"Fortunately, Unfortunately"
Comments
-
fortunately, gorillas love Bananas Foster, so they lashed palm trees together with some ivy and made us an escape raft.
-
Unfortunately, the silverback wanted to come with us on the raft
-
Fortunately he ate so much of the dessert that he fell into a deep sleep.
-
unfortunately, he was so heavy with sleep (and bananas foster) that he tipped the raft and off we plunged into the waves!
-
Fortunately, we were able to clamber back up onto the raft and make our escape.
(No animals were harmed in the telling of this tale... the silverback swam back to shore.)
-
Unfortunately we had no compass, and no sense of direction either.
-
Fortunately, we were schooled in astronomy, so as night fell, we headed north by way of the North Star, figuring we'd hit land eventually.
-
Unfortunately, it got cloudy, we couldn't see the stars and lost track of our guiding light.
-
Fortunately, we heard waves crashing ahead of us and realized we were approaching land
-
Unfortunately there were huge, jagged rocks between us and the shore
-
Fortunately, the huge jagged rocks turned out to be Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones
-
Ha! Unfortunately, they were not in any shape to help us get to shore.
-
Fortunately, we had some of that special "pot" soup left over our KP duties on board the sub and that seemed to perk them up
-
Unfortunately, the soup had gone without refrigeration too long and made them sick.
-
Fortunately, throwing up did them a lot of good, purged them of all drugs, and they were able to help us ashore
-
Unfortunately, we had landed on the strange island of Dr. Moreau.
-
Fortunately, Dr. Moreau had a thing for girls in sailor suits, so he welcomed us warmly and even cooked dinner.
-
Unfortunately, dinner was one of his unsuccessful genetic experiments.
-
Fortunately, one of us snuck away during supper and managed to find a telephone; she promptly radioed the Coast Guard.
-
Unfortunately, one of Moreau's henchmen had intercepted our phone call and only pretended to call the Coast Guard; despite the warm welcome the evil doctor now turned against us.
-
Fortunately we were able to escape into the jungle growth.
-
Unfortunately, we didn't bring a machete and were soon entangled in vines.
-
Fortunately the silverback from the previous island had followed us and he came to our rescue.
-
Unfortunately, before the silverback could build us another raft the evil Dr Moreau and the genetically modified Rolling Stones nabbed us
-
Fortunately the silverback had brought his whole tribe (is that what you call a group of gorillas?) who were able to capture and tie up the evil doctor and stones with jungle vines.
-
unfortunately, the phone lines were torn down in the melee, so we and the gorillas were still stuck on a remote island!
-
Fortunately, one of us had a sat phone and was able to call for help, and in the meantime we raided the evil doctor's well-stocked larder (funny how food solves all problems)
-
Unfortunately we were afraid to eat any of the food because the packagings ertr marked with strange and sinister symbols.
-
Fortunately, the silverback couldn't read so was not intimidated by the markings on the package and tore them open so we could see what was inside.
-
Unfortunately all the food was spoiled.
