Deb how are you?
Sandy
-
Glad to hear you are healing well and that you might be able to get the pet scan. Hope you can continue your chemo break a little longer. Have fun at Pizza Hut!
-
Glad to hear your dr reports went well, Sandy. Hope you get the extra week off you need.
Sheila is in the air by now. Sorry I missed all the goodbyes.
Deb, take a pic of your fairy garden. I'd love to see it.
-
Goodbye Sheila!!!!!!!!
Glad to hear you are feeling good Sandy. I hope you get the scans. Enjoy your time off from Chemo.
Hi Meece!
-
it is 739pm, thanks Linda!!!
Hi Meece!!
-
Sandy--still hanging in there, still heartbroken over my fathers passing, I miss him, seems weird that after work I don't have to take a left on the highway to go see him. Mom & Dad are in the cemetary right down the street from me. Tomorrow I'll have to water the flowers, it has been hot and dry here in Massasstwoshits. I'm glad you are feeling better, I'm still having issues with my left tata that had the cellulitis, the skin below and to the left of my breast is still not normal. It takes a long time for this to go away.
-
Sheila - I am thinking of you and dresses and a beautiful day - don't even worry about RPOC. You both love your daughter and that is all that matters.
Sandy - happy to hear you are doing well.
Deb - your dad's passing is so recent, give yourself time to recover.
Linda - glad you have not been consumed by sharks!
Meece - are you sewing yet? I am so impressed you can make the dresses.
Chris - working out for you tomorrow, I owe you
-
Hi everyone!
Yes, I have sewed... a little, but nothing to write about. It was a little project for our fish. As I wrote that, I chuckled, no I am not making fish clothing. I made some pouches to put filter medium into so it could be easily removed for cleaning.
FDIL has not chosen fabric or patterns for the bridesmaid dresses, she'd better get a move on since we only have four months left and sewing takes time, especially when I am at work 10+ hours a day.
-
Wow! 24 hours and no posts. Is everyone okay?
-
yep!!
-
me too!
-
I'm good..............shore tonight.............Le this morning..........I look like a friggin Mummy..............had to be there at 7am.........what the hell was I thinking when I made that appt.
-
How did the appointment go, Ducky?
-
Hey Linda...........it went ok.......she did some MLD, and re-wrapped the arm........I was 1/2 alseep......did not get to sleep till 2, (laid there trying to solve the problems of the whole world)............and had to get up at 5:45.........so needless to say I was in no mood, for being Mrs. Happy...................When it was all over I realized I was in the hall on the way to the parking garage and forgot to get my ticket stamped..................went back, smiled, and said to the receptionist........sorry I forgot to get you to stamp this..........she did, and again I left for the garage..........put my shit in the car............went round, and round, down to the exit, and then could not find the f/n ticket to give to the person in the "cage"............I thought........great this 102 year old woman that doesn't crack a smile when you say "hello" is not going to believe me when I say "I had it and can't find it"........so short of clubbing her with my very heavily wrapped arm and hitting the gas I figured...............ok asshole take you time and look for it.........well then after not being able to find it, I looked through the opening on the wall, and saw the gate was up, and saw no one in the booth......................well I hit the gas, booked my ass out of that garage, past the gate, and I was home free.
Remind me to never make a 7am appt. again................lol.............guess what...........the f/n bandages were down over my fingernails by the time I got home.........and thatis a 10 minute ride....................you know this is never going to fly.........................so I put adhesive tape around the tips of the bandages which cover each and every finger. that lasted for about 15 minutes, so I pulled the tape off, and off came the gauze bandages that were once on my fingers..................what did I do you ask..................got the friggin sissors, and cut the entire bandage off my thumb, and the last thing the le therapist said was...............don't throw the gauze away when you take it off...................oh well, what did you say................guess i slept through that part too...............I hate cancer.....
-
We all hate cancer Ducky! I will look for your story on the news tonight. Headline: Crazy Mummy Lady skips out on parking fees!
-
LOL - Crazy mummy lady. LE SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!!!!! I feel for you, Ducky. The bandage is temporary until you get a sleeve and gauntlet right? I'm sure they suck, but I imagine they would be easier to deal with than a bandage. Hang in there, Ducky. Don't give up. ((((((Ducky)))))))
-
Heading to beach tomorrow............childless again! YAY!
-
I was bad eating today, but I did well exercising. I noticed this morning that it was a little cloudy, so I looked at the radar to see if it might stay cloudy. I couldn't tell, so I took a chance and went for a run. It stayed mostly cloudy most of the time so I got my run in. The sun KILLS me. Then I walked half a lap. Then I went for another run (2.5 miles) tonight. It's so weird how I feel so tired all the time - when I start to run, I feel like I can't move, but I was able to go out twice today.
So if anyone needs to use any of that exercise, help yourself! lol
-
you deserve the nutella if you ran twice today. I certainly too hot! I ate!
-
Leaving for the shore around 8 am.........weather is not that great, and we will be home tomorrow.........don't know why I'm bothering, but its a change of scenery, and beats sitting here by myself for the 2 days.........we usually go on Friday, but we're waiting for my GD............she is a nurse, and gets done her shift around 7..........raining right now.................have a great weekend everyone...........hugs
-
Hope the rain moves out fast and you have a nice time, Ducky.
