Ouch Deb.... sending you a little first aid.

The girl on the left is my step-daughter Cheryl. She sobbed, and I mean sobbed while Kim was coming down the aisle! Very cute sound in the video apparently, hehehehehehe.
The girl on the right is my ex's step-daughter.

Hi Ladies,
Just a real quicky, you will have to forgive me as my head and emotions are being taxed and have a craking headache. Tribunal judge sent out different directives for my son's special educational needs statement hearing; They are pilling on the work on us and alot on this week. Also, trying to help manage expectations or very different persons who want very different things in relation to my Dad's service and, am trying to find the words to do him justice next Sunday.
JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR BEING MY FRIEND AND BEING SO KIND AND SUPPORTIVE. BLESS YOU AND AND GOD KEEP YOU WELL.
I have read as much as I could in this sitting and don't want to leave anyone out, I have felt and "listenned" to most of your recent posts and can assure you that I have : been glad, concerned, in awe, amused, sadened, shocked, inspired,in awe again, compelled to send "abundant vibes of my bestest quality" and have prayed for many that their woes may pass.
love. xx

lightening struck outside our house..... outta the blue
fried cable to computer/TV: ye gads.
seems like an "Act of God" to keep me focused on other efforts. Seriously.
will send much love for the duration -- rest of week will be consumed with heading to our northern WI slice-of-heaven-on-earth.
We really did 'list' our house in OH today with realtor. I suppose it's time I get with the program.
Oh dear.
I see house work on the horizon.
but not right now.
LOVE and hugs to each and all..... dust bunnies, and energizer bunnies alike.

Is anyone else noticing how slow the site is today? I mean to send messages or refresh the page.
-
Hi all! Wow! Ya'll are busy today! I'm not even going to try and go back except to say, "Welcome back Barbe and great pics!!"
Today (day 7) has been my worst yet for nausea. I thought I would be way past the nausea by now. Didn't get much sleep last night either.
Was it on this thread I heard about chemo angels? It was somewhere here at BCO. I got my first letter from my chemo angel today and I just cried and cried when I read it. It really touched me that someone would take the time to write and pray for me. I was just so emotional with it. I am going to enjoy getting her letters very much. Anyway, I don't remember if it was here or not. Someone else might be interested too. Neat organization!
If anybody is on Facebook- I'd love to be your friend there! Just PM me and I'll tell you my name.
Now, it's off to bed soon. Gotta try and make up some sleep from last night. Good night sweet dust bunnies!
Mary

Mary, I just pm'd you.

A quick fly by after recoving from tylenol and codeine due to trip to ER for large, red, very painful varicose vein bulge on leg. Ultra sound showed as a superficial thrombophlebitis, or very small blood clot but NOT a deep vein thrombosis, which can be fatal. Treatment is support hose, one 325 mg aspirin a day, elevate, move around and do not sit for long periods of time and watch to see if it goes away on its own. They said not uncommon with the # of varicose veins I have.
I get Herceptin again on Thursday and they flush with heparin, which should help. And the hospital gave me a taxi voucher to get home since I only had $ 6 in my purse after paying for the taxi ride over.
So I am calling on my banked house work points to get me thru the next few days of elevating the leg and short walks around the apartment complex to keep the blood circulating.
Barb, the photos are beautiful, thanks for sharing. Wisconsin is not the only place that has snow... texas rose, do you have Emend and zofan? they worked wonders with the nausea for me. Also eating lots of small bits of food, even if only a bite or 2 at a time. Cold tasted better than hot. Popsicles and ice cream and cinnamon bread toast. What a diet plan... LOL !!
Hugs, sweet dreams and blessings, Nancy
-
((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) Nancy. Glad they know its not deep veined and you were wise to go in.
So no work for you! Keep us up to date.
-
Going to head for bed. Just not a fun day today between fighting this migraine and not having the energy to plow through this mess I've made.
-
Nancy and Mm, hope you are feeling better. I hope today will be much better for both of you!!

Keeping all you ladies in my prayers....
Barbe...Welcome back sweetie...we missed you sooooo much! Oh my goodness what absolutely beautiful pics, brought happy tears to my eyes... absolutely gorgeous! Soooo glad you had such a beautiful experience...
I'm still not feelin' myself either...(whine...whine) lol... this one just kicked me in the butt... and have next a week from today. Usually after 4 days I get a bounce back, didn't happen this time. Oh well, after next AC I'll be halfway done with chemo and then I'll go on the Taxotere train 4x.
Coonie.. Haven't done the calendar thing yet...but gonna try to get my "end date" today... I think it will help
-
How about some pancakes to make us all feel better?? Tomorrow is 1 yr from dx for me and it makes me sick to think about it. Ugh!
-
Good morning! (((((((( HUGZ ))))))))) all around...
I had a terrible night. Bowel pain and nausea....sigh. If I was still away I would have worried
; a terrible weight loss program!
Today, though it is my day off, I am going to two sites to assess lighting for model home furniture (I have the blueprints already). I love doing model homes...spending someone else's money!
One is for a huge sales centre (4,000 square feet) to be mocked up as a "unit". The other is for 2 condos in a time-share complex for renovation. If that flies, I'll get to do 150 units! Huge money! But in the future....do I have a future? Ah, who knows...sigh. Some days, like last night, I wonder
-
(((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) Linda...thanks for the pancakes
-
(((((((((Hugs)))))))))) barbe... sounds exciting...hope you feel better today ...
-
good morning ladies. Hugs for Barbe and Arnie and Mary and Nancy!!!! Hope everyone is feeling better today.
