Footprints, LOL,. most of the plants were here when we bought the house, I planted the Sweet Williams, an azaela bush and a hibiscus, that's it................oooo had to edit, I also planted these lily's, can't wait for them to come up!
-
Hehehehehehehe to all!
Love the flowers, mine aren't even thinking about opening up yet...brrrrrrrrrr.
-
Jeez, I miss sooooo much when i don't check in and read the posts every day. The gardens are all so lovely. The dirty kids are even lovlier! I got a kick out of Linda's idea to open the windows to blow the dust away.. hehe.. GREAT plan! Me? I've been working 3 days a week, doing rads 5 days a week, and...Scott called me "his girlfriend" on saturday night!! You'll all be happy to know that he's an old fashioned country boy...raised on an acreage in Western Iowa. Good family values, strong morals, and a strong work ethic. oh....and he's never cheated on a girlfriend. THAT, my dears, is a good thing. Now, I need to get to work cleaning up my kitchen so that I can go plant some flowers in my yard too!

Then come baby in a baby carriage!
-
barbe- you are too funny!
When I was young, my brother, sister and I loved to play in the rain, the dirt, the mud you name it...most fun were the mud fights we had (but we created very strict rules ----no rocks and other things mixed in the mud sort of thing). If, when done, we decided we weren't dirty enough, we rolled around in the mud some more, just for our sweet mama who was a very good sport about it!!!
We've had so many deer over the past few yrs, I don't plant much any more...

Stopping in to say hi. Hubby headed off to work a little bit ago, feeling better but not quite 100% yet. I made him go to the doctors yesterday even though he was fussing that they would only say it was a virus and then do nothing. I just knew when he called in sick and then at lunch he said he wasn't hungry that he needed to be seen. Turns out he has a pretty bad case of bronchitis (not a smoker) and he has a pretty bad ear infection too. The doctor said it was caused by allergies starting up and it just sets the stage for the other things to follow. Now just a couple doses of antibiotics and decongestants later and he's back able to go to work.
Then dd#2 had an appointment today that I kept her home from school for this morning and after we finally arrived they informed us the doctor had something come up and they had cancelled the appointment. So we are having to reschedule and miss another morning of school another day. Oh well thats how it goes sometimes.
Next I have to get dd#1 to work and then I might have a moment or two to myself.

mom2two ~ I hate when dr's offices mess up appointents! Hope everone is feeling better soon.
DD (23 months) & I were at our local Quick Care first thing this morning. We both have upper respiratory infections. Mine worse than hers - thank goodness. Doctor said he was glad I came in, if I had waited, mine would have turned into pneumonia! Last thing I need right now. We both got prescriptions. In a few days we will be feeling much better.
Took our first doses of meds, so hopefully we can take a nap soon!
Absolutely no cleaning today - or cooking! DH & DS will be on their own for dinner! When DH gets home from work, I will be headed straight for B-E-D!
caligrlof68 ~ Nice to hear that your new "boyfriend" seems good so far! Keep us updated - we love to hear ALL about it! LOL

2new1s hope you all are feeling better soon too.
Arnie....how's Lilah? I've thought about her so much. Hope she's feeling much better.
Hey Elaine, Barbe, Mumayan.
(((((((((big hugs to everybody else too)))))))
-
Barbe, you are tooo funny! It's funny you sang that song....we've both commented that we feel 17 again! Fortunately there won't be any babies. Between the 2 of us we have 5 kids already. I should tell you all that one older lady that he works with at his p/t job approached him to talk. She wanted to talk about the fact that he had a girlfriend, that 'she is pretty', and that 'she is a breast cancer survivor'. Scott had a pretty lengthy conversation with this woman and she shared that she, too, had survived breast cancer "a long time ago". So long in fact that all they did back then was "cut them off and send you on your way". She told him that he must be a real man for sticking by me and not running away when he found out about it. I guess it makes me believe that the human race may not be doomed afterall if there are good men still left in this world.
I love the blooming dogwood pictures. And as for lilacs, there is a large bush on my fenceline....makes my whole backyard smell like flowers. I can't quite stand the smell in my house as it is far to 'floral' for my taste, but i love the smell outside.
I hope all of you are having a fantastic day!
Stacy
