We have Bass Pro Shops here in Canada, too. Tell him I've caught a 7 pound lake trout and see what he says! It almost pulled me under the boat!

Well I have to say that if there wasn't the housework I whould have a big problem in motivating myself. I mean that I keep doing all the houseworks almost like I  used to. I have my breakfast and afterwards prepare the meal, wash the dishes by hand -although I have dish washer- do the ironing, vacum cleaner etc the days I can. In fact my family was trying to stop me but I never give up. I find it really helpfull. Of course I rest myself when having side effects from chemos -almost 5-8 days a month. I am not entirely crazy as you can see! I used to do all these after having a 9 hours surgery in supraclavicuklar and neck area on December that could have left me an arm disabilty. I went to my surgeon last week and he was speachless when he saw my arm having normal functionality. I believe we have to behave as we used to.

Vivo, I agree that we need to keep doing what we can to feel better. I was able to mow a lot of the yard today, but when it got too steep my DH took over. I was impressed that he stood by and watched me slip a couple of times without jumping in. He knows that I know my limits.

Cali, I'll take any ship in the ocean right now!

VIVO! I love your avatar. I'm fascinated by that photo. Do you know anything about it's origin?

I've seen it once & used it for a project -- but I don't know anything about the photographer, etc.

BTW: I think it's a slippery slope if we start talking too much about actual housework.

    JMHO.

    Love the fish stories!! Congrats.

Well you have to CLEAN the fish before you eat it so it's kind of like housework!

Sorry Cali I just couldn't resist.  Can you imagine in this internet world we live in how awful (and made for tv drama) that would be to post a pic of your boyfriend and REALLY have someone say that!!!

Vivo welcome aboard. I'm like you, I feel that I got back alot of my range of motion and feeling by carrying on with normal activities although for the first few weeks I tried very hard to take it easy like the doctor said. Gradually I was able to do more and more.

i think HE has to clean the fish before he eats it. But WE get to count it as one of our chores. LOL

oh mom2....that would be just awful, but so like the internet to cause something like that. I had something similar happen to me. Just a few days ago this man i have never met, but chat with a few times a week, told me about his ex and how she'd had a stroke and now needed heart surgery. GASP!! She had been my patient a few days earlier when she was hospitalized. Needless to say I changed the subject immediately. But.... small world. I think what you suggested could very easily happen. Let's just hope it doesn't happen to ME! I've had enough drama for a life time...or for lifetime (television that is).

Naw Cali he doesn't look like the deceptive type.  The internet does make the world alot smaller though.
