I'm not sure if I outta go Cathi.........it may be kinda hard to get me back home:)
-
oooh key lime pie, let me check my scheduale
-
bkz - You really shouldn't let your BIL wear a kilt to paint your daughters' room.
Do you think BIN would work? That's what we've used for heavy-duty primer in the past.
-
Hey Jane......I don't think I have you a proper welcome...........so.......here ya go!
We're so glad to have you part of the group. ENJOY!!
-
And a special welcome to Mizsissy too!! It's so good to have you "not cleaning" with us.....hehe
-
Aw, thanks, Coonie. That looks just like my Mia laying at the bottom of my recliner right now.
It was sunny for the first time today in weeks so I went outside and dug gullys and dug out weeds and planted some bulbs and some seeds and a lilac tree. Oh, and some tomatoes. I have NEVER planted anything before. I can kill a cactus inside. I do not have a green thumb. But I think I just want to be able to nurture something and help it live and grow.
-
Awwhh good Jane. It does feel good to watch and help something grow. It's a stress reliever for me to work in the yard.......even if it's pulling weeds. Do you just have one cat?
-
Coonie you can stay as long as you like, well at least until October then it gets to cold to swim at the beach for us locals. I think the water temp was 85 degrees todday. Air temp 92 but a great breeze. Well I am off to put my legs up and most likely fall asleep in 30 minutes.
Love and Sweet dreams to all.
XOXOXOXOXOXO - Cathi

I have just hung up the phone. It was Saint's dearest husband. He knew that we were in continual prayer today for them.
The sad news is that Saint was unable to attend the graduation -- even for the shortest amount of time, even to catch a glimmer, as had been her fondest wish.
I'm sure that as soon as I hit 'submit' my tears will start on her behalf.
I know that now, more than ever -- she will need our strength and encouragement to regain her feisty, can-do attitude.
Please continue to post your care and concern. I know that when she returns to the boards it will brighten her spirits. She needs us now, more than ever.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((Saint)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) thank you for the update, Faith... wish I was there to hug you... I feel like crying too... that's the first thing I checked when I got home was an update... I am very saddened but will continue to pray on Saint's and her family's behalf.
-
Coonie, your grannies face is going to give me nightmares!
AAAHH! Now the baby with the big teeth will be in my nightmares, too!
Thanks a lot, Coonie!
LOL
-
I have 3 1/2 cats and 2 dogs
Here are one of each
-
Just got home from work a little while ago and I am pooped. Think I will call it an early night.
-
Jane, yikes!!! My BIL in a kilt? Eeeeewwww. You have not met my BIL!!! He's a good carpenter but I'm not even looking forward to seeing him with a toolbelt on.
-
Ooooo, key lime pie, Cathi?? Let's see...only took about 14-16 hours or so to drive down to Florida the last time...
-
Coonie ... I knew we were related .. you got the best pictures of the family reunion.
Jane .. I used to love to garden but my back can't take it anymore. Once i cleaned out this old garden which had not be tended in quite sometime and a whole field of violets grew up in its place.
I am so sorry about Saint's health situation and missing her DS's graduation.
Cathi - Key Lime pie is my favorite!
Update on the shoulder ... it is annoying AND painful! On top of that the bruising on that arm has climbed down to my hand. A look in the mirror after getting out of the shower is scary.

Good morning everyone. It is a lovely sunny Sunday morning here in the UK. I hope you didn't have nightmares from all those teeth!
I was so sorry to read that Saint was unable to make it to her son's graduation. For sure I'll keep her in my prayers.
Jane_M 3 ½ cats? :) We have 2 cats it just seems like more with all the fur they leave everywhere.
Cathi Key lime pie sounds yummy. I would be jumping on a plane asap if I was allowed to fly.
Nick and I went swimming on Friday afternoon in an outdoor pool near to where we live. I love swimming and hadn't been since my diagnosis. Now my incisions have healed to this point I have a window of opportunity to swim, then once I start chemo it will be forbidden again because of the risk of getting an infection. I hadn't worn a swimsuit since my mastectomy and wasn't too sure how that would go. I was very encouraged by your photos Cathi and while I'm not saying I look anything like as good as you do in yours, I really think that anyone who didn't know I only have one and a (tiny) bit boobs wouldn't have guessed.
I hope you all have a good Sunday. ((((((Hugs and prayers to all in need)))))).
-
please email me large portion of key lime pie - it sounds fantastic!
-
Good morning Jayne and London and all my U.S. buddies.
Jayne: I once had 8 cats but now only one 1- I miss them alot!
-
Good morning housework avoiders.
Special prayers to Saint and her family and to all who are in need of them.
Gentle hugs too.
..........yesterday I had hope that Saint would make it to her son's special day or at least a part of it. Today the reality of it all is just so sad.
-

-
Here you go Deb... hope this helps!
Good morning "housework avoiders" Like that one Sharon... hehehehe
Jayne... so glad you're having a sunny day
We have one too, after much rain yesterday...
Looking forward to getting out in the yard!
Hey London... don't think we've met... glad to see ya!
Km.... Hope the shoulder and the foot are better...still can't believe it!
Remember:
-
Kathleen 8 cats! That's quite something. I have had as many as 5 at one time and that was fun. Where I lived before stray cats sometimes turned up and sort of moved in with us. Doesn't seem to happen where we are now. So our numbers have gradually declined.
-
Kathleen, when I was 13 I broke my ankle and turned black and blue from my toes all the waty to just above my knee!....It looked very scary!....The doc said it was form all the broken blood vessels when my ankle went pop.......
Wow all the kitty cat lovers!....I have 3 cats, 2 birds (a parrakeet and cockatiel), a rat and a hamster......Oh an the occasional chipmunk that my youngest cat brings in alive to play with......
When I was young we lived at the end of the neighborhood before the mining road started (yes I was a coal miner's daughter)...So we ended up with all the stray cats and the occasional dog.....When we moved away from our home to another state we had to leave behind about 30 cats and 10 dogs.....We took 2 dogs and 1 cat with us........
hope you all have a great day!......
-
Good morning housework avoiding bunnies
Hope all of you have a wondermous Sunday!!
Thinking and sending hugs and prayers to those under the weather. Hope your surgeries, treatments, etc are easing up on you a little and you're getting more strength each day!!
((((((((((((((((((((((((big hugs to EVERYBODY)))))))))))))))
-
-
Kathleen! Don't forget about all your CANADIAN friends too!
When I tore a ligament in my ankle my bruises were just stunning. But funnily enough, it didn't bruise between my toes! So the foot was black and when I spread my toes, there was the white!
-
Morning everyone, here's some donuts and I'm sure Arnie or Deb will be able to round up a cup of coffee or two for everyone.
-
OOppps... I'll make another pot...
