Golden Girls because I believe it was (and still is in reruns) the funniest, wittiest show on TV.

My second favorite show is Bonanza. My mother didn't like TV but she loved Bonanza. I think of Mom when I watch the reruns.

2 no-iron men's dress shirts and a beautiful sweater as a gift for our Orthodox Christmas (Jan 7) grab bag.  It's a $40 min/max.   Around Thanksgiving, we throw in our names with a list of some of the things we'd like (sizes, color, etc) and what is the most fun is seeing who got the best sales.

    summer - swimming.........winter - downhill skiing

(Fitz - suggestion for getting rid of clothes:  have one box that's going out and one that says "maybe" - put in this one clothes you haven't worn but hesitant to get rid of then store box (or bag) in garage, basement, under the bed, wherever.  At the end of 6mos or a year, if you haven't gone looking for anything in the bag, don't open it, just take it to Goodwill, etc.  This has helped me get rid of lots of things)

(tweety....sending you some energy vibes - the aftermath of Sandy has been so long & difficult for you Easterners)

Theodore Roosevelt.....he rode right over, or around Congress, if he thought something was right and they dragged their heels. By Executive Order, he set aside so much land as protected National Parks, forests etc. that the Congress made a law saying that THEY must approve any further land set aside in that fashion. In the 8 days in took before the law went into effect, he executive-ordered millions more acres to be protected. The Speaker of the House fumed, "The President has no more respect for the law than a tom cat has for a marriage license."Cool

In honor of Martin Luther King Day (or just because), an act of service I did this weekend was......
