Cali- what a cutie!
-
Hey Stacy!!! Great picture.....he looks like a keeper:) Good luck!!!
-
Yes, he is. I'd like to go fishing with him. I love to fish!
-
He's darling! He has a very small.....fish! hehehehee
We have Bass Pro Shops here in Canada, too. Tell him I've caught a 7 pound lake trout and see what he says! It almost pulled me under the boat!
-
OH NO Stacy! Thats my long lost husband!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did you find him!
-
(just kidding hehehehehe)
-
Coonie that's cute. Which is the keeper, the fish or the dude? hehehehe
-
Well I have to say that if there wasn't the housework I whould have a big problem in motivating myself. I mean that I keep doing all the houseworks almost like I used to. I have my breakfast and afterwards prepare the meal, wash the dishes by hand -although I have dish washer- do the ironing, vacum cleaner etc the days I can. In fact my family was trying to stop me but I never give up. I find it really helpfull. Of course I rest myself when having side effects from chemos -almost 5-8 days a month. I am not entirely crazy as you can see! I used to do all these after having a 9 hours surgery in supraclavicuklar and neck area on December that could have left me an arm disabilty. I went to my surgeon last week and he was speachless when he saw my arm having normal functionality. I believe we have to behave as we used to.
-
oh Mom2... are u serious?? naaah.. you're just kidding!! He's here in Omaha, NE. Now, you ladies all know that size doesn't matter...it's the motion of the ocean.
-
Vivo, I agree that we need to keep doing what we can to feel better. I was able to mow a lot of the yard today, but when it got too steep my DH took over. I was impressed that he stood by and watched me slip a couple of times without jumping in. He knows that I know my limits.
Cali, I'll take any ship in the ocean right now!
-
Welcome Vivo. Sounds like you have a good handle on things, especially housework. Are you sure you belog on this thread??? Just kidding!! We' love to have you even though we don't love to do housework!
-
Welcome to the group Vivo. And it does sound like you've got things under control. Maybe you could come to my house next? hehe
Barbe.....lol
I think Stacy probably thinks the dude is the keeper, but I think the fish is cute too:)
Hey ladies...........notice the welcome!!! I did good, huh?
Sharon!!!! Are you busy cleaning house???!!!! Come back!
-
VIVO! I love your avatar. I'm fascinated by that photo. Do you know anything about it's origin?
I've seen it once & used it for a project -- but I don't know anything about the photographer, etc.
BTW: I think it's a slippery slope if we start talking too much about actual housework.
JMHO.
Love the fish stories!! Congrats.
-
Well you have to CLEAN the fish before you eat it so it's kind of like housework!
-
Sorry Cali I just couldn't resist. Can you imagine in this internet world we live in how awful (and made for tv drama) that would be to post a pic of your boyfriend and REALLY have someone say that!!!
Vivo welcome aboard. I'm like you, I feel that I got back alot of my range of motion and feeling by carrying on with normal activities although for the first few weeks I tried very hard to take it easy like the doctor said. Gradually I was able to do more and more.
-
Coonie great Welcome pic too.
-
i think HE has to clean the fish before he eats it. But WE get to count it as one of our chores. LOL
-
oh mom2....that would be just awful, but so like the internet to cause something like that. I had something similar happen to me. Just a few days ago this man i have never met, but chat with a few times a week, told me about his ex and how she'd had a stroke and now needed heart surgery. GASP!! She had been my patient a few days earlier when she was hospitalized. Needless to say I changed the subject immediately. But.... small world. I think what you suggested could very easily happen. Let's just hope it doesn't happen to ME! I've had enough drama for a life time...or for lifetime (television that is).
-
Naw Cali he doesn't look like the deceptive type. The internet does make the world alot smaller though.
-
I went out and mowed part of the yard Coonie and
now I am paying, Did some housework, Can I borrow
that wind for dusting next time. Wishing you all a wonderful
cleaning week, Makaz, I want to fish for a cute one.
Take care, Relay for life, this weekend. Debbie
-
Debbie! You're only supposed to do ONE thing. Come on, you know the rules. (((( hugs ))))
-
Barb, do you ever sleep??? What time zone are you in. YAWWWWWWNNNNNN, I don't know how you do it!
Good morning dust bunnies!!
-
Good morning!
I doze....read.....doze.....
Side effect of Fibromyalgia....sigh. Even on 15 mgs of Melatonin every evening. I fall asleep easily, but I wake up often.
-
I do that do, not to that extreme, more anxiety. I take lorazepam and am out light a light. I only do that about 2 nights a week so I can get some good sleep otherwise I may shoot my boys! JK! not really, yes I am!!
-
Barbe..........that's how I sleep (or don't sleep) too. Drives me nuts.......in case ya'all haven't noticed.
That's why I stear away from doing too much housework.
Happy housework day everyone.
-
Nope, a work day for me, the $$ kind.

-
