Jeeps, hope DA FLU goes elsewhere and you all get to go on your trip, Margerie.
Guess where I am going on Friday? Yep, up to see my treasures. Gotta help my daughter teach this little guy how to fall asleep not on the breast only.

Hello sisters. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. It was the first Thanksgiving without mom and honestly I could feel her presence. I did the cooking and my sister, dad, and uncle came for dinner. It was a nice dinner. the turkey was a hit! My cousin showed up with her 2 y/o and he kept us going. I had forgotten how much energy two year olds have. Even Steven was exhausted after running around after him.
Happy Thanksgiving and let the shopping begin!!!

Good Black Friday everyone! Is everyone still recovering from yesterday? I have a ton of dishes to do but will take it easy today. The dishwasher can take care of the dishes.
DH was up in the middle of the night. He just had to get out there to those early sales. LOL! He went to several stores but the lines where a mile long and people had been camping outside the stores all night long. So, he went to Walmart and just as he was reaching for a Plasma TV a mob of women almost ran him over. LOL! So, he decided to go to Best Buy where he ended up buying a 42" Plasma HD TV for half the price of the sale price. I just knew he would return with a TV. He had been complaining that our TV was a little dated. You should have seen his face when I told him he would have to pay $10 a month more just to get HD from DirecTV...priceless!Enjoy your day. Hugs to all.

ODY! You will love DWTS next season on the big screen! It is so much better.
We had a pretty good Thanksgiving. My step daughter came home, and we also went over to see the grand babies.
Ody, I have to laugh at the 2 year old....I watch Sebastian which will be 2 on the 11TH of Dec. And Hayden who is just 6 months. Talk about being worn out....LOL I could sleep for hours after watching those two.
That is why a mother should be young....
I watch the children every Tuesday and Wednesday for about 6 hours. Jess got a little part time job.
Hope all had a good day....
Nancy, and Lat , it's is time to check in .......
Ody, enjoy the new set....
-
We are on the lookout for a new flatscreen too. I think our current tv is 10 years old, a real dinosaur!!! But, we need ski equipment now, maybe at the end of the year.
We are off to go see my sister and her family in Napa. Love the holidays!!

I'm up in Boston and am enjoying every minute of my little laughing cherub. Got here yesterday, so I did no shopping. Never go out on the Friday after Thanksgiving anyway. Just can't face the crowds, and for some reason I don't really like shopping anymore.... Thanksgiving was good, but I had to go fast on the cleaning up since I was traveling the next day. Hubs tells me that his son (my stepson, a sweetie) left the toilet running all night and now the well is dry. Yes, we live waaaaaaay out and are on well water. I'm secretly glad I don't have to deal with it. Miss little dog and hubs, but don't miss the drama of no water and of finding out whether the pump is now burned out and has to be replaced or not. Good thing he didn't leave the toilet running the night before Thanksgiving; we had my parents, brother and brother's SO. That would have been awful!
I am thankful for each one of you, my dear hearts.

We have snow! I need to get some boots for Sebastian....
His birthday is next Tuesday.
Have you all put up a tree? Michael is getting mine out tomorrow while I'm watching the babies. If it doesn't snow to much.

Hi everyone, I am behind on our posts here, but wanted to peek in and say hello!
Also, do you guys wanna do a gift exchange again?
Time for bed, Daniel has a big doctor appt tomorrow (botox in arm and leg).
-
I have a little something I'm making for each one of you. I really need to get a move on it. December is already here.
-
Still in Boston. My daughter started work today and I'm sure all of us remember how hard that was. She's job sharing and will be working two and a half days for half her normal salary. The baby is sleeping a little better now, and they found a really nice sitter, so I am thinking they will be fine. Since I don't want to get in the sitter's way I will go out and do some shopping in the cute boutiques here in Cambridge. Some of these stores are really nice. Still, there are some empty store fronts here for the first time, the economy issues are apparent no matter where you go. I return to Virginia tomorrow afternoon. I wish I could stay longer but hubby acts almost like a baby when I go away. The children will be coming for 2 weeks later this month, so I guess I can handle leaving. Lots of love to you all.
-
Anna, it will be wonderful having them for the holidays. Take lots of pictures! He is just tooooooo cute.
The weather has calmed down, so your flight should be smooth. Hope you are coming into Dulles. Closer to home.
-
Hi sisters!
Just a quick note, because I am so behind with you all!
I went out on Black Friday, and came home a very grumpy woman! I was at Toys R Us at 5:30, and was in line for over an hour. Crazy. I could only make it to one more store (Carson's) before I was about to go crazy. Mean people are just sucky! Why would people try and cut in line?! Are we in grade school!?!?!?
Still in shock over the Wal Mart employee that died. Awful.
We had a busy but wonderful day yesterday. We took Daniel to Chicago to get Botox (this is his 3rd time). It helps his CP and tone issues with his muscles. Well, even though we "practiced" for two days with his doctor kit, it was still hard for my baby. It breaks my heart to see him really in pain like that.
I had to hold him across my lap, Greg was the "entertainment" and tried to distract him, and WHAM, they'd inject him. He choked back his tears for his leg injections (my big boy!).
His forearm injection HURT him. I could feel his little body stiffen and he burst into tears.
My poor baby.Well, afterwards, we went to look at the windows at Macy's. Next, we went over to the news station, where they have glass windows so people can look in and watch the news team in action.
We stood there waving and smiling at the news team, and they put the camera RIGHT ON Daniel and I! It was sooooo cool!Afterwards, we went to see Santa at Daley Plaza, which delighted Daniel completely! He was so proud of his candy cane treat afterwards, too!
We got home late, but it was a great day.
Okay, please let me know if you guys want to do a little Secret Sister exchange, or are we all watching our dollars?
