnies! I've got my coffee cup and reading your posts.

Unfortunately, we will be cleaning up clutter in the house today. We have a maid service come clean every 2 weeks for us. That's basically the ONLY time it gets cleaned. When my boys were young I stayed at home with them. When they were old enough I went to work full time. The only thing I splurged on with the extra income was maid service!

That sounds like a wonderful splurge Cheryl!!! It sure takes the pressure off, huh?

Don't work too hard today........you'll put us all to shame......LOL

Good morning Y'all.  I am in northern Virginia, but south of the Mason Dixon Line.   Half the people around here have that good ole suthern drawwwwllll.   It seems appropriate for a warm sunny Sunday morning.

I shredded some more junk mail and papers that don't need to be saved.  Gonna use the shreds to stuff some Dammit Dolls. Using the sewing machine is fun, not work for me, unless I am trying to repair something I really want to "save".

I always have the coffee pot on in the early morn.  A piece of left over key lime pie would go good about now...    HUGS,   Nancy

    Good morning ladies,

I had to work until 7pm yesterday so today is my day off. Think I will do absolutely nothing except maybe fill the kiddy pool and let the girls swim. DH left this morning for Mississippi and will be gone a few days and DS goes back to work in the morning so it will be just me and the girls again this week. Felicity cried crocodile tears when her Daddy left this morning and will do the same when Bubba leaves in the morning. She is so sentimental lately.

We had the scare of our lives this morning. The girls were watching cartoons and my DH was packing and I was in the bedroom talking to him when the electricity started going off one room at a time.We ran from the bedroom and found Felicity on her chair at the breaker panel with a screwdriver turning off one breaker at a time. She saw her Daddy replace a breaker the other day and was trying to do the same thing.DH went and bought and installed a childproof latch on it before he left so I will most likely have to call someone if I need to get in there for anything but at least the girls will be safe. Boy they can sure get into things fast. I had just walked thru the living room and she was laying on the floor watching toons.

A clean house is a sign of a broken computer!

BARBE:  I would never forget all my Canadian friends - it was evidentally to early in the morning which is no excuse.  I am going to have to give myself a time-out!

COONIE:  Its already 10 in the morning and no pictures posted - what's up with thay?

ARNIE: I hear you not only had health problems but so did your poor DH.  I am so sorry.  Big hugs.

LUCY:  I am going to call you today or tomorrow.  I appreciate your call - there were just so many people in the house at the time I couldn't hear you.

MOM:  I could eat all of those doughnuts myself.  Is it first come first served or do we share?

SHARON:  Good morning sweetie,  Up and 'attum."  You have a whole lot of house work to ignore today - you know that stuff does not not get done by itself!

DEB:  Same for you - get yourself a cup of coffee and let the procrastnation begin!

Hey Nancy!!!! I like your southern accent too!! It's so strange, but when we travel, people ask me about my "accent". I never considered my slow talking an accent, but I guess it's different for some people. Anyhow........I can't change it, so I guess I'll live with it another 46 years.....hehe

BKC!!!! You've got yourself a little electrician on your hands!!! I can't believe that. Is there a way to put a padlock or something on the breaker box? It's amazing what kids pick up on. Tell Felicity and Porshalin I posted a cute puppy on the "cute" thread. I think about them........and Cameo!!

Kathleen!!!!!!!!!! I automatically smile when I see your cute avatar!!! It's so good to see you're posting "longer" sentences now. Is that a sign your shoulder is feeling better? I sure hope so. How long does it take to completely heal a rebuilt shoulder anyway?? big hugs to you today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hubby installed a safety latch supposed to be child proof which means I will need to ask one of the kids to open it if I ever need in there.

An easier solution is locking up the tools.  We had to do that when DS decided he would fill in for Daddy when he was out of town on business.   Then Grandma decided a "tool box" just for DS was a good birthday gift... A child's hammer can do a LOT of damage...

Coonie, I am from Pittsburgh and have been told I have an "accent".   Every once in a while I pick up other's accents and it is not making fun of them, but it just happens.   I majored in Spanish in college and can do a real good "messican" accent...

I am glad I don't have to make excuses for NO HOUSEWORK with you gals.   My bones ache even though the sun is out bright and shiny and it is gonna be a hot one.

Well as much as I hate to,  we are going to do some chores today,  mostly Ed,  although I did iron already,   and did empty the dish washer,  he is at Lowes now picking up some stuff for a few projects he needs to get done - I TOLD HIM WE MAY HAVE LOTS OF COMPANY SOON -LOL.

So now beach, no pool,  SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

All work no play today.  YUCK I DON'T LIKE THAT IDEA AT ALL.

Key Lime is my favorite dessert in the whole world too,  I am not a pie maker,  I get ours at the local bakery - to die for - absolutely the best,  I never buy a whole one unless we are having company - I would eat the who thing,  but they make single serve little torte pies -  YUMMY I am not even sure that I chew it,  I think I just inhale the whole darn thing.

Those donuts on the other page are cake donuts. I like yeast donuts, the ones that are airy and light. You can eat way more of them that way! Laughing

Someone once gave me key lime pie, but didn't warn me and I thought it was a lemon pie gone bad!

Cathi, meant to ask. Are you saying Aspirin kills your pain better than Tylenol? I can't take aspirin products because of previous stomach ulcers. I have taken so many Tylenols over the years that my liver is compromised due to Tylenol poisoning!

LEFTY:  I lived in Pittsburgh for 4 years and loved it.  I worked for the public broadcasting station there - where Mr. Rogers taped his shows.  Incredibly nice man.

    BKC:  Aint it the truth!

COONIE:  The shoulder will take up to 8 weeks to heal.  As the text gets longer in each post, the number of posts goes down.

Where is Lursa?  Hopefully she is feeling fine and doing something fun.

Yeah Barbe Tylenol does nothing to even begin to relieve the ache in the hip and leg, I take Tylenol for headaches  and that works for this they do nothing.   I don't have stomach ulcers (thank goodness) but I know taking so many aspirin can really beat the tummy up,  I have very touch intestinal/colon issues however so I am being careful.  I see onco again this week,  going to see if he can prescribe another back up pain pill that might not zonk me out so much,  but narcotics and I don't do well together even some of the lowest dose ones.

My mom was put on an aspirin a day after her bypass surgery oh my gosh ,  (she and my dad were in separate hospitals for over a month - he lost his leg due to diabetes) she came home,  a few days later I brought my dad home,  2 nights later my dad calls in the middle of the night,  crying and hysterical, something is wrong with my mom,  I get to their place (10 minutes away) It looked like she had been stabbed 100times,  she was bleeding out so bad from a stomach ulcer the aspirin had effected. My dads not able to get out of bed alone yet because of his amputation, it was awful,  my mom was so weak from blood loss,  he had called 911 as well,  thank goodness,  my dad was never a crier,  but he sure cried that night,  it was so sad.  So I sure know the damage aspirin can cause.

WOw, Cathi, that's a heck of a story.  Your poor mom and dad.  I bet your dad felt helpless.  A good lesson for the rest of us on the dangers of aspirin.
