What a handsome boy Arthur is!
And I love that selfie that Merlin took!!
-

Arthur is a handsome dude!
-
Merlin love the hug you were giving (perhaps perturbed because it was being documented)! You are a gorgeous boy!
-
TaRenee
Great pic! I think Merlin was probably secretly proud that you consented to be in his selfie

Last night the shelter took in a Mom and 7 kittens. Naturally they were named after Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. All black or with a little bit of white. Not quite 2 lbs which is the criteria for spay/neuter surgery so they may be there next Friday to play with. I heard a man come in asking about a opossum. I suppose he was from Paws, the wildlife rescue. Then I heard Mom and kittens were trapped along with a opossum, so I assume it was the same one.

I love that! I told my cousin, who has doggies, what having a cat is like: constantly asking “how did you get there?”
Last night I couldn’t sleep, found the cat, and set her on top of my chest and basically wore her for a while. The only sleep I got!
-
Foster cat (gray) and mine (black) pretending they like each other enough to share a sunny window. Both are half on the table and half on the window sill so there's enough room between for them to get along.
-
Look who posed for me!
-
My sister had a cat who looked exactly like yours! Gorgeous!
-
I just love the ear tufts.

-
What beautiful babies! And FF I love the post about scavenger hunts, so true!

My Snickers can be absolutely nowhere in the house - not in any of her favorite haunts, not under a bed, not behind anything............and then miraculously she appears out of nowhere and says "what? I was right here the whole time, dummy!!" So can anyone tell me - where do they go???
-
Yeah, I 'm going with that time portal thingy. Cats can occupy a different point on the time space continuum whenever they feel like it.
-
Either that or they are shape shifters and turn their appearance into something else entirely. Japanese in the 16th and 17th centuries believed they could do that.
-
Yeah. Merlin will be MIA and I’ve looked EVERYWHERE for him then there he is, looking at me like I’m stupid for looking and calling all over the house. “What? Did you call me? I was right here behind you.” Little turke
-
I do love the shape shifter theory but there's one problem with that in our house. Snickers has the typical build of a Maine Coon - very broad shoulders and the thickest fur you can imagine. So I have no idea what she would morph into. Maybe a big overstuffed chair? Might work.
-
Ladies you are a riot. Wish we could all sit in a bar somewhere together! And my next little feline will be a little black cat again. I miss my Lucy cat, who I lost a month after my BMx. In fact, I swear she is one of the reasons we caught my cancer. After being cleared on my mammogram in March, she inexplicably took to sleeping nestled in the crook of my arm on my right side , head pillowed on my shoulder, with her two front paws draped across my chest pointing to my left boob where the cancer was. She had never slept on me that way. And somehow she communicated to me that I was in trouble. She will always have my heart, that little black cat.
-
According to I'net Aug 17th is Black Cat Appreciation Day, so we have only missed it by 2 months. HOORAY for Black Cats everywhere.
-
Heard presentedr on car radio this morning pose the question.... "What would your cat name YOU?"
Is that better left unasked?????
-
Meal ticket no maybe pooper scooper
-
-
I’m pretty sure Merlin calls me “Maaa”
-
lol
The Bitch Who Doesn’t Feed Enough Salmon.
-
Our cat would call me her man’s side chick
-
Rah - Holy Cow! I just realized that my Snickers pretty much did the same thing with me before I was diagnosed last year! I couldn't figure out why she would stretch her paws up over my boob to my collarbone on that side. I guess now I know why. I'll keep her around!
She would probably call me the food truck. Or something I wouldn't want to post in public.
