Thanks Linda - its August here. I finally got some coated asprin, so I am sure that will help, its either take the stupid pain pills and sleep or take the asprin and have an upset stomach, but I think the coated will do the trick.
-
I wish it were August here, heck I'd even settle for May!
Good luck with the coated aspirin. Feel better!
-
This is the only kind of dust bunny allowed in my house
-
That's hysterical, kmc!! I love it!!
-
Ooooo Cathi........be careful with those aspirins. Tummy problems = nightmare
Hey Kathleen.........I love that pic. It looks familiar, but I think it's because I always eat the head or the rearend first on those bunnies:) LOL.......hope you're feeling better, gf (((((((((((Hugs))))))))
I sure am missing Arnie!!!!!!!!! Where are you Arnie? Come back please!!
Shiny, Lursa, Cheryl, 2new1s, Lori, Caligrl, Dejaboo....I know there's more my chemo brain forgets, but come back those of you who have been away..........we miss you!!!
-
Ok just for proof that I haven't cleaned, here's a pic of my family room! LOL
Looks lived in don't it?
-
Hey Deb!!! I see some of my stuff in there!!! I've been wondering where it went
-
ARGGHHH forgot to remove that stuff before I took the pic...... Mom sent it all to me, that wasit!
-
Well, Deb. That puts it all into perspective, now, doesn't it? LOL.
I sure missed a whole lotta fun around here today.
Coonie. We did it again..... another four hours working on the yard. And now I'm pleased to say we have it up to gorgous-ness. The funny thing is, it's teeeeeeny tiny, itty-bitty. The yard that is.
We have three perennial/ground covers and I keep sorting them out and planting them into new areas. My favorite thing of all is that fern grow up here -- like CRAZY!! So I was able to start 20 new clumps from the volunteers that popped up this spring.
Now our little postage stamp is completely outlined with fern.
hugs to all in the midst of treatment.
xx00xx00xx00xx
LOVED seeing all the old black & white photos. Fun. Fun. Maybe I can find one to add. I know they're on my blog somewhere. Hmmmmmm. How to get them here???
*********************OHHHHHHHHHHH and Barbe a gazillion thanks for sharing your work. So awesome! So inspirational!!! More. More. More. Please. (When you have time.)
Maybe we'll finally have another sunset tonight?? It's just been one big cloudbank, since our first night back.
-
went through non-bedrooms and uncluttered, putting stuff in a box, relocating some furniture to make walls free. some stuff is going in the attic when i can get someone to help. meanwhile i feel like i can breathe. i do have a housecleaner every two weeks and when they left the house was gleaming. whenever i can i clean a shelf or cupboard but that is it. i draw limits even if i think i can go on or its weeks before i get back to it. my priorities: bathe my paralyzed husband, feed us 2x a day, put him to bed, maybe do a load of laundry. energy for relationships or things but not both. relationships rank first.
-
Ok I gotta brag here, my Lily's bloomed, well on of them..it's so pretty.........and my tomatoes don't look bad for starting out small and only being planted about a month!
-
Welcome Candace! Slow down!! You're making the rest of us look bad!
Great pics, Deb!
-
I'm tickled with those lilies..I only planted one last year, had no idea they spread! I had planted sweet williams around the area to fill it in..now looks as if I might have to dig those up and move them!
-
Deb, I planted one last year and just found out that they spread too. Mine has not bloomed yet. Real soon! They get these red bug on them that I pick off. Not sure what they are.
-
Kathleen, that's my favourite Easter email. LOVE it! hehehehehe
I like that totem pole thing on the chair in the picture of someones "family room". Cool.
LOVE the lilies too. Always a favourite of mine...sigh.
-
hmm wonder if it would hurt Linda to spray them with that Sevin liquid spray? I had to use that on my tomato's and green pepper plant, the bugs were partying on them.........
-
I'll have to try it.
-
I had something to say and by the time I read all the posts.........well, lucky for you gals........I forgot what my words of wisdom were.
So........gentle hugs and sleep well.
-
Me too Sharon! It left me speechless so I didn't even post! hehehehehe
-
Hugs to all who need them, especially Julz, Kathleen, Arnie & Mr. Arnie. Coonie, that fighting bunny has such a cute face, I just want to kiss him on the nose! But I guess he'd punch it!
Good one about the chocolate bunnies! I wish I could turn my dust bunnies into chocolate bunnies. That would be a good trick, eh? I'd have enough to last till next Easter!!
Deb, I've had the most gorgeous stargazer lily blooming, can't wait for the rest of mine to bloom, too. Love 'em!
-
Good morning everyone. Guess I am the first one up today. Hot coffee is on the counter. Feel free to "bring your own" bagels, donuts, muffins, etc... 2 chairs are out on my concrete slab/patio and we can argue what kind of music to play at this early hour. Right now it is Mammas and Pappas.
I am not sure which project I will avoid today !! Got the sheets changed and laundry going. HUGS for all. TGIF !! Nancy
-
Good Morning Nancy! ANd everyone else.
Thinking of you Julz and Sarah, Arnie and Mr. Arnie and so glad Coonie is with us!

BTW, How's Mom? I hope she doesn't have another headache. Last I remember (I think) she was taking the kids out for the day. Hope she made it back!
-
Morning Linda. Don't know how Mom is. Ya, hope her head is all better.

Lursa.... (((((((((hugs))))))))))
2new1's... Praying that you recover quickly from surgery... ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
Deb... love those lillies! Ours bloomed during my chemo fog too... they're sooooo pretty
Ok.... Please forgive me if I've forgotten anyone. Mr. Arnie had his heart monitor taken off yesterday and we don't know the results yet. He has to go to our Cardiologist for a "bubble test" to make sure he doesn't have a hole in his heart... has to go see a neurologist, etc., etc,. so he's gonna be off work for awhile. He works for the Twsp. of Canton and he thinks they're going to try to force him on a medical retirement. We'll see.... He's been listening to me and taking it real easy... now that my fog's lifted I know he has because of the condition of the house...lol
Thank you for all the prayers and good wishes.... you gals are the best!
-
Good morning Bunnies!!!
It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's good, huh??? Is it Friday in Canada?? hehe LOL

Welcome Candace!!!!!!!! I don't think we've met. It's so good to have you with us. BUT.....you better slow down a little bit. Somebody might get a mop after you for working so hard. LOL
-
So good to hear from you Arnie. I'm glad you are felling better and Mr. Arnie is too! Keep taking good care of each other! Best of luck with all your upcoming doctors appointments.
