I just ordered her CD for my granddaughter.

Fumi - Thank you for the beautiful picture. I loved all of them. Things are going great. Thank you, I'm glad you're still around.

Hello Cheryl, The fluid they put in the expander really helped with stopping the fluid from draining and it even felt good. It felt a little tight at first then that would ease up. That was due to the skin expanding back out. I was just glad to have a small boob. LOL Every time they add fluid is will fill tiht for about an hour or so then it will stop.

Karen, I;m sorry I missed your birthday. I hope you had a good one. Did you enjoy the german meal? You may answer this in a later post.
Leesa
-
Yes, my birthday dinner was wonderful. Thanks, Leesa!
Cathi, isn't Connie just the most precious little thing? She makes me cry!
Ladies, I woke up with a stuffy nose and sore throat this morning. It's progressively gotten worse over the course of the day. I ache so badly. Luckily, my dh is bringing home pizza for dinner. There's no way I can drag my pathetic self into the kitchen feeling like this.
Have a wonderful evening, everyone. Love you all!

Just had to come back and gush about my dear little Chase. He brought me a peanut butter cup to make me feel better. He told me he loved me and gave me the sweetest grin. I love that child!!
Hugs,

OK Ladies, I just got through all of the posts. There has been alot going on.
Sheila - I hope your dad is doing well and you MIL is still improving. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Gees, when it rains it pours, bless your heart. I know we have asked about your family but how are you doing. Don't forget to take care of yourself in all of this.
Cheryl - Your paintings are breath taking - just absolutely beautiful. You were talking about your favorite picture of your grandaughter, I have one of my son with his palomino horse when he was younger and learning how to break a horse. Chase, my son, is knelt down on the ground and the horse, Casper has his head down low and he is looking at Chase in the face and they look as if they are discussing the situation of the horse being broke - really it looks like Chase is trying to convence the horse to let him ride and not buck him off. It is my all time favorite. I have been looking for someone to paint that picture but I haven't been able to.
Judy -Hello.
Cathi - it has been 72 to 86 degrees here over the past few days and absolutely beautiful other than the strong winds. The only problem is I have been working from sunup to sundown and haven't been able to enjoy it.
Well, Ladies - I am so excited. The Surgery Center that I am helping build and run passed three surveys today YYYYYEEEEEHHHHH!!! The pressure of this has been enormous and has taken a lot of time and energy but it paid off today. We now will have two more surveys to pass within 90 days and we will be finished for a year. I'm so tired tonight I can hardly stay awake but I had to catch up on everyone and let you all know why I don;t write so much.
Have a good evening.

Karen hope you are feeling better. Chase is a sweet heart, peanut butter cups always help to make someone feel better.
We had a couple chilly windy days Leesa, but today high 70"s and mid 80's for the next 7-10 days, this the next few months are the best time. We are just in such a drought it is so bad, fire danger is so VERY VERY HIGH, they said on the news God forbid if a major fire started that it could be as bad as a horrible hurricane, we are so flat that there are no mountains or valleys to stop a fire -it would just go crazy. Have had a few up north more but they have been able to contain them. As much as I love the sun and warm weather we need rain so bad.
-
Cathi, we are expecting high temps in the 70's this weekend, a huge change from the lows in the 20s at the start of the weekend. Charlotte had about 6 inches of water (rain/snow/sleet) from Saturday til Tuesday that helped to prevent our drought from getting any worse.
Leesa, Update on my dad, he came home from the hospital yesterday and is doing well. I am going to see him and my mom tonight. My mil should be discharged from the hospital to a nursing home for a couple weeks of therapy and to get her strength back from not eating for over a week before going home. She lives by herself since her hubby passed away in 2007. thanks for asking about me. I have been calling my mil every couple of days to see how she is doing and I went Tuesday night with my sis to the hospital to see my dad. It is really no big deal on me since I am not in active treatment for my bc. I went to my yoga class last week but it was cancelled this week because the teacher's daughter was having a birthday party tuesday night.
Karen, I have had the stuffy nose thing going on for several weeks, it is just my sinuses trying to decide what to do and the weather is not helping them any.
I need to get back to work.
Sheila

Cathi- you take of yourself and I'll keep you in my prayers. We have had two large fires recently and hit burned a total of 4,000 acres. It is very dry here also and the chances of fires are high. Things are going ok but the water does get expensive - keeping the yard watered.
Karen, I'm glad your dad is doing better. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I didn't realize just how much stress or anxiety I was really having over work and getting the surveys completed. It was done and last night was like a huge weight coming off my shoulders. I slept so hard last night, my dear hubby said I snored. LOL. I don't even remember moving at all. This is the first morning I have woke up without feeling tired and hurting. Amazing isn't it?
Sue how are you doing?
I hope everyone is feeling well and doing fine. Hello to everyone.

Hi my wonderful sisters! Please say a prayer for my mom today. She goes in for her biopsy in about 15 minutes. She refused to let me take her. She's one independent little lady! I'm not too horribly worried, but it's still unnerving.
Thanks everyone! I love you all!

Praying for mom and you too Karen.

Nets,
So glad your side effects have abated for the time being. Hope you are getting lots of rest to ease the tiredness.
I just watched Todd on ice - hilarious! I loved it!
Lisa, I hope you have some time off this weekend to get on top of this bug you're fighting. Soon the warmer weather will arrive and coughs and sniffles will hopefully disappear - they'll probably all head south of the equator!
Sheila, glad you got some rain to ease the drought. Please send some down here! So glad your dad is doing well and that your MIL is making progress.
Dink, isn't a good sleep wonderful? Glad you finished those surveys. Hope you get some rain soon too. My father used to say that drought sweetens up the grass for the sheep and cattle - must have been his way of trying to be positive during lean times!
Karen, a peanut butter sandwich served with love from your darling son - what sheer delight! Hope you are feeling better now.
Cathi - enjoy that beautiful weather! I can just imagine how perfect it is there.
Love to everyone - not just those I've mentioned!

Hi Girls,
I need some help, you all have got the picture on how much the hubby and I love each other, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me (except the girls), but UGH I am frustrated and right now even a bit angry - have the mad belly going on.
He is down a salesman at the lot, for about the past 3/months now, the guy left to find a job that "paid" not just comission, Ed has not looked to replace him, says sales are slow because of the economy and the1 others he has and the lot person can get things done. Well thats not happening, Mr Ed is getting "everything" done, he is there from 9AM to ??????? many many days, just called to say still there - he was sorry and he would see me later, he felt bad and he knew I was upset, I could tell by the way he was talking to me, I have told him he is working to hard and that it PO's me that the 1 salesman he has take advantage of him, always in late for one reason or another, 3 hour lunches, leave early, doesn't do paper work correctly, etc, etc.
He used to be home at least half days on Tuesday and Thursday, went in every other Saturday to
do end of week stuff, and hardly never did he go on Sunday even though the lot is open. Well all thats changed, and I don't like it, guess I am being some whinny little teenager, I should be greatful I guess, but the truth of the matter is I miss him, I could go in anytime to see him, but have always thought his work is his work and he doesn't need some sappy wife hanging around.
I am frustrated.
-
Cathi, I can understand why you are upset. You were seeing so much more of him and now that together time as been reduced - a lot by the sound of it. No wonder you miss him. Every relationship is different and people vary enormously in how much time they need to spend together. Some people don't mind having long periods of time where they don't see their spouses/partners but I would say that these would be in the minority. I only see my partner at weekends as he works and lives in Sydney during the week. I do keep reasonably busy but sometimes it's really hard and it's then that I think that it doesn't do our relationship any good.
Sorry, I don't have any suggestions. I guess he feels that he is being careful in these economic times but there needs to be a balance. He may feel that he is showing his love for you by working overtime. I'm sure the others will have some suggestions.
-
Oh - and Margot is so unbelievably CUTE! I bet she smells beautiful too - I love the smell of young puppies! And I'm not talking about the shampoo - just their natural smell - makes them even more lovable.
-
Cathi,
I think you should go and visit him at work right now and show him what he' s missing! That'll get him home. Good luck. I would miss him too!
-
Cathi, I feel for you because I've lived this exact scenario--only I've never had him here for more than a couple of hours every night before bedtime. Rhuel usually leaves in the morning around 6am and comes home around 7 or 8. During the busy construcion months, he sometimes comes home after we've gone to bed. I know it's frustrating. When we were first married, it bugged the crap out of me. Now I just accept it. ((((((((Cathi))))))))) I know it's just temporary for you.
Hugs,
Karen
-
Oh! And Margot is the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Okay ladies. I need honesty from you all. I looked up Rhuel's ex-fiancee (someone I've never met) on Facebook and sent her a message to which she responded. For those of you who didn't know this, Rhuel and I dated from my senior year of high school through all four years of college. He was really easy going. The life of the party--it took a lot to piss him off. We were apart for 13 years, during which he had several girlfriends and one fiancee, and I had another husband. Now, though, he is a ticking time bomb. Very cranky a lot of the time. I wanted to know how he was while they were together (1994-1999). Was I out of line to contact her? She seems really nice. Oh boy! If Rhuel knew I'd contacted her, he'd have a FIT! She told me that he stalked her after they broke up and she had to take a restraining order out on him! Yike! More than I needed to know! What do you guys think?? Was I wrong to contact her??? I just wanted some insight into why he's so different from how he was before.
Hugs,
Karen

Hi Cathi
It's the same here - all the guys I know who are self employed are just about killng themselves to keep their heads above water. It's not healthy and an awful strain on the families.
Mee Margo is a poppet, she looks so sorry for herself having being bathed! I, too, love the smell of puppies. We has an English Springer Spaniel when I was young, who has 3 litters and I loved the smell of their breath!!!! It's unreal how much these wee creatures enrich us.
Hope your wee man gets a break and that things improve. It probably doesn't help to know that so many others are in the same situation, all over the world. Good luck with the business. And wee Margo will be with you shortly, demanding attention, sleeeping in the crook of your arm and being house trained!
God bless.

wow...I am missing allot here! I am at work. I don't even log on at home...I get home..and I am soooo tired. I don't like this stupid bug, or whatever it is I have. I have had a headache now for 3 days. The weather is warmer..so maybe that will help..like Jane said.
Anyhow..caught up a little bit. Cathi....I feel for you! I know you and your hubby have a wonderful relationship...and so not having him around is hard for you. I admire your love for each other..wish I could have that..but...this is temporary..and remember..at least your hubby has a fantastic work ethic. Just talk to him about how you feel and tell him not to let other workers take advantage of him. Maybe you two could go out for lunch on his work days. Sorry...I know how hard it is not to have him around. Luv ya Cathi!!
Karen..wow...reading yours, kinda bothered me...to be honest. I don't like that "he is ticking time bomb"! I have lived with that for many many years (as has Cathi) and that is NOT GOOD. I don't think it's wrong for you to have contacted his ex. If she seems nice...no problem. The fact that she got a restraining order...that too is a scary thing. I feel for you Karen...I have felt it in some of your posts..that he seems to be rather hard on you. Darn these flippin men!! We all need ones like UB and Cathi's hubby...where are they??? I can't find one.
I am fed up with the dating thing. The guy I went out with..we had a 2nd date planned, he claimed he was sick..haven't heard a word..not even a text. Probably found someone better. I don't like this garbage!!
Ok...me and my headache must get back to work.
I'll try and check in later sisters.
I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
xoxo
