Alooooooooooha
I read all the posts.....tonight is the first time I got to get on the computer ♥
Dress has been bought from Nordstham (sp) bought it out of desperation...and it's not my style...I was having nightmares
ready to throw the dress out.....fancy needs alterations........
OK...yesterday I took the bus to Waikiki
and
......went to Macy's found a dress that had my name on it...well maybe it's plain but I'm very comfy and the nightmare ended...so if I'm to plain to be the mother of the bride tough....The End.
I'm lving Hawaii all over again....I feel home here not a tourist..it's been slighthly warmish....went to the beach yesterday..spending tme in the pool...Wednesday DD and my friend arrive and I move from here to the condo.......
I missed you all...I might not be on the computer so don't worry....I'll do my best
Hugs and more huuuuuuuugs to all

So glad you found a dress with your name on it, Sheila! It must be the right dress if it is so perfect for you, plain or not. Plus - you don't want to outshine the bride...lol. (((((Sheila))))) ♥
-
So glad you found the dress with your name on it, Sheila. You did good by finding what YOU feel good in. Can't wait to see the pics.
-
Great news about the dress!! Enjoy!
-
Yea you found a dress....pix please..you sound so calm, that pleases me, no anxiety...wedding will be wonderful, can't wait to see the pix...take lots...thanks so much for checking in have been curious as to how you are.....glad you feel at home....seems like you were there a couple of months ago...
ducky.......how r u feeling?
Linda, whatcha doing?
Diane, glad to see you check in...
Chubba - 70.....97 here today....and I am going out to a friends' house, with a pool for dinner, love it...away from the boys...
Well got the eviction notice, it is official, have to find another place to live, can't afford this place anymore....lost all of my income but my SSD...they boys getting a job is a joke....have been here 13 years, but too big and they do nothing, they are not happy but oh well. Thank goodness I know people from where I used to work (for the county office of behavioral health), called them they are looking, called the landlord , they are so upset they have to throw me out but can't afford the 980.00 rent anymore, on 926.00 a month, less 99.96 toward my medical insurance....so really 826.00....applied for foodstamps, and waiting to hear from the appeal for the ssi that boys used to get....lost almost all of the income when they turned 18...1400.00 worth....cancer sucks....oh and Macy's not any hours for on call people which is what I am....gallbladder recuperation is coming along nicely tho....it will be ok....I know it just going slow....thanks for listening
Sandy

Sandy, wishing you well, I remember the hard times and how difficult it can be. (Hugs)
-
Enjoy the pool, Sandy. Hope the people you know can help you find a great new place that is affordable with your SSD. (((((((Sandy))))))) ♥
Hope the weather is still warmer than the other day, Chabba. If not, we can send you some of our heat... I need to go out - must get prepared not to be able to breathe...
-
Good to hear from you Shelia, glad you have a dress that you feel comfortable with. Hotter that HELL here, gonna have a whappa electric bill this month. OH well. I still have to bring up the straps on my dress and get one of those suck in the fat elastic thingys and strapless. Also DH and I have to get shoes and I need a pocket book to match the shoes. Maybe we will go to the mall this weekend. Time is getting close.

Sandy
-
Good luck getting the rest of what you need, Deb.
Sounds like you had a good time, Sandy - glad to hear it.
It rained for a few minutes around 3am. I got up to close the windows on our back porch - by the time I was done, so was the rain. Figures. I put on the local rv station channels that show the weather to see if it would rain more and it said it was 85 degrees at 3am. Ugh.
Glad the storms should cool things off a little today - hope none of them are bad for anyone.
(((((((TOL))))))) ♥
-
Can't wait for the storms. The heat index is over 100, hard to breaathe outside. GROSS!
-
It's storming here at my house and it's not even on the radar yet...
-
Raining buckets - wish I could send you some.
-
I wish you could send me some too. It's just dark here. I bet Deb got soaked!!! Hope DD is safe.
-
Did you get rain finally? One of our hardest hit towns is one town south of here and I'm not surprised. Storm was pretty good here, but it sounded like it got worse after it moved south and I guess it did.
-
no rain here yet.....chemo 5 hours, was there 3 hours before they started it...so frustrating...
how is everybody?
-
Hope it went OK Sandy, the wait must be so frustrating!
It rained but just briefly. I was in the middle of the storms, storms to the right, storms to the left, nothing over head!
-
Back to the shore tomorrow night, till sunday.............LE therapist tomorrow at 7am.......what the hell was I thinking with that appt...............dinner with my son tomorrow night for his birthday..............then down the shore with my daughter and her 2 kids................
Forgot to mention........remember i had to switch to Letrozole because of the "gap", well so far so good.........it isn't that long I'm on it, but if it stays as it is, its not so bad.................like that is going to happen.........my SE's on Femara didn't show up till around 3 months, and then the feet and leg shit started about 2 months ago..........right now feeling better..............but afraid to even say that
No rain here tonight.......but it was all around us.......heard the shore got hit.............hugs.
-
Just sprinkled here, a lot of black scary clouds and wind but nothing to brag about.
8 more days and I am off Arimidex, I will have extra leftover but not going to finish them up. What do you all think, should I just finish up the bottle?
-
It actually sprinkled here this afternoon.
I have a Mammo and MRI on Monday in LA and I was going to go down on Sunday to make a nice trip of it. My parents were touring in Canada and Dad has had a series of TIAs and they will be coming home. It is going to take them until Friday night before they get back here, so I think my weekend will be focused on them.
Hope Chemo went well for you, Sandy.
Deb, sounds like you are ready to be done with it. I say stop on schedule.
-
Sorry to hear about your dad, Meece. I hope the blood thinner does the trick and he doesn't have any more TIAs.
Hope you don't have any SE's from chemo, Sandy.
Hopefully you won't have any SE's from the new med, Ducky, but if you do, maybe you can go back and forth between them if you can get a few months in before the SE's kick in. Like metronomic chemo - maybe you could do metronomic AI's... just a thought. Good luck with the LE therapist.
Sorry you didn't get any rain to speak of, my Massachusetts friends
-
Deb, would get off that shit as quick as I could, and would smash the little suckers with a hammer, and laugh while doing it, wondering if t;hose little devils feel the pain like we do.................lol...................good heavens,, where did that come from.........................guess I'm in a mood toda;y.................hugs
-
Sheila - thinking of you enjoying the beach and the time with your girls
-
Me too!! Miss you Sheila!
-
The weatherman lied. It's still freaking HOT!!! They suck!
-
Miss you shiela
Ducky are you feeling ok, I would think the shore would make you feel better?

oh and yea I quailify for food stamps 526.00....thank goodness hate being poor, but have to wait until 8/6 to get them.....but better late than never...

HAPPY THURSDAY
-
Thought of you today, Sheila. Walked into my green house and it smelled like Hawaii, my plumeria is in bloom.
-
Good for you Sandy! I bet the extra money will definitely help.
I would love to smell that Meece!
-
Glad you got the foodstamps. Hope the SE's aren't too bad.
Linda - looks like it will be cooler for you today and you might get some rain. It's raining here now... Hope you've cooled off from yesterday.
