Hello Ladies,
If you know of anyone who is talking about going I would love to hear from them by 5/16. We will have stragglers after that date and thats fine but I would like to have the majority of us squared away. PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR ROOMIES ON PAGE 1 OF THIS THREAD AND CHAT ABOUT WHO WILL BE THE ROOM LEAD, THIS WILL BE THE PERSON WHO BOOKS YOUR ROOM. IT IS USUALLY THE COST OF 1 NIGHTS STAY. IF YOU ARE THE ROOM LEAD YOU SHOULD DISCUSS HOW AND WHEN YOU WISH TO BE REINBURSED BY YOUR ROOMIES. I HAVE INCLUDED USER NAMES SO THAT YOU MAY PM EACHOTHER OR POST ON THIS THREAD. THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE ONCE WE LOCK IN A PRICE YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK IN ORDER TO HOLD YOUR ROOM. MAY 16 WILL BE THE DATE I PLAN ON POSTING HOTEL INFO.
If you have any question please dont hesitate to PM me. We are still looking at the Paris hotel as a STRONG possibility. Thanks Ladies!!
See ya in Vegas!!!!

I was looking at the Paris website. As far as shows, there just isnt anything there. Kind of disappointing so if you want a show you will have to go to another hotel. Just thought I would share that.
Teresa
-
Teresa, the hotels are pretty close. I've never stayed only within the hotel I'm booked in...
There are two definite "strips" though, the new one and Freemont Street. I've avoided Freemont as it is known to be rough.
-
Barb,
I was in Vegas last June and while the hotels appear close...they are still pretty far apart because of their size. But still doable for a show. We saw Ka while we were there, we stayed at the MGM and the show was soooo amazing. As far as Freemont, we went there one night and had so much fun, I absolutely loved the Golden Nugget and found the street filled with amazing artist and it was a blast. I felt safe but I am always careful.

Wow, you are braver than me! We were getting accosted by pimps trying to get my husband to use their girls, right in front of me! I kept saying "this is my husband" and they said "hey, we're talking to him, lady!"
I've wanted to see the laser show on Freemont, but the closer we got the seedier it got. Maybe I'm just too old to accept it when there are such wonderful shows and beautiful hotels within easier walking distance. I stayed at the MGM when they still had the witch flying around saying "I'll get you my little pretty!" They had to stop as it was scaring the kids! hehehehhee (Vegas ISN'T for kids! Disney Land is)
-
Had a long discussion with my DH about the Vegas trip and he says I do need to go for my soul..so we decided that if we can swing it, he'll come too and he insists on being my roommate! LOL...He says he'll entertain himself for the weekend so that I can hang with you girls and that we can spend a couple of extra days just relaxing and regrouping before or after the Ta Ta weekend. We do get really good package deals from here so as soon as the hotel has been confirmed I can see what deals we can get from here. Maybe our DH's can bond Barbe!!!
-
That is great Yvonne
I guess that means that me, Laura and Deborah will have to look for another roomie....
Sounds like you have a great and caring hubby.....
(((hugs)))
-
Linda / Yvonne - Maybe this will work out because I'm in with Rene & company and I am pretty sure she needs the room for her daughter?
-
Yvonee sounds great! I know that whatever hotel we decide on, I'll have to find the package deal for it rather than book directly. We may have to wait until the last minute, I've been checking some prices and right now Paris would cost about $2,500 with flight for 3 nights!
-
Daisy, that's PER PERSON !!! Stupid, eh? We've flown to Vegas with hotel for $600 each before. Y'all Mericans are trying to keep us away! Ain't yah?
-
Daisy, just to add, Yvonne and I are from Canada....
-
Can I take Yvonne's place? The Person going with me is not going and I don't want to stay alone!! Please, I am a non-smoker, non-snorer and don't move around much...And I know Las Vegas pretty well.. JUDY.
-
That didn't come out right...NO ONE can take the place of Yvonne!! I meant can I have her space in the room?
-
Judy
I am sure no one thought you meant to TAKE Yvonne's place....I knew what you meant....you are welcome to join in our room if the others have no objections and I cannot believe that anyone would object sharing a room with you.....you don't snore!!!! LOL
Just remember that you are going to tattoo my eyebrows......hehehehe
Got to get my body ready for my revision in the morning (shave legs and all that kind of stuff)
Linda
-
Breeze through that revision, girl! Hope your surgeon gives you the breasts dreams are made of!
-
Judy
I already have dream boobs, PS is the one not satisfied.....LOL
-
O MY....
I though Journey was staying in our room Linda... so I told Stephaanie that I thought our room was full when she asked about 5 hours ago... EEEKKKKK....
I feel bad.. I just told Judy it was full too...eeeekkkkkk
I think we have a popular room.... I say... Judy... Stephanie... and Journey all get a room and then Linda, Laura and Deborah will have our room... WE can get joining rooms...LOL....
This way if any other gals need a room.. we each have a side of the bed ready... what do you all think????????????????????????????????????????????//
If this works... I need Judy... Journey.... and Stephanie to say yes here... and we will get Tracey dear to put you all together on page one...

-
PS.. Linda and Deborah... I will put the room on my credit card and you two can pay me in Vegas... I am fine with that!
-
I'm so confused!
-
Hey girls..I was interviewed for Fox news' "better" segment. It will air in June. They will also be running part of it as a commercial throughout the whole month along with being on their website and youtube! I talked about our TaTa group and how we are meeting in Vegas BayBee!!
Susie had to go back to the hospital yesterday. URGH she spends more time there than at home! She has developed a staff infection from her hernia surgery...which was caused from her hysterectomy surgery. URGH! Plus she has a touch of the flu on top of it all. Poor thing!
We haven't heard from our roomies, so I will try to contact them. Susie and I don't know them and I haven't seen them post on here, so I will do some research later.
I had to go in today for a little in office surgery. I had a little hole that needed sewing up on my left breast. If it isn't one thing it's another. :-)
Anyway I hope all is well!
HUGS! JazzyJ
-
Hey Journey, it sounds like it's me and you kid..! I'll say yes to anything...Oh that didn't come out right..

Stephanie, you in?
-
Jazzy, way to go with the "better" news! Love it! you'll have to post a link to the Foxs news station when it airs!!
-
Oh Don't you KNOW IT!!! I just hope they don't cut out the TaTa part!!
Any news on your contest Lisa??
-
Judy you are too funny!!! A boss of mine used to say that anyone could be replaced, so I have heard that for many years...LMAO!!
You are right Barb, we will have to watch for those specials as they come out. Usually in the fall the specials are quite plentiful. $2500 is just a tad steep so I hope that we find a good deal. My son and his wife went for around the $700 dollar mark a couple of years ago, so I know that the sales do come. Jazzy...sorry to hear about your little surgery...healing vibes going out to you!! Please share the link to the Fox site when you get it...I'd love to see you on T.V. Are you doing an autograph session in Vegas! A celebrity in our midst!!!
-
Yvonne funny...sure an autograph for a drink! ;-) I think ALL of us are celebrities!!
WE ALL ROCK!!
Thanks for the healing vibes....gotta start taking the dang antibiotic. I swear I have a pharmacy on my counter!!
-
Jazzy.. let us know the time....or what the WWW. is... how cool!
-
Sounds good Jazzy! You'll have to make sure you are off the antibiotics by then!!! LOL
-
Well my professional experience has taught me that having a drink with antibiotics helps me sleep. :-) Haha
-
Wow, this forum has got some ENERGY!
LisaLisa and ReneeS...are you guys still up for gettting a room? Lemme know. If the room rates are as cheap as they seem to be, I'd be up for 2/room or 3/room.
Jazzy, totally awesome about the Fox interview. yeah, we're all gonna want that link!
And yeah, Lisa...what's the scoop with the Dodgers Game?
