that sounds like an episode of Laverne and Shirley, Wellwater!
A bad blind date a recall....I was in college and had just been involved in a bad breakup. My friend convinced me to go to a big fraternity ball with a friend of a friend. I was not at ALL the sorority type, but figured it beat staying home Saturday night. Well, it soon became apparent why the guy couldn't get his own date, because he was a jerk. Drank alot, talked only about himself, and was overly agressive. When I told him to knock it off, he got up (off the couch we were sitting on), approached me menacingly and proceeded to pass out cold...THUNK....head first onto the floor. After a half-hearted attempt to rouse him, I walked home alone in the cold at 2 am.
A good blind date I went on was....
-
haha Laverne & Shirley!
I have not been on a blind date, so I have to pass....

My feelings about Hostess Foods (junk-food) closing down are............
-
I haven't eaten a Twinkie in about 30 years, so that doesn't affect me. I do hate to see any business shut down, and, unfortunately don't think shut down will close down the entire junk food industry in the United States.

Neither. the only thing i do with cranberries is freeze them and put them in my smoothies.
The next person will brine their turkey before cooking it.

the next person will turn up the over to 450, put the turkey in and then immediately turn the oven down to 325 (a trick I learned in an old cookbook that seals the moisture in)
-
True. the same works well for a roast.
The next person play games on Facebook.
-
false
the next person cooked turkey yesterday and made turkey soup today
-
no, but that sounds wonderful, I love homemade turkey soup!
(I think we have all gotten on the wrong game, we were doing 'The next person...' and I just now notice that it is 'Finish my sentence...' opps!)
I would describe my childhood home as ....
-
laid back and very basic. (Woodfire stove and no fridge!)
Im almost done with this tub of popcorn and i... -
Plan on starting to unpack stuff in my new apartment.
Sandy did a number on my old place, and I'm moved into my new place, on higher grounds and on the second floor!!!

What I liked best about this Thanksgiving was...
-
we hosted a small group for dinner...only 5 of us and even though we still made the same variety of dishes there was so much less chaos. I just don't enjoy hosting the huge groups anymore.
When it comes to ranking favorite holidays, I'd say Thanksgiving is about ___ on the list.

Today on Black Friday I...............
