Hi Furfriend..............happy to see you.............hugs.....Hurry summer....my grandkids in the pool.....ahhhh.....can't wait......
-
Lordy, its coming again............6-12 inches with a possibility of 12-16............are they kidding.........please let them be wrong........I will be a Hermit..........LOL
-
Hi hermits- loving all the fun pictures and posts here today! Happy March!
Next weekend is Daylight Savings time. Then a few more weeks to the official beginning of Spring!
-
This is my plan for today!
-
-
Hi Hermies---Great Picts.
Ducky u'r right, again we're seeing snow and u'r GC look great in that beautiful pool. Oh I can't wait for my DD's pool too, I'm going a lot this summer I hope, right now tho it's hard to imagine it.
I hope everyone has a decent week-end.
-
Cami........I'll bet if you took the safety cover off my pool now, you would be able to ice skate on it...........I just can't believe we are going to get more snow, and last night on the news they spoke to the guy who does the Almanac.............he said that it was predicted we were getting a bad winter..........then they asked "what does March look like"..............he said "snowy"...............Lord I hope this guy is wrong this time......
I have cancelled more appts because of this weather......either they cancel.........or the streets are bad for driving.....or you can't park anywhere once you get where your going.......
Just have had enough............and the kids will be going to school at this rate till July..........LOL.....
Oh well....like I say "shit happens"................
-
Love ALL the pics!!
-
Hermits- the storm due here anytime is supposed to dump a lot of rain (we hope) and think it is tracking up to the Midwest and east coast. My hope is that it dumps all the moisture out west (that needs it) and peters out before it reaches those who are winter weary.
I grew up in CT and lived there about half my life (left in 1983 for grad school, came back for 10 years, left again). I remember as a kid growing up those years of lots of storms and we often were in school right up until July 4th weekend. Summers are so short back east, I hope that is not the case for the kids this year. Especially little Joey!
-
Ducky our snow has started coming down fast, so it's started here--again---that's all we're saying lately, I also heard our spring isn't going to be to great--of course that can be wrong too. Jazzy u guys need rain so I hope u get it. But I think we've had enough snow.
-
Members that know sas-schatzi,
She posted on the *INSOMNIACS* thread this morning, and is resting after a Thyroidectomy!
-
-
Jazzy, In implure you to take care of yourself...
Cammie thanks for the update I worry about you...
Mary congrats...
Ducky are you ready for the snow...
ok got good news, no mets in the brain....said that chest has improved and wants to keep me on this red devil schitt....am telling him wednesday am taking a week off...i deserve it.....
lHappy Saturday!!
-
blondiex46,
Excellent News!!
-
Teka- thanks for letting us know about Sas.
Blondie- oh my gosh, you had worries of brain mets? I know your breathing has been problematic for awhile. Sorry you have to stay on the red devil. But very glad to hear you don't have any mets to the brain. I am in your pocket always.......
OncoW- I still find social situations to be tiring too. I get surprised sometimes with doing errands too, and then trying to do something else after and then poof, I am wiped out. Don't beat yourself up, just know it is trial and error sometimes with figuring out how much we can do any one day. I hope you can get rested up and feeling better tomorrow! That pool will be waiting for you when you are ready.
I have kept my commitment to lay low today and been resting, reading, watching movies, eating food. I have a bit of GI distress, but that is sometimes caused by the cough drops (or using too many of them) or may be related to the bug. My sinuses are much clearer and do have some chest congestion, but that is not bad either. I will venture out tomorrow, but won't over due. I am trying to keep it slow and easy this weekend. Taking good care of jazzy.....
It rained twice today, not heavy but a good start. Forecast says rain through the morning tomorrow. Then it leaves, we dry out and may see a bit more next weekend.
Who is going to watch the Oscars tomorrow? I know Teka is wanting to see George Clooney!
-
I believe, no George Clooney at the Oscars
(
-
For my winter weary friends.
-
Holy crap hermies! Stopping in to say a quick 'hi' between shifts. Waiting on the snow and offered to drive to work today so my partner in driving crime has snow detail tomorrow. (provided, weather conditions do not prevent people from showing up to relive us)
UGH!!!
Anyhow I am totally LMAO at all of the great funny pics. I swear Ducky, you are going to find me on your pool deck this summer.
Yeah for being done with chemo, laying low and gaining much needed energy from resting etc etc
Look Jazzy, I am willing to donate our snow to your area of the country. Isn't like we need the extra moisture
Gonna fly. so hoping for an early night of work for my son. I just want to go to bed NOW!

-
Oh SHOOT! I said the dirtiest word.....twice..
ARGHHHHHHHHHH
Edit to add, thrice
-
Jazzy I'm glad u'r finally relaxing--u need to.
Blondie very good news--now kick the rest of this chit out. I know how hard that one is but being thru so much I know u can do it---if I can u sure can, cuz I'm a baby. It's funny cuz I don't even remember how long I was on that one, and then I was on some more chit and I don't even know what they were--I started like the same protocol TCH--then it just kept on going LOL
Teka No GC----I love to see him on the red carpet too.
Piper I forgot totally what I was going to say to u, chit.
-
Maybe,
I'll watch the whole shabang.
-
Cami.......the flight of ideas in my prior response is quite embarrassing.
Ahh the grammys
hoping I will see a small part of the show.
Did someone say GC?
-
Fox...........learn to take it easy and say NO.
Cami.......snow will be coming here tomorrow actually warm tonight 42....imagine calling 42 warm..lol...cam G..C does absolutely nothing for me........as for my taste.....give me Clint Eastwood any day......yum..........love Ellen which will probably be the only reason I would watch the show.......guess you have to go to the movies to enjoy it............lol
Blondie honey.............ohhhh we are getting hit again........WTH.........but nothing can dampen the good news you got......so happy for you .........when this weather clears we are making arrangements to meet.........wish we could get together and go to see Firecracker......imagine the 3 of us together......LOL.....sounds like a plan..........
Birthday tonight for the twins......3 years old..............birthday not till March 3rd, but did it tonight..........Grayson picked up a whistle tonight from one of the gifts she got, and out of a clear blue sky "blew it"...........someone would say.......yea so..........well with her disability she does not have the lung and core strength to blow something that hard................we actually cheered for here, and she clapped for herself.................what an accomplishment for her...........my sweet little baby......her sister was her usual funny self...........good night all around...........
So waiting for our storm tomorrow, still wondering how much..............hugs all......Then and Now....
-
Go Grayson! That is so awesome Ducky
-
Sand.......thank you.........it was such a big deal for us......now if she can do that all the time soon she will build up her core.....which will help her strengthen it so she may get strong enough to sit up alone...Wow.......it was a shock when she did it......
Made me so happy............
-
any milestone is huge, especially when it is unexpected!
warms my heart
-
Ducky I'm glad u had such a wonderful time with u'r grandbabies and I can imagine how excited everyone was for Grayson---wonderful. I can tell u in the morning how much snow we got LOL
I never see any of the movies so it makes no difference to me, but I like the red carpet stuff. And when I hear a designers name that I have in my closet I get all excited. Wait I didn't spend that kind of money for sure===HSN & QVC have some of the designers on TV and they make clothes for everyday women. On sale.
-
