Glad to do it arnie. But as I'm giving out my name, address and phone number I realize I am making the leap to be committed to real relationships on here. So much for not giving out personal info. Who knew you could feel so close to people you never have met! So now that everyone knows me I expect a few friendly calls once in awhile.

hey mom... when you said that about feelin' close to people you've never even met... I wrote this poem the other day... now I'm no poet, but this is how I felt...  Ok I'm ducking...lol

New friends...

That I would not even recognize if I met on the street.

Many are plodding along feeling the same way

on any given day....

They care and it's to them my soul I bare.

They know where I've been because they've been there too ...

We try to lift each other up, but let each other be blue.

Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry;

and often we just wonder why...

and then there comes another person that we can encourage

or just lend an ear, a "newbie" who is full of fear.

Sisters of breast cancer, each others burdens we bear.
