Thinking Out Loud.....

We had a pretty decent rain yesterday morning, but boy did it make it humid for the rest of the day.
Glad you got the food stamps coming, Sandy. Thst will certainly help you out. THAT is the purpose they were meant for.
-
Rain is to the south of us today, in your area, Chris. We really need some rain!
-
The rain looks like it's trying to reach you, but even it it gets there, it probably won't rain long enough to give the lawns and plants the drinks they need. Poor lawns and plants... Maybe next week you'll get a thunderstorm that will give you beneficial rain.
-
NO RAIN!!
Heading to the Cape tomorrow for my familys annual beach bash. Can't wait!
-
My lawn is brown but I have been watering every other day my gardens.
-
it rained last night...and has been cool (upper 60's) all day...friend had phillies tickets, we didn't go cause of pending rain...
yep and the fs were in my account today so went and got food....yea....so excited....
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYBODY!!
Shiela you are missed!!
Sandy
-
Yay for food! Sorry no rain in Mass.
Hoping Sheila is having a wonderful time!
-
Have a great time tomorrow, Linda!
-
HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME LINDA!!!
-
I will! I hope you are all doing something fun!
I miss Sheila too, Can't wait to see the dress and wedding pics!
-
Is the wedding today or next Saturday?
-
I think it's today!
-
have no idea!!
-
Hope it was today and it was spectacular!!!
-
Did you release RPOC?
-
Would Sheila stay there after the wedding if the kids are on their honeymoon?
-
She way staying for two full weeks - second week in a condo, possibly with her second daughter. Where does someone who lives in Hawaii go on a honeymoon?
-
DD lives in Bermuda and they are going to the Caribbean on their honeymoon. LOL
-
Hi Chickies.........back home...........great weekend with my favorites..............was still hot down the shore when we got there on Thursday night, and a good part of Friday............then we got another friggin storm that woke us up a 3am and kept going till 3:45.............but WOW, did it cool it down.........actually felt good, but the pool dropped from 92 to 83.....................my two grandchildren said "its too cold to go in".........I wanted to belt them upside their little heads..................but we did have a great time..........pictionary....................and a new card game called Monopoly...........no not like the boring "board game"..............its a card game, and its fun........ picked it up at BJ's when I went on Thursday......................really a lot of fun.......makes you think..........
Good spaghetti dinner at 4, and then we left about 5 to come home..........great weekend.........going back down on Wednesday night, and will stay till I think Monday...................hope your all ok.....................
-
LOL Diane! Really!! I remember being in Antigua once and asked the natives where they go on vaca....there answer was New York City! Really!!! I would just stay home!
Glad you had fun Ducky!
-
Good Monrning. HEading to the gym. Looks like its finally going to rain.
-
I forgot that Sheila would have other family there. Of course she would stay. When my DS & DIL lived there, they took their anniversary trip to Maui. There are other islands and just getting away from the daily grind is all that matters.
-
Glad you had such a good time, Ducky.
Hope you had a good workout, Linda. It didn't rain, did it... I tried to sneak a run in this morning, knowing full well rain and/or storms were on their way. Had to cut it short (~1.8miles) - started thundering. Hope I can go back out later...
Are you still exercising, Diane?
Hope you feel better soon, Sandy.
(((((((TOL))))))) ♥
-
Now my prayers, and sympathy to the victims, and the families in Arrora.................God help them all
-
My sympathies to the families as well.
Spent 6 hours buying a car today. UGH! Got a Rav4 Limited with everything. I hope I like it. DS is pissed cuz I am trading my Volvo in and he will no longer have a car. hahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Get a job!!! Seriously, now I have to buy something for him. He is working at Natick Labs in Sept so he has to commute!
Hi Sheila!
-
Linda have fun excersising and do some for me
Shiela is missed
Glood luck with the new vehicle....
am ok ended up in the er need to remember to drink, was dehydraded with a fever and nausous...am fine now....have togo get something to drink now...
Have a good one!!
-
Oh Sandy - sorry to hear that you had to go to the ER!! Hope you are drinking something right now!
Sheila - we all miss you. I bet you've had an amazing visit.
Chris - I have been exercising. Why don't I like it? What the hell is the burn people say they feel?
Linda - I take it you let RPOC go to the wedding. Rav4 looks like a fun car! I hope you love it.
Deb - your turn is next - do you have everything?
Meece - I am guessing/hoping we will get all the details from our missing Sheila very soon. And pics!
We need to see that dress that spoke to her
My only news is that Shelby bit me with her new tooth! It seemed both painful and joyous at the same time. She looked so shocked that she could cause me pain.
-
When we were with Patch last month I was feeding him some goodies and had my finger in his mouth when he sneezed. It does hurt when their new teeth come togetehr over one's finger!
Sandy, hope you are feeling much better. I have a hard time remembering to drink enough. So sometimes I have to set goals of how much I need to drink by a certain time.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
-
Awwww - so cute - even when they bite you.
Sandy, sorry you had to go to the ER, but I'm glad they fixed you up. Hope you can drink just the right amount to keep hydrated, but not feel like you're going to float away... Hope you are feeling better really soon!
Ha - feel the burn! I think when you work your muscles to the point where lactic acid builds up in them, they burn. When you exercise aerobically, the lactic acid doesn't build up and you don't feel the burn. When you push yourself into the anaerobic zone, that's when lactic acid starts to build up and you feel the burn. That's my interpretation - here's an article: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/16/health/nutrition/16run.html
Congrats on the new car, Linda. Now what to get DS...
-
Sandy, HYDRATE!!!!! Being dehydrated is so misserable! Take care of yourself.
That's my understanding too Chris. Thats why its good to mix up your routine.
CUte story Meece! Valuable lesson!!
