Good morning Ladies
I hope Lilah is still on the mend. Please keep us updated.
I had the cleaning bug this morning. Cleaned kitchen floor, did 2 loads of laundry, and folded it too! I have to go to the grocery store later on and then to my sons school. The SUN IS OUT!!! YEAH! We are supposed to get thunderstorms later on today so I'm going to try and enjoy some sun this morning. I think I will go for a walk after the grocery store.
Hope you are all doing well!

-
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomygoooooooodnesssssssssssssssss
I take a little trip away and what adventures have taken place.
Thank heavens that Lilah has received care & attention, prayers & hugs and encouragement. I read the thread as fast as I could to find out what had unfolded for our little sweetheart.
Thank goodness for a prayer chain of such strength -- to hold you up Arnie.
Blessings on her for the whole weekend ahead.
(Now, exhale Arnie.)
Hugs and encouragement to all in need.

Morning everyone!
Linda I think you've got the right idea about getting up and at "em early in the morning. I read an aritcle at the bookstore that said getting out for even 15 minutes in the morning helps to turn off the melatonin in your body so you aren't dragging and fatiqued all day. Of course you are suppose to follow that with getting to bed at a decent hour too.
Elaine I'm like you I think living near family is so important nowadays. I sure hope my girls decided to stay put with their families when they come along. I am just itching to be a grammie one day.
We had more rain too Debbie and I heard it thundering in the night. I think they said its suppose to pour this weekend.
My patio is starting to look like a garden center. I keep seeing things I want to grow. I have a cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberry, blackberry and blueberry plant that are starting to take off and too many vegetable plants to even name. At least I won't have to go to the farmers market this year and pay $3 per tomato.
-
Sounds like my yard mom2two...it's like a jungle...lol love it that way, though
Faith... thank you so much for the well wishes for our little Llilah... I'm sooooooooooo glad you and Julz and Mr. Faith had such a wonderful time!
We have a backyard pond and my little gs has already been fishing this a.m. lol Already had to change his clothes once..lol
Gonna be a beautiful day here too...
-
Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday...........praying that Lilah recovers completely and that Trent will catch a fish and not just get his clothes wet
It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!! ((((((((((((((hugs to everybody)))))))))))))
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Morning, ladies! Yes, everyone, the sun is out, at least here in southern New England!
Here's a cup of latte for you all.
Have a wonderful Mother's Day if I don't get back here before then. I go up north to get a massage tomorrow!!! A gift from two of my girlfriends in Boston.
Linda, can you send that bug of yours down here? I could use a little infestation of that kind of bug!
Arnie, give Lilah a smooch from me.
Barbe, aren't those magazines amazing? Here's a link for everyone again (I can't remember where I've put things anymore, including links...) www.stampington.com

Arnie, Not only should you get the day off, I think you should get the month off! ALl that worrying yesterday must have been horrible. You need a vacation or at least a housework vacation! So glad Lilah is better!
Mom, good theory on the getting out early. I'm still tired in the afternoon. My kids do that too me!
KAK enjoy your day and massage! So sorry to tell you, the bug is gone. It may return some day!
I'm going to Soccer games on Mothers Day! Isn't that great!! Not really, but it's not about me! I will see my Mom on Monday for lunch.
Hugs to all!

We were under more severe weather warnings today. Actually hit the town that is right next to us again. Did some wind damage. You could almost feel that it was going to be a severe weather day out. You know that eerie calm before the storm feeling.
Have done no housework today. Think my "cycles" are trying to begin again after all these months. Guess that explains the bout with the migraines. Haven't had one of those in quite a while. Should have known since it was me making advances to hubby instead of the other way around this month. he he he (as barbe so aptly says)
-
hehehhehehehe (yah gotta link it, like)
-
Pardon me for he he he ing incorrectly.
hehehehehehe (how was that?
)

Just got back from cub scouts. Now I'm watching the Celtics, not looking too good, but it's early. Red Soxs are also on too! Thank God for DVR.
Arnie, the boys didn't swim today. Too much to do. How's Lilah??
Mom, I don't think I'd like the kind of storms you guys get Stay safe. Hope athe migraines stay away.
Gross! about the cat puke and the dog eating it. Margo is too much of a lady to do that!
-
Linda I don't like them either! Usually they split and go just north and south of here, then come back together as they move east. Not sure why that is, but glad they tend to do that.
-
Mom, The funny thing is I love storms. I've taught my kids to love them too. Whether they are blizzards, thunderstorms or hurricanes, I love to watch them. I guess I know that where I live, we will always make it through the storm. Not so in other parts of the country. The worst storm I made it through was the blizzard of 78. It was awesome. School was closed for over 2 weeks!

I was just watching footage of the April 3rd, 1974 tornado outbreak on You Tube. I was a teenager in Jeffersonville, Indiana working in a Winn dixie grocery store. Before I left for work that day my dad called to tell us to take cover that there were 3 tornados heading our way. It was so hard to believe. Worse lightning storm I've ever seen. My boss insisted everyone report for work anyway. I remember hoping the glass in the front of the store wouldn't shatter.
Then a lady came in and told us what all was happening just miles from us in Louisville Ky. It was a long, long night. Brandenberg,Ky was hit hard too.
-
And that is why I live in MA!!!!
