the "specialness" of it all that seems to be missing today. Our tree went up about 3 days before Christmas not a month ahead, holiday songs on the radio and in stores didn't start in November......we weren't sick to death of Christmas before December 15th. Most of the gifts were clothes, underwear and gloves...but there was always at least one toy or game that we squealed over. And of course let's not forget school vacation!
