Ladies,
I am officially joining this trip. I have given Tracey my information. I will be bringing a friend of mine (Kristina) with me as well. We have booked our flights and will be there Friday through Monday. We can't wait to meet everyone. For anyone coming from the NW, check out Southwest Airlines. I got 77.00 each way from Seattle to Las Vegas!
I very much look forward to meeting all of you.

I am going to be putting together some name tags to take to Las Vegas. I would like to put our SCREEN NAMES as well as our REAL NAMES on the tags. Is this okay with everyone? I was thinking our real names will be prominent centered in larger print and our screen names underneath. Any objections? Any other recommendations?
-
Only recommendation is a big YES YES YES.... Thank you Deborah! Those will be needed..:)
-
You ladies are the greatest... Yes Yes Yes : - )

HI there - I can hardly keep up w/ these posts, but wanted to say YES Deborah, sounds like a great idea!
-
Perfecto mundo!
(everyone else said okay....)

Dear Tracey:
Sounds like fun. I would like you to throw my name into the hat. But I will definitely need my own bed. Having the Diep in June I don't know how great I will be feeling. I am also a very LIGHT sleeper. So count me in for my own bed in a room of two - If that is possible. I want to be well rested if we are going to PARTY!!

Sassie62,
Wonderful...welcome! I will add you but right now I dont have another person for a 2 person room to put you with, but that will change I am sure! Check the 1st page of this thread and PM me if you have further questions.

Sister Tracey... just a reminder....
.... you are going to have to regroup ladies. Some have dropped off and some are now bringing their HUSBANDS..... boy oh boy...hehe...So... I just wanted to remind you. Maybe all the gals who are going FOR SURE can PM Tracey one more time.. and she can redo and/or fix the list...
We also need to find out if the rooms allow 4 adults or only 2......( I know Deborah is looking into this, via an associate she works with)...
I look forward to this trip, and want every single BC.org lady who wants to attend.. to have that choice and feel great about it!!! WAHOOOOOOOO
The Ta Ta Sisterhood.. 2009!

Hi TaTa Sistahs!! It's a done deal! Susie and I have our airline tix!! WOO HOO!!
We will be flying in early Fri Sept 25th and leaving late on Monday Sept 28th.
Let me know if anybody will be joining us flying out/in PDX.
Also those who are arriving around the same time can share a cab or do we know if the Paris offers a hotel shuttle to and from airport?
We might consider renting a cabana!
Private outdoor cabanas featuring sitting areas, tables and chairs, refrigerators, ceiling fans, towels, and cable TV offer an extra measure of service for guests who prefer a more secluded poolside experience
Just an fyi-It looks like the pool at the Paris closes at 6pm.
OK GETTING WAY EXCITED!!
As Laura puts it, We are the Ta Ta Sisterhood!!
WOO HOO!!!
HUGS! JazzyJ

Ladies - I don't want to be a killjoy but lets please be careful about what travel information we post here. This is a very public forum on the internet and it's easy for us to forget that. Love you all and just want us to have a safe fun trip!
-
Are we decided on the Paris Hotel then? Do I need to reserve a room or do we have a block of them? Just curious about the logistics.
Thanks.
-
Laura - Ladies - Here is what I found.
The cost for each additional person over 2 is $30.00. So $60.00 extra for four to a room. To take a hypothetical of $100.00 a night, it would look like this:
2 persons - $50.00 each
3 persons - $43.50 each
4 persons - $40.00 each
So if Tracey needs to reduce the room size to 3 in order to make it work to fit everyone in, it is going to be a negligible cost for a 3 vs. 4 person room. So let's see what Tracey comes up with...
-
Thanks Journey You're so right! I should know better!
-
Jazzy - it's soooo easy to forget. As for a cabana that sounds really cool. Well see how the old funds are doing by then. Personally I bake and can't stay out long without an umbrella, and I've discovered the little one that comes in the cute drinks don't do me any good!
-
Hey My Lovely Vegas HoTTT Mamas!!
Okay just a little tid bit of info for you. We are looking at other hotels besides the Paris because of the fee for over 2 people in a room. Unless I can get Paris to come down on their price we must press on and find a more affordable location on the strip. The Mirage, Ballys, and Treasure Island are all possibilities. I just want us in a clean, safe, and centrally located on the strip hotel. So as I said before I am trying to have a locked in rate by 5/16. I will keep you posted of our progress. PLEASE DONT FORGET TO PM YOUR ROOMIES TO DECIDE WHO WILL BOOK THE ROOM. IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IN CONTACT WITH YOUR ROOMIE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL REORGANIZE THE LIST. I HAVE ALREADY MADE THE CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN PM'D TO ME THUS FAR. THE ROOMLIST IS ON PAGE 1 OF THIS THREAD.
See ya in Vegas!!!!

-
Hello everyone:
Had not been on line for awhile. I have been down in the dumps fighting the insurance company and hating life.
I am still planning on coming to Vegas. I heard from one of my room mates and I think things are in line.
Sorry if I had you nervous. I just get so tired of all the mess. I have been fight insurance and Social Security for almost a year. At the rate they are going, I will be back to work before I get any assistance.

Hey roomy/PinkyLee it's SO GOOD to see you here! All of us are here to give you support and lots of LOVE!!
VEGAS HERE WE COME!!

An idea for tshirts and/or buttons: BC.org has hats and shirts and the money goes to support this site... A button with BC.org and the logo ??
-
Daisy - If a room rate is $100 a night and there are two people in the room the cost is $50 a night per person. There is no "additional" charge for two people in a room. But it sounds like Tracey is still looking for a hotel that does not charge EXTRA for the 3rd and 4th person in the room.
-
I checked on a flight schedule with our local airport and I will fly into Memphis (I don't want to drive up there and then pay high cost of parking my car) and board another plane to get to Vegas at 10:40 that Friday morning.....not to bad but the return flight home would be a nightmare.....flight out of Vegas Monday night at 10:35, changing planes early morning and what would I do until my flight leaves at 10:30 with all of you presumbly already gone....I do not want to be there by myself.....and the cost roundtrip is $391.00
just wanted to vent
-
Hi Linda - what is the next earlier flight out from Vegas and is it too early in the day? I have not looked into flights yet...guess I need to do that. So is everyone arriving Friday the 25th early and leaving Monday late day? The hotel rooms won't be ready more than likely until after 1 or 2 pm from my limited travel experience so we'll have to probably plan on checking our bags with the bell hop so we can go out and have fun!
