Hey Arnie, it's great to see you. It's great to see everyone.
Ya Coonie, we just introduced Friday's in Canada a few years back. LMAO.
-
Sharon----ROTFL
You think I'm loonie, don't ya??? huh? huh?
-
That would be EH? in Canadian speak. I won't tell anyone you are loonie Coonie.
-
Good morning dust bunnies. I hope you are all having a good Friday.
Welcome Candace. I agree with you that relationships take priority over housework any day. Housework?? What's that?
Kathleen the chocolate bunnies made me laugh. I usually eat the ears first; they are just too tempting. I hope your shoulder is feeling better.
Faith fingers crossed for another sunset for you. That one in your photo was a stunner.
Deb your lilies are doing well, and the tomatoes. I have several lilies but none of them are flowering yet. I get lily beetles on them, which are bright red bugs, not sure if they are the same ones you get Linda. Some of the sprays work on them, or they can be picked off and squashed if you can face that
Nancy reading your post I could just imagine sitting there with you listening to the Mammas and Pappas.
Julz & her DIL, Arnie & Mr Arnie, Shiny are still in my prayers.
I went for a walk this morning, I am trying to do some walking every day to keep myself moving and get some good fresh air in my lungs. This afternoon I plan to go swimming with my OH. Now that my incisions have healed enough I have the OK for swimming, but once I start chemo I have been told not to do it because of the risk of infection. I have to say that we do not have our own pool like I know some of you do; that is not usual in the UK, so I have to go to a public pool that many other people also use. The place we go to has both an indoor and an outdoor pool. It is sunny here again today so I may even go outdoors. I won't be able to fit in any housework today, such a shame!
-
Thanks Sharon!!!
I like EH better than huh anyway
-
Candace........here's your official welcome to the group. Hope you stay with us:)
-
How are ya feelin' today Coonie?
Hey Jayne, what does OH mean? I'm glad to hear you have no time for housework. Who does? Not I. Although I may have to push the Swiffer around and pick up a tad bit of dog hair. It's a wonder the beast isn't bald with all the hair that's shed.
-
Huh?
-
Candace ... welcome. I need some of your energy
-
-
Good morning Kathleen!!! I need some energy too! Hope you're feeling better though:)
Sharon, I'm getting there. Legs like jello, but I guess I can wobble around
Hey Jayne........it sounds like you're doing pretty good. Swimming!!!! You should see me try to swim. Since BC, my left arm doesn't work as well, and I look like a 3 legged dog trying to doggie paddle
LOL
Oh Sharon..........does OH stand for "old hag".......hehe...........eh?
-
Thank you Sharon ... I can always count on you!
-
cOONIE ... i THOUGHT i SAW YOU IN THE LAKE THIS MORNING
-
Hahaha Kathleen.
Coonie, you be careful on those jello legs..........don't pull a 'Kathleen' and take a header. Kathleen do you know why you fell?
-
Hi Sharon OH might be another Brit thing, it means Other Half. In my case it is Nick my wonderful partner for the past 20 years. I don't use DH because strictly speaking that would be untrue as we are not married. Hope I don't get thrown out of the group now for living in sin.
-
TGIF from sunny & warm Fla, @ 8:15AM we are at 76 degrees, expected high of 92 along the coast, I have been rocking out to Hanna Montana for awhile this AM, I am now " A ROCK STAR" and know how to do "THE BONE DANCE" So I will obviously be doing NO housework today, 49 is young until you try to keep up with a puppy and 5 year old, we are headed to Aunt Sharons pool later so I can rest.
XOXOXOXOXOXO - To all
-
Ahhhh, thanks Jayne..............I like it. Nah, you won't get thrown out for that. DH could be darling half.
-
Deb...those lilies were breathtaking! I love nature's beauty which is why I love you ladies so much!
-
LOL, Jayne, 20 years of living in sin!! That's better than most marriages!
Cathi, still raining here and in the upper 50's, but humid. Have fun dancing!
-
-
Morin' all! Linda, I am in the same time zone as you I think. I'm in Ontario. I have bad sleep patterns. It's lonely on the threads at night.....
-
Sharon yes darling half, I like it!
-
Wow, those last postings were like multiple orgasms!
-
Linda, that is my answer when anyone asks why we don't get married. It works for us so if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
-
Barb, I don't sleep well at night either and am up alot. My rule for myself is no computer when I'm supposed to be sleeping. I used to do that and would stay on the computer for hours! I figure I am better off to lay in bed and rest than do something. Not sleeping sucks. Can you take meds or something to help you?
-
Good for you, Jayne!
-
I usually read when I can't sleep but Faith was trying to post an amazing pic so I got up and checked. Yes I have sleeping meds, but sometimes my pain breaks through my pain meds and it's a vicious circle. (Still have the rather large kidney stone. Next ultrsound July 10 with f/u July 21! Uroligist said he couldn't believe that was what is causing all my pain so he wants to wait to see if I pass it, though he doesn't think I will as it is so big!)
-
We should start a sleepless thread, because I could join most nights too. No dancing for me today Linda or I would have to take the entire bottle of pain meds - LOL. Gosh thats cold for this time of year, yuck.
Barbe you must have a bolder for a kidney stone. OUCH!!!!
