Kind of breezing through (like I do housework;)) Just want to wish all gentle hugs and specially to those in need of 'em.
-
Sharon, you mean you actually do housework?
-
LOLOL, when I have to Linda........still getting over the head smack. Now I'm very very afraid of housework..........thankfully.

Just checking in from work. Praying for Lilah!!! You too Arnie!!!!!!!! So sorry Lilah is having such a hard time!!! (((((((((((big hugs)))))))))
back to work for me:(
-
Hugs and prayers for Lilah!!! Bless her heart! I hope she is feeling better soon.
No housework for me today. Well, I did mop the bathroom floor. After a week of going to the hospital every day, I am going to the movies this afternoon. And getting a pedicure tomorrow.
Hugs to all! Where did my sun go??????
-
Hi Mary, Glad you are having some YOU time! Enjoy!
I vacuumed again! Emptied dishwasher and folded laundry.
You sun is not here, but maybe it's on it's way!
-
Arnie just checked back in and see the news about Lilah, many -many prayers coming your way and hers. So scary -xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
No housework for me today except made the bed, have been stuck in this office for hours and boy is it hot, we did over the old utility room (which is quite large) but the hot water heater remains (can't see it Ed built around it), but it's hot, I could turn the A/C on, but I hate doing that the rest of the house is fine still great sea breeze and I HATE having all the doors and windows shut up, not to mention the awful electric bills, so have dragged out my extra fan - of coarse that blows stuff everywhere. Oh well guess I'll work naked. LOL
-
I'm just checking in again too. Arnie.......hope all it ok SOON. Gentle hugs.
-
I hope Lilah is doing well. Still thinking of you all.
-
I'm still thinking of Lilah too!!! Arnie...please let us know as soon as you hear something. (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

Just got back home and was hoping there was some news from arnie about Lilah.
-
Hi guys....soooooooooo sorry to keep you all waiting but it's been quite a day for our little Lilah.
It ends up she has "serum sickness reaction" which to my understanding that the bacteria from her ear infection and the bacteria from her penicillen reacted violently. We thought for a little while this afternoon that she was gonna be transferred to Children's hospital in Detroit...thankfully after two shots of ephinephrine and increased steroids they stabilized her.... so they released her about 20 minutes ago and the kids just got her home. I keeping Trent overnight so they can concentrate on taking care of Lilah...
I was telling dd about all of you praying and she told me to give (((((((hugs)))))))) and thank you very much! I LOVE YOU ALL... and thank you also from the bottom of my heart for praying for our little Lilah... I'm so glad I found this site and sooooooooooo glad I have met you all..
Love,
Janet

Arnie!! Great News!!! So sorry that she had to go through all of this. I'm so happy that things turned out alright. The power of prayer!!
Get some rest! Thanks for sharing the news!!
-
Thank you for letting us know! The adrenaline is going to leave you and DD's systems and you're going to crash! Get a good sleep.
-
phewwww.( wiping sweat off worried brow.) good to hear that it's diagnosed and treatable. hugs to all
-
Poor little Lilah!! Oh, gawd, did she get over it all yet?? I totally sympathize because I used to break out in hives when I was little from being allergic to certain cats. I grew out of it, thank god, but I can remember a few occasions of being rushed to the hospital to get epinephrine shots.
Nancy, I haven't gotten to the last page yet, here but I hope your mamm is negative. Oh, I hate the wait.
Mom, hope your little one gets well soon!
Wendy, you go, girlfriend. One of my friends makes beautiful beaded jewelry (www.jabberwockyjewels.com -- website designed by moi!!) and I make clothes, and we've got this big dream of getting into this artisan/wearable art sale held here every Christmas season. Good for you!!
What, is the entire eastern seaboard getting nothing but rain this week??? I'm turning into a mushroom! There's a fungus among us, as my father used to say!
Barbe, I like those rules! I can live with those.
Oh, Arnie, I see on the last page here that they were able to help Lilah at last! Poor thing. What a trauma. You and she will remember that one for a long time!
I have to run, girls, to finish paperwork for the job, so I'll try to finish catching up later.
Hugs to all.
-
Kathi, I wanted to mention that YES I do read those magazines! LOVE them!
-
So happy to hear good news Arnie, that poor little thing, she was proably so scared, as you and DD were as well. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO -Heres hoping Tomorrow is a perfect day for ALL!!!!!

Hey to everybody else!! So good to see all of your post. I'm on the run too!!
-
Group hugs for all you sweet dust bunnies.....whether you're in treatment, finished treatment, having tests done, or just plain ole trying to adjust to the new "you"..........here's a swweeettt soft cuddly hug for the whole group.............(((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
-
Thanks Coonie. I'm sure we can all use that hug. Here is my favorite winnie the pooh quote. It reminds me of all of you!
"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you."
-
Awwhhh Linda..........thanks! That's sweet
-
Crying happy tears that Lilah is fine. You'd think she was our grandbaby too arnie, think thats the first time since the thread started that we've been short on words. But in this case the prayers were much more powerful than all the gabbing we could do. Gonna go blow my nose and thank the Lord that little one is home in her moms arms tonight.
