they're coming down here on Saturday. I can't wait!

OH Anna! I'm so glad you can post pictures ....He is just the cutest thing. I love those deep eyes he has. The girls are going to chase him all over day care later
I'm really liking my job. I did the second highest sales yesterday, and my boss called me and told me how pleased he was with me. Turns out he was sick and I had to open and run the shop alone on my second day at work. LOL, good thing I knew what to do.
I must say, it gave me a great sense of pride. Something I really needed.
-
Anna, the picture of him sitting on the bed, that should be the avatar next time you change.
-
Congratulations, Mary Lou! I'm glad your boss appreciates what you are doing. I bet you will meet lots of nice people through your work.
-
Hey sisters!
First, ML, I am determined to get the lbs off of me. The scale keeps going the wrong way! I'm there with you, girl!
Second, I have an ulcer! YAY!!! I actually am glad, because I was of course worried that it was cancer. The sad thing is I have to stop drinking coffee and caffeine! Including CHOCOLATE! ARGH!
Third, I haven't sent out your cards yet! I need to find all your addresses!Fourth-Anna, sweet cherub baby is just too darned cute. I want to hug him!
Fifth, Odalys and Marg, I haven't forgotten about you! How's life going in the warm states?
Gotta go and package some gifts to send out! Love and prayers, Deb

Just a drive by, I have to go back to sleep for a few hours. This is the Christmas shot of Hayden and Sebastian. His uncle Andy had him cracking up....
-
ML-just wanted to tell you I am on a 10 day glucose monitor for a diabetes watch, so we are in the same crap-boat. I have been eating leftover Nutrisystem for the past 3 days and exercised for the past two. My glucose was at 123 the day they did the test, at 113 the next day, at 93 yesterday, and at 103 today. I did eat dinner at 9 pm last night (out Christmas shopping).
I'm pretty freaked out, they said my cholesterol was high and triglycerides, too. I've never had these issues before. Perhaps it's because my weight has yo-yo'd a LOT this past year. I don't know. Anyway, I am down about 4.5 lbs, and adamant that THIS WILL NOT BE WHAT GETS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas to you guys! I am ashamed to say that cards will be shamefully lateLove you all, Deb
-
Hi girls. We are up at the cabin skiing with the kids. More wine please! LOL it can be exhausting. Can't wait until they can all put on their own gloves and boots......
wonderful weather and good fun
wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Hello dear sisters. I haven't been on here much lately due to lack of computer time. Also, our wireless network is down so we are all sharing a computer...not much fun. Wishing everyone a great Christmas!
Here is a video I know you will enjoy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUtPKbMwnRo
Love and hugs.

Very cute ODY

Okay ladies, I wanted to wish you all a VERY merry and blessed Christmas.
My beloved hubby wowed me this year. He likes to give the impression that he doesn't care about this sort of thing and blows me away.
He had my mother's engagement ring diamond reset into a beatiful necklace.
He had her wedding band cleaned and reset.
He took a bunch of old cassette tapes I recovered from my Dad's house after he died and had them put onto CD's.
He bought me a Roomba.
He bought me an amazing new printer.
He got me tickets to see WICKED!!!
I got him some stuff. Measley stuff in comparison. WOW. Oh, and there were MATCHING JAMMIES waiting for us last night. We all wore penguin jammies today.
Love and prayers to you all. I love you so very much! Deb

OH Deb, sounds like a wonderful Christmas. How was Daniels reaction? We went to Cory's to watch the babies open their gifts. Sebastian was in awe, looked over all the boxes as if he were reading for directions. He was so funny. Very serious.
Hayden on the other hand got a big kick out of the paper and the noise of her toys. I got her a baby doll, it is her first. She also got a new tooth, now she has two and is working on two more up top.
I'm going to watch the kids for Jessie tonight, she has had very little sleep. I have a feeling I won't get much either, but I can nap after they go home...LOL
I will post a few pictures......
These children are such a blessing, and I'm so very grateful that I am here to share in their lives.
He loves to be in the shop with his daddy. He is on his daddy's motorcycle.
And 4 wheeler , OH NO A SMILE !

OOOhhh! You are giving me babyitis with those little cutie pies!
-
Hello ladies. I hope you don't mind me dropping in but I had a question for you. I am 5 months out from last TC treatment. My pre-chemo hair was straight. I now have the chemo curly hair. My question: Does it go back to being straight? If so about how long before doing so? Thanks, Karin
-
Hello all. Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. I too have babyitis...LOL The babies are so cute! OMG- by the time Steven makes me a grandmother I will be too old to carry them.
Karin - Hello. No problem you dropping in on us. Most of us struggle with our hair post chemo. It took me about a year for all the curly hair to grow out. I kept getting it cut short to even it out. For a while, I had curly sides and back and very thin top. It is now the same as it was before chemo but it's taken 2.5 years. Good luck with yours.
-
Mine is now the same as before chemo. I actually really miss the curls. They made for care-free hair every day: wash, fluff and go. Now I have had to go back to blowdrying.
-
But ain't it great to have hair?
-
OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!! I just want to kiss those babies and their tummies!!!! SWEET pics!
Karin-Please jump in any time you want! I did the extreme with my hair. I spent the money and got it chemically straightened. It was the greatest thing I did for myself since having chemo.
My hair was stick straight, thick, shiny, and if I styled it, my best feature! After chemo, I looked like I was the crazy cat lady. My hair was SOOOOOOO curly, it stuck straight out on either side of my head in an extreme "flip" hairstyle. I'd spend a few hours-yes, HOURS blowdrying it and once it grew a little I used a straightening iron. I'd walk out of the house, and I could literally feel it go "BOING!" as it sprung back to the crazy cat lady hairdo.
I fully admit it cost a lot to do it, and it took some time. It was a little frustrating to not be able to wash it or tuck it behind your ears for 3 days. However, it was completely worth every penny.
My hair literally grew two inches longer after the straightener. I could suddenly tuck it behind my ears and put it in a ponytail.
I had that done last April, and I am ready to do it again.
-
Here are some Christmas pix of my "babies" My sister got them the Rock Band game and it is so fun!
-
I love the snowflakes in the eyelashes!
Where is Nancy? I miss her.
-
Anna & Marg ~ The pictures of the
children are so sweet. I love the snow flake
lashes.
Just beautiful babies. Deb, chime in with Danial .
I can't believe
how much they have all grown . But as we
watch these children grow, we know
just how fast time is passing. But I must
say, I'm so grateful to be here to watch
Are the winds up today in your neck of the woods?
Here they're going to be about 60 mph, I
woke up this morning to very loud wind.
We will be going out tonight to celebrate
New Years and my brothers 50TH . I'm a little nervous
being on the interstate for over two
hours in high wind, but also excited to be going out dancing
after so long. Did I say "I LOVE TO DANCE"
And believe it or not it is Michael's and my first New Year out.
Sad but true.
Hope you all have a Happy New Year.......
-
OMG! One of our fence panels just blew off
the fence post...it is 6x8 and very heavy. Hope
the winds die down before we leave this afternoon.
The place we're going is serving dinner from
6pm till 8pm. We were going to leave at 3, but Michael
said we may want to leave sooner because of the wind.
Wish us luck
-
Good luck and stay safe Mary Lou. I hate driving in the wind!
We just found out we are going to the Rose Parade!!
It will be an early morning, but we have seats in the grandstands. A friend is in charge of one of the floats and he found out he had extra tix. His wife is a friend of mine, a fellow bc survivor. They are the nicest people
Hope you all have a wonderful New Year. Dance your butt off Mary Lou I am so glad you and Michael or going out!
-
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy 2009. Remembering all the sisters we've lost this year and special ache in my heart for Mami. May they all dance in heaven tonight. I hope 2009 is the year researchers find a cure for cancer!
Love and hugs,
-
Happy New Year dear sisters!
-
God bless our sisters!!!!
