You all are right - she is a sweet cuddly heating pad! ๐

snickers is so cute! Thank you for posting a picture. Puzzlewoman, I really need my cat back lol!!
-
DebAL - can you post another pic of your cat? Maybe theyโre twins.

I took foster Colby to the vet this afternoon. Good grief he's a loud cat. He screamed the whole time she cut his toe nails and when he had to lay on his back in a soft, supportive trough for an x-ray. Getting 2 shots, not a peep out of him. They put a muzzle on him while drawing blood. It covered his eyes and kept him from biting. The vet told him it was a party hat.
Tomorrow it's Squeakers turn. He never complains at all. His vet loves him.
-
When many years ago I used to do some work in a cattery (pet taxi and holiday cover mainly) I knew a couple of cats that required falconers gloves (bit like baseball gloves!) just to get the gate open to clean their tray/change their food.
Poor Colby
Best wishes with Squeakers.

Marvin getting his sleep on

What a sweet photo, handsome Marvin! Glad Colby is done and hope Squeakers does well. I have one that does not travel well. He beats up his nose and makes it bleed in the carrier. I tried a Delta airline carrier made only of material last time, but had to turn around and go back home, as he had ripped a hole in it. Give them kisses from me. My vet tech told me to buy Feliway sheets and wipe the carrier down with them, or use the spray - I had no idea, but if I have to do it again, I will try it.
-
Rah - now that's a contented cat! Too funny!
Snickers loves being in her carrier(s). She has two - one is a bigger hard side one probably made for a dog and the other is the airline approved soft side one that is smaller. She has a nice soft blanket in each of them and that's where she sleeps at night and also takes her naps in either of them during the day. She wanders in and out of them all the time, as we leave the front "doors" open. so traveling is easy with her. She sleeps pretty much all the way from florida to Massachusetts. She also loves Hampton Inn duvets! Thankfully, we have never had to sedate her at all.
-
We're afraid to let Squeakers in the car without being in a carrier for fear he'll want to go with us every time we get in the car. We drove from Houston to Seattle with 2 Mom cats and a litter of kittens. The Moms put the kittens under the air conditioning vent and took turns seeing to them.
-
Fab photo of Marvin. That is one relaxed and secure cat!
-
Snickersmom - I am very happy Snickers loves her carrier, both in the car and at home. And loves to travel!
Wren - Houston to Seattle with momma and her kittens, oh my! You are brave!!
This is our stray kitty, named Rastamusen by my Facebook friend, but I call him Mister or Mr. Rasty. He loves the birdbath! DH (I'm learning terms) has built a "catio" on our back porch for my indoor kitties, and he loves to climb up it and sleep on top of it (this drives DH crazy)! I bet he is up there today, under the roof part, because we have rain here all day. I hope everyone is feeling well and has a beautiful day today! I sure love our cats, and photos of yours too. Thank you for letting me share.
-
Hi Missouri Lady! Lucky Mr. Rasty. Love your avatar!! Is that one of your kitties or an internet kitty?
-
Thank you Feeling Feline! That is Gatsby. He was a kitten that wandered in where my husband works and he brought him home. After hiding under the bed for a week or so, he was lying on the bed like that, he loves to lie on his back! He is a goofball!
-
MIssouricatlady Gatsby like to let it all air out! Too cute!
-
Gatsy gave me a wonderful chuckle this morning! He sure knew where to go to find a good home!
-
Oh my goodness I am going to have to go for my shades, that is a total gorgeousness overload!! I love it Gatsby!
-
Thank you Rah, Snickers mom and FeelingFeline, you are all making me smile.
I hope you all have a beautiful day, thank you so much!
And Rah, we did have a dog a few years ago, Cooper, I will have to look for a photo of him. He was my husband's best friend. Sadly, he is up at the Rainbow Bridge.

Ha ha, Feeling Feline, those are cute, I've not seen those before. By the way, I think you have a pretty cool name. And I like your photo too.
-
Thank you MissouriCatLady
-
Too cute, Feeling Feline! I can hear the jaws music playing whenever the can of tuna fish comes out around my house.

Morning all! The pics here make me smile everytime. I'm a bit behind on the thread but going back through I spent 10 minutes trying to find Marvin's head when he was getting his sleep on. Never did find it! Then I choked on my coffee when I saw is it Gatsby sprawled out on the bed like a centerfold! Feeling feline love the cat illustration, so true. Yes puzzlewoman I'll post a pic. I'm having issues with my phone and will post when I can get to the pics. Your cat looks like my Lily. I seem to have more pics of my other cat Cali because she tends to stay still long enough. I hope everyone has a good day!
-
puzzlewoman, here is one of Lily
-
and cali..shutting me down as usual!
-
DebAL, thanks! Those are adorable kitties ๐ฑ
-
The gorgeous 'sleeping cat' photos (of which I have many fine examples) remind me of this
-
You ladies are making me smile! DebAL, love the photos. You too, Feeling Feline. I told my DH about your name, and he thought that was very cool too.
Have a nice day, my new friends! We saw a ground hog this morning, running down the sidewalk. I tried to get DH to SLOW DOWN, so I could get a better look, but he didn't. Cutie!
-
This is my Hazel (who I also call Hazel-Nut when shes acting wild, hence my screen name lol). She is a spoiled rotten diva and I probably got more sleep when my children were infants than I do now with this cat. I absolutely adore her
