Reka just cancelled--unfortunately they know me now and when I said I had my D--they asked me not to come--cuz I did once..Always leave them with memories, they never forget. So Im going Friday now--I get so mad cuz I just like to get it over with and this damn D never really goes away for long. So I took my meds and right now I'm freezing--that's part of the whole picture with this thing and exhausted so I hope it's about done, but I don't think so.

-
Jazzy, blue has always been my favorite color!
-
Hi ladies- I posted some photos from northern NM. My friend has the best hot springs pictures and waiting for those to come this week. I will see what else I can do!
Found out my best laptop has a failing hard drive so after a few hours on the phone with the vendor, I determined I needed to take a trip to the local computer shop to save my data and see what else can be done. We are doing some rebuilding and restoring and hope to have everything back to the way it was before things ran amok.
Blondie and all my other PA hermits- if I am ever out your way, you know I will let you know and would love to join your outing!
-
Cami- I am sorry these folks are not helping you with the D. It really impacts your quality of life. Can you see a GI doc?
-
Jazzy u pics are great---but I do think I've seen this scenery in scary pics.
Oh Jazzy I've been to 2 gastro with all there tests--it's the way it is. U know since this started with chemo and I kep on getting different ones until they figured I had the right one and remember like 2 yrs of this that it is from chemo and not reversible--rare I know but why not and no one will say Oh yes it was chemo, after all u got the works--so it just remains their mystery but not mine--My theory only.
-
These pics are about 2 hours old. My grands.

Hi All,
Sorry to bring this all on you happy folks--I know how hard it is to get into that space but anxiety and trouble seems to follow me--so if you don't want to hear this --stop reading now! Went to the dentist today to get my teeth cleaned--thought at last a doctor appointment where there is no worry.--Well got my teeth cleaned, polished and flossed by my hygienist. Then, the dentist came in to do his exam. Start to ask me a lot of questions about when I was diagnosed with BC and all. He tells me that he sees a small flat papilloma in the bottom of my mouth--thinks its nothing--but wants me to come back in two weeks to see if it has gone away. Meanwhile while I am settling my bill and making the next appointments one of the receptionist--after asking me about my BC--let it slipped that one of the receptionist that I realized wasn't there any longer--died of BC in January--she quickly added quietly that the receptionist had BC for 10 years and had been ill often. It seemed she was trying to pacify me after letting it slip--or not. Of course it made me sad that we lost another one to BC--but also made me realize why everyone at my dental office was so extremely nice to me. I've been going there a long time and they always are--but now I am thinking that they are thinking.... Many mixed feelings--as I left. Well this is my life and I guess I better live it! Hard sometimes to get my mind off BC when I am always ill and things are happening all around me. Well if you are still reading this--thanks for your time.

Dwill.........we are all in this together, and at times feel like you do........we cannot let this consume us, so please as hard as it is try to not let it devour you............when I first got this horrible disease I had a saying, and have tried to live by it..
I HAVE CANCER.........IT DOES NOT HAVE ME............
The SE;s are a constant reminder that I am not healthy, but I try so hard each day to get to the next day.............each one is a bonus...........please don't allow yourself to go down to the basement.......we have locked the door and thrown away the key...........Hugs.......
-
DW we unfortunately can't get away from it..it follows us, thank goodness for the most part people are understanding... -
Spookie,
Grandkids look like a fun age ;o)
-
Spookie- love the photo of the kids by the water. Nothing like time by the shore.
Dwill- I hope everything is okay with your follow up on the papilloma. I hope it is nothing also. It is hard when people tell you those stories about people who have died from this, but think in this case, it was not said unkindly. And perhaps it helped you to understand their extreme kindness and empathy from those in the office. I embrace that when ever that comes, the kindness from others. You can always share here freely with us whatever is going on. We are a judgement free zone and like to want to know how you are doing!
Tomorrow I turn another year older. I am really opening myself up to celebrating this year after three really crappy years. Although I continue to feel grateful to be here, and in pretty good health these days, all things considered, I just have not been in the place of celebrating much of anything for awhile. Bring on 54!
