Here I am. Yesterday I was up at 4 am to get ready to run our club meeting in the morning. By the time we had lunch in town and id some errads we didn't get home until 3pm. It was pretty hot so we spent a couple hours inside and then I needed to go out to the green house because my neighbors cat got in there on Friday and wreked havok. It jumped up on a table and knocked my plumeria tree to the ground, taking several other plants with it. A cat? You ask...the pot the tree was in was like and upside down "Devo" hat, so it was top heavy. Anyway, ther was lots of cleanup to be down and a tree to be re-potted. The upside is that I slept like a baby last night.
-
thanks for checking in Meece!! Have fun, it should keep you busy, like you dom't have anything else to do..
-
Too damn hot to do anything but stay inside and watch the boob tube.
-
I put in t another hour and a half outside and now am wiped out. I hate this heat!
-
Me too! It's soooo hot and humid. We better get some good thunder storms from this!
-
57 at lunch time--can we please have some sun?
-
I was just wondering how your weather has been, Chabba. You can have some of the sun and heat we're going to get for the next 3 days - mid-90's and humid - blah.
Good for you, doing all that work, Meece. Now it's time to relax and cool off.
((((((TOL))))))

80 is a hot day here but usually has cooling ocean breezes but by this time of year we are into the 70's for daytime temps. We have had very few of those yet today. Looks like the high today will be 60........Again! And with cooling breezes from the ocean. Even so we had a lot of people here for the freak-a-thon---yes that is what they call it. It is a whole variety of unusual length and types or combinations of races. I think there is a marathon and a 1/2 marathon Then there lots of other lengths and also combinations of foot, bike and swim and some I've never heard of putting together. Almost something for everyone.
At least tomorrow is supposed to top 70!
-
It hit 101 here, now in the high 90's. I had to put the sprinkler on my veggie garden.
-
Same here Deb. I was hoping for some thundershowers. Chabba send some cool breezes our way!
-
Looks like you've got some rain headed your way - hope it cools things off at least for tonight...
101 - ugh.
60 is a good temp for the races anyway. Hope it warms up for tomorrow, Chabba.
We watched Galaxy Quest today - I love that movie.
-
Good night my friends!
♥ Sheila.

Back home around 5........then to my youngest daughter's for a great spaghetti dinner.............had a great meal out last night with another daughter down the shore.............too much food.......like I need it..........wow.......
-
They are only predicting the ocassional dry lightning around here.
-
mmmm Spaghetti dinner. I wish I could make a great spaghetti dinner. When I had my bunion surgery, our neighbor brought over some spaghetti and meatballs. They were the best meatballs. In my thank you note, I asked her for the recipe, but she didn't give it to me and I didn't want to pester her for it...now she's moved away
They were sooo good.
Hope you got some rain up there in Mass last night. After I said it looked like rain was headed your way, later it looked like the rain started to dry up - I hope there was enough left to water the lawns and cool things off a smidge. Back to the heat today...
-
Well 94 here today so another day home in the house....tried to get hours at macy's aren't any.....how is everyone? Oh yea and who is watching Big Brother, Shiela, check in...Ducky, glad you are back and had a good time!!!
Chris sorry about the concerts
Deb....glad you checked in....
70's wish I was there...

No rain!
-
Guess it rained itself out before it got to you. Hopefully Wednesday you'll get some. The grass certainly could use it.
Sorry no hrs for you Sandy. I hope you have a/c and aren't stuck sweating inside.
-
Christ if you ever want a good recipe for meatballs, just ask...........I will make sure I give it to you.........these are "real italian" that my family makes...............
-
Chabba - you are having a much different day today I hope. So beautiful today and the rest of the week is looking great.
Hello to all - hope you are not suffering with heat too much today. Reminds me to check on my FIL.
Sheila???? Are you dress shopping every day
-
It got up to 70 today, I'm happy. lol
-
Glad it was warmer for you today, Chabba. Ducky posted her recipe for meatballs and sauce - I haven't tried it yet - now it's too hot - lol. If you'd like to share your recipe, I'll take it.
-
I don't think it will even get down to 70 here tonight! Supposed to be over 100 tomorrow, ugh!
I''m dying to see Sheilas dress!
